After the perfect speech i delivered to Isabella , my heart just melted . I’m not actually that type of a person who does that for women but Isabella , she is everything my parents wants for me to marry and I’m going to make them proud.
I’m tired of my parents always telling me that I’m a disappointment . They like comparing me to my big brother Steven who is happily married to a beautiful smart woman who comes from a very rich family . I’m going to show them that I can do better than that .
Isabella is the perfect trophy to show to my family , she is beautiful and smart . She comes from a very rich family and I’m going to use her to get into my father’s huge business . She is my key to success .
I quickly called my parents the minute I arrived in my room . Ethan has gone out and Isabella is taking care of Daniel in his room so this is my perfect opportunity to talk to my parents .
It took some minutes for someone to answer but my mother finally did ” what do you want stupid boy ? More money ?” She asked coldly .
” Nothing dear Mother . I’m just calling you to inform you that I will be getting married soon ” I smiled proudly while I sat on the bed .
” Married? Who would want to get married to a boy like you ? Hayden darling , you should have just committed sucide long time ago ” my mother half yelled ” And your father is here too and he is indeed agreeing with me !”
” You know Mother. You two are going to come begging for me to forgive you all because I’m marrying a girl from the McKenzie family ”
” What ? The McKenzie family ? They don’t have a daughter . Stop fooling us ” my father laughed ” maybe he is going to marry Ethan McKenzie ! That would be a disgrace to my family ”
” Dad , listen , I just found out few days ago that there’s actually a girl in the McKenzie family . She is Ethan’s cousin and I bet her parents are as rich as Ethan’s parents ”
” A girl ?” My mother whispered ” That girl you want us to meet is part of the McKenzie family ?”
” Yes mother . I told you I’m smart and i have got my ways !” I answered cheerfully ” Finally the Smith family is going to have a rich additional ”
” Wow son . You just made my night . I never thought you could be this smart . You know very well that the McKenzie family is our Competition in the business world ”
” Then prepare to work with them because I’m marrying a McKenzie bride . ”
” My son , you are totally the best . I can’t wait to meet her and we will cook a nice big feast for her ” my mother piped with a lot of joy ” Bye my son ” the she hanged up .
I couldn’t stop smiling , this is the first time my parents ever called me Their son . They always praised my big brother but wait until they meet Isabella , I will even make them kneel down begging for forgiveness for the bad treatment I was getting from them .
Isabella Smith , wow my surname fits perfectly with her name . My father’s business has been having a lot of problems so marrying Isabella will give my father a chance to grow his business a little higher .
I may not love Isabella for who she is but I love the family she is from . Thank God she is Ethan’s cousin . The McKenzie family is very rich and through Isabella my family will be more richer .

The doctor called Ethan’s family about Daniel’s results and I’m very nervous that the truth might finally come out . I’m panicking and Ethan’s mother can’t stop calming me down .
” Annalisa please calm down . Everything will turn out great . I can assure with that . The doctors won’t find anything related to a love potion ” Ethan’s Mother said as she stared at me ” You are acting like a drama queen right now ” she sneered .
” Whatever ! You can’t act all innocent and shit . If the truth comes out . I swear to God I will tell your family everything ” I whispered furiously because I’m fucking serious .
” Then prepare to go to prison Young lady . You are supposed to act smart on this but you are acting like an idiot ”
” I can’t believe you are using my past to blackmail me . I trusted you ” I pointed at her . ” I thought you were kind and thoughtful ”
” Be careful who you trust hon because some people are like poisonous snakes and I’m one of those people so meet me outside in ten minutes ” she said as she walked out of the hospital bathroom .
I just stared at myself in the mirror , breathing slowly and trying not to cry . My parents are counting on me to be perfect but look how miserable I am . Im such a stupid woman for believing that Ethan’s Mother was nice just like Ethan . I’m have kept my fingers crossed for my life . I took a deep breath before I emerged the bathroom .
I quickly walked to the doctor’s office realizing that I’m already late. When I got there I found three chairs already occupied and one chair was left beside Ethan .
” Annalisa Richmond , please come in dear because you are more involved than any of this people here ” the doctor motioned for me to take a sit next to Ethan and I just nodded as I obeyed . Ethan didn’t say anything as he stared ahead .
” I’m doctor Wallingford and I have been going through Daniel’s file . I have found out some disturbing results and it all points to one thing ” the doctor fixed his eyes to me ” Did Daniel eat anything before he reacted like that ?”
” Yes doctor . He ate some breakfast that was cooked by Annalisa here . ” Ethan replied quickly .
” Well , I searched through the hospital history and we had the same case as this one but we managed to solve it . ” The doctor took out some documents ” A man once came here having this kind of a problem and his girlfriend panicked after we took him to the Emergency room . She confessed everything to us . ”
” And what did she exactly confess doctor ?” I questioned quickly and the doctor stared straight into my eyes .
” She told everyone that she used love potion on his man’s food . I have been working in this hospital for a very long time and many women use love potions on their boyfriends . ” He utterd easily ” Do you have something to say Miss Annalisa Richmond about this ?”
Everybody stared at me in shock even Ethan’s mom just Pretended as if I’m the only one behind all of this . It felt as if the world is against me . My heart kept pounding like h’ll and I couldn’t utter a word at that moment as I stared at Ethan’s Mother .
My thoughts were telling me to lie about it . Deny everything but I can’t . I didn’t do it. It’s Ethan’s Mother and she is the only one behind this . It’s better to confess because I can’t afford to pay for her wrong doings .
” Love potion ?” I whispered and the doctor nodded . I sallowed hard ” It wasn’t me . It was Ethan’s Mother who gave it to me to use on her son” I sobbed out .
” My mother ? ” Ethan whispered as he shifted his gaze from me to his mom “You are behind this too ?”
” She is lying Ethan . I was never involved in her evil plans . I don’t know nothing !” Ethan’s mother said camly without any emotions as she gave me the deadliest looks .I swear to God she wanted to kill me .
