Chapter 12
I went to the snack shelf and picked two packs of cookies and tossed her one. Flora turned to me and asked.
“So you think you are more beautiful than I am?”
“Umh, she doesn’t think, she knows that she’s more beautiful than you are” Nicky replied.
“Well when the white chimp said he wants to talk to you, I guess he wasn’t mistaking, cause it appears he wants someone in his level, ‘the ugly one’s” flora stated. She and Diva giggled and left.
“These girls are shameless f00ls” Nicky spat out. She drew closer to me with a smirk. “But wait a sec, the white dude wants to talk to you, O M wow, he must be a secret admirer, go talk to him” she cooed.
“Are you crazy?…. I can’t just walk over there and talk to someone I don’t know, and besides, I thought you Wanted Alex and I to be an ‘us'” I asked her.
“Yea, but a single girl gotta have fun, also you and Alex are already a thing without you knowing, so that mission is accomplished, but having a little fun won’t hurt” she nudged me.
“Thanks but no thanks, also, the way that guy looked at me when we came was creepy, I don’t trust him” I stated.
“You can’t trust someone you don’t know Andra”
“Scratch that Nicky. Let’s work please, I don’t have time for creepy things and creepy people” I brushed her off, she shrugged and ate the last bite of her cookies.
Another bell rang from another table.
“I’ll go” Nicky informed, she jovially picked up her palm slip and skipped off, crazy girl, I just love her.

We worked peacefully that day although flora and Diva tried getting on our nerves, but we are used to their troubles, it no longer bother us, but at times Nicky will just give them a little pepper.
I still can’t believe my break up with Bryan is not bothering me even after I left the apartment.
I guess I never really loved him, maybe I only lusted after him cause he got me the apartment and was my hero in my time of need.
Anyway, he is my past now. But how did Nicky got to know about his escapades with flora and Diva.

As we were trecking to the busstop i asked her. “Nicky how did you get to know about Bryan and flora?”
“Girl knows what a girl has gotta know” she shrugged.
“Spare me that Nicky, please tell me”
“Why are you suddenly on Bryan’s case?” She asked.
“I’m not, I’m just curious. I mean I stay with him sometimes, I even sleep in his room on weekends on several occasions and yet I didn’t notice anything” I complained.
“That’s because you were too blind to see, you loved that idi*t like a f00l” she spat out.
“And why didn’t you tell me when you found out?” I asked her.
“Because I didn’t want to be the cause of your breakup, and besides would you have believed me?”
“I guess not. I don’t know why I even remembered it” I mumbled.
“Then forget it again”
I nodded and we walked on.

I heard car horns and screeching of brakes, I looked back and saw two cars facing each other, I guess they almost collided into each other. But the shocking part is that one of the cars was the same black corolla that I’m suspecting is spying on us. Fear gripped me.
“What a bad driving. Why the hell will whoever that is in that black car leave his own lane to cause trouble this side?” Nicky asked.
“Because he’s following us” I retorted.
“What the h*ll are you talking about?” She asked me.
“Remember the car I told you about that was following us since yesterday?”
She nodded.
“That’s the car, the black corolla” I pointed out.
“Are you sure?” She asked and I nodded. “Then what are we still doing here. Let’s go” she screamed.
She dragged my hand and we started running. When we got to the busstop, we waited for like 5 minutes but no taxi nor bus was in sight”
We saw a black Prado SUV approaching, it stopped in front of us. The driver alighted and walked to us.
He’s a handsome, terribly cute white dude with brown silly hair, athletic body though with a little biceps, his sharp chin made him look like a jewish god, and his step was like that of a model – he kinda look like….. Wait does he look like Alex?… Yea he looks like Alex, wow.
He was wearing a dark jean trouser and a lemon green T-shirt which has ‘I’m your Calvary’ scribnled on it. His gold earrings, diamond wrist watch and Russian shoes really speak of wealth.
“Hi, I’m Caspian, I must confess that it’s my luckiest day to meet beautiful ladies like you. can I get your names” he asked, his American accent sounds so smooth and beautiful just like Alex.
“Guess” Nicky replied rudely, she dragged my hand and we walked away a little far from the guy. This is surprising, Nicky never run away from something like this.
Caspian or whatever he said his name was walked up to us.
“Promise me a date if I guess your names” he said to Nicky.
“I can’t promise anything for now, let’s hear it” Nicky replied.

He pointed at me and said ‘kasi’, I gasped, that’s crazy, is he that good at guessing, chinakasimobi happens to be my native name but my mother calls me kasi.
“Not bad for a guy we met two minutes ago, but you can’t guess mine, so bye” Nicky stated and wanted to drag me away but he stopped her.
“Not so fast beauty, I guess your name is umh…. Ah… Nicky minaj” he said and my eyes almost popped out of their sockets.
“Ha ha, very hilarious” she said without actually laughing. She drew my hand and we walked out.
“Come on beauty, you promised me a date” Caspian complained as he walked up to us.
“I didn’t promise you anything” Nicky argued, for some reason, she was beginning to act as if she’s scared. But of what.
“OK fine, how about I drop you guys off to wherever you are going to” Caspian offered, such a nice guy.
“Thanks but my father’s jet is coming to pick us” Nicky blurted out. This girl won’t kill me.
“Come on, please” Caspian pleaded.
I was actually enjoying their show until I looked up and saw a black corolla driving down to us, I didn’t need to be told that it’s ‘danger ahead’.
I looked back and saw Caspian still following us, this guy seems to really like Nicky, and he is God’s sent, he came at the right time.
I whispered to Nicky “babe, that corolla is back, why don’t we just go with this guy?”
“You don’t even know him” she argued.
“Wow, since when did you start running away from men. Besides I think the guy likes you” I nudged her.
“My spirit doesn’t accept him, I don’t want to do something I’ll regret” she whined.
“Accepting a lift from a guy who likes you is not something you will regret, also it’s getting late and that corolla is catching up” I complained.
She stopped walking and mumbled “fine”
She turned to Caspian who was giving her a puppy eyes.. This guy is funny.
“Let’s go” she mumbled.
We walked back to his car. He opened the front door for Nicky but she declined and went to the back seat.
If we both sit at the back, it would look as if he is our driver which is not good. So I sat at the front seat.
He went to the drivers seat and brought the engine to life and zoomed off.

Few minutes later he asked. “So can I get your real names now?”
I turned to Nicky for permission, she nodded which means that I should go ahead and tell him.
“Well, I’m Andra, although my native name is chinakasimobi, my mum calls me kasi, but I prefer to be called Andra. And the ‘Nicky Minaj’ is just Nicky, Nicole actually but Nicky for short” I stated.
“Wow, I’m really good at guess work” Caspian cooed excitedly.
“Congratulations” Nicky snapped rudely.
“So where exactly are you guys going?” He asked and I gave him the address.
“OK, but can I get your contact or…..”
His voice began to fade away cause I wasn’t concentrating, my eyes were fixed on the black Range Rover that was speeding behind us.
I was seeing through the side view mirror. The main reason why I was staring at the car was because it’s plate number says ‘I Devour’.
The only person that appeared in my mind was Alex. But why will Alex be following Caspian’s car with such speed as if his furious with him and wants to kill him.
But are they in anyway related considering the fact that they look alike… I don’t think its Alex. Maybe a coincidence. I don’t even know what to think anymore….
