CHAPTER 16
“Excuse me principal, I should have a word with Josie” Jemma said as she stood up from her seat.
Jemma ran after Josie.
“Josie you have to apologize to her. You better do that, I didn’t raise you to be this way. They are better ways to handle conflicts Josie” Jemma said seriously.
“Why do you care? I wouldn’t have fought with anyone if it wasn’t because of you. Stay out of my business, I will apologize to her when I see fit so stop pushing it” Josie said arrogantly then walked away.
Linda couldn’t go with her, stayed back.
“Linda what happened? You should stopped them from fighting, I can’t believe you joined them as well. What the hell even caused the fight?” Jemma asked frustratedly.
“Aunt is everything okay at home. Josie isn’t being her real self today. A student called you a slut and that’s what upset Josie and I. The student was bold enough to repeat her statement and it vexed Josie even more. She wasn’t in a good mood to begin with and then the insult” Linda explained.
“Why would a student use such words? I was wrong to tell Josie to apologize. That student deserved everything she got. What the nerve to call me names! Her parents wouldn’t even stand a chance to be in same vicinity as me” Jemma said getting upset.
“You’re right about that Aunt. She should apologize as well” Linda said and Jemma nodded.
“Don’t worry about that. I will speak with the principal, my daughter isn’t apologizing to any arrogant brat. Leave it to me. Go to class and put a closer eye on Josie, a lot is going on right now and she will need you now than ever” Jemma said calmly.
“Alright aunt, bye” Linda said then went to class.
Jemma went back into the principal’s office.
“Mrs Chen, did you manage to convince Josie to apologize?” The principal asked and Jemma sat down.
“That would be quite unfair to my daughter if she’s the only one who apologizes, after all the other student caused the comotion. And luckily Josie didn’t give her any bruises or injuries but it was wrong of Josie to initiate a fight in school in the first place. Mr principal, the two students should apologize for breaking the school rules. I will take my leave now, thank you” Jemma said politely then stood up.
“Josie is a good student, she has never been caught in an act like this before so I’m hoping you settle things with her at home. Kids only gets rebellious like this when they’re having problems with their folks” The principal said calmly.
“Bye Mr principal” Jemma said and left the office without even turning back.
Jose regardless of your anger towards me, you still fought for your mum. Rebellious or not, I’m not changing my mind about the divorce. Jemma uttered in her mind then dialed her lawyer’s number.
“I gave you the details of why I’m divorcing Caleb so get the divorce papers ready. I want them ready before this week runs out” Jemma said seriously over the phone heading to the parking lot.
“You don’t have to worry. I will get the papers ready” The lawyer said over the phone.
“Thank you, I will wait for your reply” Jemma said and hung up.
She got into her car and drove off.

GG DIAMONDS BUILDING**
Jemma drove to the company. She walked in majestically with a blank expression on her face. Jemma barely put on red lipstick but she’s putting on one now. The whole company stared at her admirably.
“Good day boss” The employees greeted as Jemma walked in.
Jemma went into her office.
“Get into my office right now” Jemma said over the land phone.
~ In my office now ~ Jemma texted Caleb.
She brewed some coffee for herself and sat down on the couch in her office then crossed her legs.
Olivia knocked on the door before coming in.
“Boss you called for me” Olivia said politely.
“I did but one person isn’t here yet” Jemma said calmly.
Olivia held her breathe for a second and just then Caleb joined them.
“Jemma what’s this meeting for? We decided not to bring personal issues to the office” Caleb uttered and Jemma had a sip from her coffee.
“Quite refreshing” Jemma smiled looking at her coffee.
“Jemma” Caleb called out harshly and Jemma dropped her cup of coffee on the table.
“Watch your tone! you’re supposed to refer to me as Boss or CEO. Don’t forget I’m your superior here so watch the way you talk to me” Jemma said professionally.
“Sorry about that but I’m your husband and it shouldn’t matter what I call you” Caleb said calmly and Jemma stood up then walked to her desk.
“You said we shouldn’t bring personal issues into the office but the both of you started your affair in my company, under my nose. You’re quite incredible don’t you think” Jemma said with a smile as she threw them the photo of the both of them hugging passionately.
“Boss I can explain this” Olivia panicked as she picked one of the photos.
“Save your speech for someone else. What kind of lie do you plan on cooking up this time around? I’m tired of your lies” Jemma said with a blank expression and Olivia looked at Caleb.
“Jemma we’ve decided to get a divorce so what’s the need for this drama?” Caleb asked.
“You’re both still in my company and that worries me a lot. Still feeding yourselves from my pocket doesn’t feel right. We should all hold up for the consequences of our actions, that’s what a real man should do. Olivia I called you to tell you this, you’re fired. I’m very disappointed in you, you disrespected me and my kids and I will never forgive you for that but I’m hoping you raise your kid well” Jemma said seriously.
“I’m so sorry boss… I never planned on making things end this way, I’m so sorry boss” Olivia said sobbing on her knees.
“You should leave now and I would appreciate it if you tell people why you got fired. You’re not allowed to spend another minute in my office or my company else the security will have to throw you out and you wouldn’t like that” Jemma threatened strictly and Olivia ran out of the office in tears.
“Jemma, this isn’t right. Was it necessary to fire her?” Caleb asked worriedly and Jemma smiled.
“Why? This is my company, I have every right to fire whoever displeases me. You’re not an exception Caleb. You should start packing your things as well because you will be leaving my company immediately our divorce get finalized” Jemma said seriously.
“Jemma I’m a shareholder as well”
“Was a shareholder, you will no longer have any rights to be in GG diamonds once our divorce is finalized. I’m done talking so leave my office, I’ve got things to do” Jemma said coldly then sat down.
“Jemma…” Caleb couldn’t utter anything when Jemma cut in.
“Out” She ordered strictly and Caleb went out of the office and Jemma smirked.
Olivia ran to the parking lot with her things in a box.
“Olivia!” Caleb called out running after her.
“What!” Olivia shouted sobbing and Caleb hugged her from behind.
“I’m sorry for making you lose your job” Caleb said softly and Olivia shoved him off.
“I just got fired and you’re hugging me in a public place like this. Do you want the whole company to know I had an affair with you? Caleb please let me safe some face before leaving here” Olivia said irritatedly then got into her car and drove off.
“Jemma is really making things even tougher” Caleb sighed with his hands on his waist.

HANKUK UNIVERSITY (HUFS) ***
6: 40pm..
Eli came out of the lecture hall after finishing his classes for the day.
“Eli! Eli! President!” Ruby called from behind but Eli ignored her so she ran after him.
“Eli I’ve been calling you” Ruby said sarcastically as she ran to his front, stopping him from walking.
“Move out of the way” Eli said coldly and Ruby crossed her arms on her chest.
“No I won’t, you should at least tell me why you’ve been avoiding me since early hours of today. Did I offend you?” Ruby asked curiously and Eli glared at her.
“You just did. You should understand when a person isn’t trying to speak with you. You called and I didn’t answer, that should have given you the answer. Stay away from me and stop being clingy, it’s annoying!” Eli yelled then brushed her shoulders as he walked away without even turning back.
Ruby felt so hurt almost boosting into tears but Zed walked to her.
“Don’t feel upset, you caught him at a wrong timing. He probably has a lot on his mind right now and that’s why he’s a bit grouchy right now” Zed said slowly and Ruby looked at him and tears escaped her eyes and she wiped it off.
“Hope you’re shedding tears because of the way Eli spoke to you?” Zed asked curiously and she looked away.
“Of course not, something just got into my eyes and I won’t let him brush me off like that” Ruby said seriously then ran after Eli.
Eli got to his car, he opened the door to get in but closed the door.
“Is it a hobby of yours to brush people off like that. I won’t let you do that to me again” Ruby said seriously.
“So what? What are you going to do?” Eli asked coldly.
“I will.. I will ….” Ruby stuttered.
“Just get out of my way” Eli said rudely as he pushed her away and got into his car and drove off.
“What the!” Ruby uttered angrily.
Eli drove off to a bar and turned his phone off.
Eli drank so many bottles of alcohol as flashes of what Jemma said last night kept on flashing in his head.
“Why did you get married in the first place if you’re going to end up getting a divorce. Why?” Eli yelled drunkenly as he went out of the bar.
“Should I get a taxi? Getting a taxi will only be troublesome” Eli uttered out drunkenly then got into his car.
Eli drove off… Eli got to the traffic jam but he didn’t realize it was a red light so he drove pass the traffic and suddenly got h!t by a bus..
