? Chapter thirteen [ 13 ] ?

I couldn’t sleep last night because I was so excited to finally introduce Isabella to my family but now things are turning out bad because Ethan has got to tell me something important .
” Hayden , please take a sit . You must know this before you can officially introduce Isabella to your family” Ethan pointed at the chair across him . I just obeyed as Isabella walked in the room and sat beside Ethan .
” Okay , you better make this quick . My parents can’t stop texting me” I said as I switched off my cellphone and stared at them .
” It’s about me , I’m not who you think i am Hayden. I’m not related to Ethan ” Isabella nervously touched my hand ” Ethan found me in the streets . I’m a17 year old orphan ”
” What ? Are you fucking kidding me ?” I laughed a little not believing what I’m hearing right now .
” It’s true Hayden . I was just trying to protect her . She badly needed my help ” Ethan added with a hint of a smile .
” Protect her my foot ! I can’t believe we have been living with a poor slut . I bought clothes for her , using my own fucking money Ethan . Now I’m broke because of that !” I yelled furiously not caring if I’m making this look like a big deal .
” I can repay you all the money you have used on her . Do you still want to be with her ?” Ethan gave me his puppy eyes and I knew from then that he is feeling this girl.
I held my composure , trying by all means not to lose it because this two have been giving each other this love looks that I’m tired of . I thought I have won Isabella’s heart but it seems as if someone has already won ..
” Sure man . I can’t take it anymore . She is all yours and I’m still a angry that you two hid everything from me” I said and they both laughed ” Why are you two laughing ?”
” Because you look so cute when you are angry . ” Isabella grabbed my cheeks” We are so sorry and I knew from the beginning you were up to no good ”
” Now, how am I going to impress my family so they can love me even more ” i whispered ” Life sucks !”
” Well , you have no other choice but to tell them the truth Hayden . You are a very good person and I believe you will make a great decision ” Isabella said cheerfully ” Now go on , call them ” they both stood up and walked out of the room .
I breathed in and out slowly . Isabella was my only hope in making my parents proud but it turns out that I misread everything about her . Now I’m stuck with telling my parents the truth and it hurts a little that Isabella isn’t part of the McKenzie family .
I’m not a bad person and I just knew that Ethan liked Isabella the minute he stared at me begging for me not to freak out or anything because i could scare Isabella off . I respect Ethan and he is my buddy , I care about him that’s why I didn’t freak out when they told me the truth .
I dialed my father’s phone numbers and waited patiently for him to answer .
” Hello , darling Hayden. We have been waiting for you two love birds to arrive . What’s taking you so long ?” My mother said through the line.
” We are no longer coming mom and she is not part of the McKenzie family . ” I stated then I hanged up before she can attack me with more unbearable insults .
” I’m proud of you Hayden . ” Isabella smiled brightly while she stood at the doorway .
I just nodded with no intentions of saying anything . You know , this is that time of the year where you have to pretend as if you are cool with everything because of your friend’s sake. I’m just going to lay low and sulk until I find another girl to use in order to win over my parents because this one is already claimed.
? Annalisa ?
I have been stuck in this house the whole day and I’m tired of it . My father offered Ethan’s money to shut up so she doesn’t pull our family in the mud and I’m angry because of that.
” How could you do such a thing father? That woman is heartless and selfish. She doesn’t care about anyone . She will want more money ” i muttered angrly to my father .
” You listen here young lady , I know what I’m doing and I can reassure you that I have got everything sorted. ”
” You always say that father and look what happened to your second daughter . You killed that innocent baby because you can’t sallow your fucking pride ”
” That baby wasn’t mine and I couldn’t stand that so get over the past and stop acting like a child ”
” I hate that I was born in this family . I hate everyone in this family , I hate you father !” I furiously stomped my foot on the ground before I walked out of the room .
My father is a m©r©n . He thinks giving Ethan’s mother money will keep him away from us especially me but I know that woman . She ain’t backing down until I do something to her myself.
Before I arrived in my room I felt a sharp pain below my abdomen and i collapsed on the floor in pain ” Mom ! Mom !” I whimpered .
? Ethan ?
I thought maybe this was my night but I got a call from Annalisa’s Mother saying that Annalisa fainted and stuff like that.
I don’t love Annalisa like I love Isabella but me and her have been close friends for a very long time and she got me until the end. I can’t just cut ties with her because of the love potion thing because I’m very sure it was my mother who encouraged her to do so .
I kssed Isabella’s forehead goodbye and I patted Hayden’s back and told him to take care of my girl . I’m very proud of Hayden . They way he handled things and it shows that he values our friendship more than everything.
When I arrived at the hospital I found the same doctor who helped us with Daniel’s case but I couldn’t see Annalisa’s parents anywhere .
” Mr McKenzie , it’s good to see you again . Please , follow me in my office . ” And I did . I hope Annalisa is fine because I can’t afford losing another person close to my heart.
” It’s good that you came as quick as you can because Annalisa’s parents said they no longer need such disappointment in their lives ” the doctor closed the door after I sat down and sat on his desk in front of me .
” What do you mean by that doctor ? What happened to Annalisa? Is she okay ?” I asked quickly.
The doctor just hit through the bushes telling me that Annalisa’s parents , came at the hospital looking worried about their daughter because she fainted but they immediately left the hospital the minute they heard that Annalisa is pregnant.
” They told me to tell you that you must get rid of your baby in their daughter’s womb before you can bring her to them ” the doctor concluded ” If you don’t convince her to kill that baby then marry her. ”
I didn’t say anything to the doctor and he just nodded his head as he gave me the room number Annalisa is in . When I got there I found her sitting on the bed looking through the window with tears on her cheeks .
The room was filled with all her belongings and i felt so sad for her because her own family doesn’t want to her .
“So you support their decision Ethan . You want me to kill my baby ” she choked out as she brushed her stomach slightly . ” I don’t even know who the father is !”
” No Annalisa . I don’t want you to kill your baby . It’s your decision ,they can’t force you to and I won’t ” i walked slowly to her bed and sat at the edge of it .” Who cares who the father is , as long as you are here ”
” They said they will cut ties with me forever if I don’t get rid of the baby . They don’t want such a stupid child in their lives , my own parents Ethan , they have left me here alone ”
” You are not alone Annalisa . I’m here with you and I promise I will be with you in every decision you take “I reassured her as she cried silently .
” Should I abort the baby Ethan ?” She whispered sadly and I just stared at her debating if i should say yes or no because right now it’s either her or my Isabella .
