Aliyah’s Pov:

Smiled escaped my lips as the doctor removed the bandage from Arya’s face.

I covered my mouth as I jumped for joy.

“My baby” I called out as my Arya smiled broadly.

She was looking absolutely beautiful as usual with her spotless face.

“How do I look now Mom?” She asked as I smiled.

“You look so beautiful again my daughter… Am so happy you are once again as cute as you used to be” I kissed her fist.

“You can be discharged tomorrow my dear cos you are already fit” The doctor said.

“Thank you so much doctor” Arya chuckled.

The doctor and nurse walked out if the ward as I hugged her tightly.

“Thank you so much Mom” She said as I furrowed my eyebrows.

“Thank you? But for what?” I asked confused.

“Thank you so much Mom.. this wouldn’t have been possible without you by my side” She said as I chuckled.

“You know I love you so much my child and I will always be by your side” I said as I patted her hair.

“I can not wait to go back to school Mom! I really miss going back to school and having fun in school with my friend Sofia” she said with so much happiness.

“And again baby you have to be more careful this time.. you know too well that we don’t know those who tried to kill you right?” I said.

“You are right! I have to be careful so I don’t get hurt again” She said as I nodded.

“Don’t worry there will never be a time when I will ask you to go home on your own again… I promise you no matter what it is that I have at hand I will surely go pick you up through thick and thin” I assured.

“Alright Mom! I can’t wait to leave this hospital like and sick and tired of it already” We shared a laugh.

“You heard the doctor right? You will leave the hospital before you know it… Tomorrow we will be going back to our house officially and you won’t have to be here anymore” I said as I hugged her tightly.

Dora’s Pov:

I got down from my car and rushed right into the hospital with so much excitement.

You don’t know how excited I am to know that my daughter Arya has finally become beautiful again.

Like her bandage has been taken off so her face is back to normal.

“Arya?” I called happily as she got down the bed and rushed into my arms as I squealed in excitement.

“Aunt Dora” she called hugging me so tight.

Am happy my lovely girl is back to normal right now.

“Oh my gosh… You are so beautiful again my love” I said as she chuckled

“Really aunt?” She asked as I pecked her cheeks.

“Of course my dear… Now you are looking like your aunt Dora again as usual” I said as we shared a laugh.

“Dora… So you didn’t notice me here huh? You are just too concerned about your daughter Arya and then you forgot about your best friend huh?” Aliyah feigned anger.

“Why in God’s name will I ever forget you my darling best friend? I will never forget you my best friend or should I say my sister?” I said as I hugged her tightly.

“How was work? You closed so early” Aliyah said.

“Why won’t I? You don’t know how excited I was when I heard that my Arya now has her pretty face back” I said as we shared a laugh.

“Am more than happy too to know she’s beautiful again like she used to be” Aliyah chuckled.

“When will uncle Leo come to see me Mom? Call him up already and tell him that I can’t wait to see him with my beautiful face” Arya joked as we burst into laughter.

“You are silly Arya! Well I have been calling him but he is not picking up so I will just drop him a text message” Aliyah replied.

“This calls for a very big celebration.. I can’t wait for you to be discharged so that we can go out and celebrate” I said as I sat on the couch right beside Aliyah who was peeling an orange.

“You sure know what I have in mind” Aliyah said still busy with her cell phone she was operating.

“That reminds me I haven’t even told my best friend about this new development of mine” Arya almost screamed.

“Alright then… Go ahead and tell her the good news am sure she can’t also wait to hear it” I said.

Sofia’s Pov:

I was about to retire to bed as I walked out of the bathroom with my bathrobe.

I was singing my song so loud as I walked straight to the dressing mirror where I picked up the body lotion on the dressing table as I applied it on my body and legs including face.

My cell phone rang noisily and I walked straight to the bed where I dropped my cell phone.

It was my best friend Arya.

“Oh it’s Arya” I said as I quickly picked the call up placing the cell phone on my ear.

“What’s up bestie” my voice rang into the phone.

“Hi Sofy guess what?” She sounded so excited and I got confused.

“What? What happened?” I asked anxiously.

“Come on can’t you just do what you are told to… I said you should guess right?” She said.

“Arghhhh… You know me right? You know am not good at guessing huh” I scratched my head.

“Just try… Try to guess! It’s not a must that you have to get it right you know” She said as I yawned tiredly.

She’s such a pin in the ass don’t yu you think?

Though I really miss her so badly…
