CHAPTER 13
“Are you calling me a cheater so you can get away from what you did? It’s just a photo and it doesn’t even look intimate but you’re using that to cover up your hideous affair. What the nerve you’ve got Caleb” Jemma said seriously and Caleb laughed.
“Hideous affair? Look who’s talking, you’ve been acting all clean and innocent while you’ve also been cheating on me. Jemma the both of us had an affair so that means we’re even” Caleb said slowly as he tried to suppress his anger.
“I didn’t have an affair. Not everyone’s like you. I wouldn’t be so shameless to expose my affairs to the public if I was involved in one and what did you mean by my ex boyfriend? Who’s my ex boyfriend?” Jemma asked angrily.
“You’re really acting dumb Jemma but it’s not working on me. Are you trying to say you have no idea who Weston is?”
“Mr Hong is one of our investors so how does that make him my ex boyfriend? Caleb stop looking for ways to stop me from confronting you. If you think I’m having an affair with Mr Hong so be it, I don’t really care” Jemma screamed.
“I don’t think this will work out.!” Caleb said dispirited.
“It’s really not going to work. We’ve both lost faith in our marriage and there’s no way, I will act like nothing happened between you and my secretary. I can’t forgive you for that Caleb. You lied to me and still continued with your affairs. You planned on lying to me for the rest of my life if I hadn’t caught you” Jemma said seriously.
“Jemma don’t put all the blame on me. You’re also involved in this whole mess. I’m not the only one who had an affair” Caleb cut in.
“Just shut it Caleb. I’ve never had an affair in my whole life and I won’t tolerate you accusing me of doing something so cryptic” Jemma said seriously.
“How am I supposed to believe you when you feel very comfortable around Weston. Did your old feelings for him return?”
“What the heck are you saying Caleb? What old feelings? Are you making things up just so you could upset me. You’re really pushing me to the edge. It doesn’t matter how long we keep this argument up, things will not go back to the way there before” Jemma said coldly.
“Exactly and that’s why it will be a great idea that we go our separate ways” Caleb said coldly and Jemma looked at him in shock.
“This suddenly stopped working because we spent our younger days trying to make this relationship work. We should get a divorce Caleb” Jemma uttered breathlessly.
“Aren’t you supposed to be begging me to stay? Jemma don’t throw everything we had just for Weston. You can do better than this” Caleb said anxiously and Jemma slapped him and pushed him to the door.
“Can you just stop calling his name and get the hell out of my office. I’m done with you Caleb, you should be happy I’m giving you back the freedom to be with your lover so stop saying trash and get the hell out” Jemma screamed then shut the door.

Weston is still on his way heading to the construction site of his company when he had flashes of what happened between Jemma and him earlier.
“Luckily she seemed to be in a better mood before I left” Weston said with a smile.
I’ve missed your beautiful smile Jemma. I’m very honored to witness that today. Weston said in his head and his phone started ringing.
He put on his earbuds before taking the call..
“Weston there’s a slander spreading on the internet about you and Jemma” Gabriel said over the phone and Weston immediately parked at the side of the road.
“What did you just say?” Weston asked curiously.
“Did you share an umbrella with her today? That was quite an amazing scene. The both of you really looked like lovers. The whole internet is on fire. Weston Hong the eye candy of all the ladies on this industry and Jemma Chen the CEO of GG diamonds are secret lovers” Gabriel read out and Weston frowned.
“Who the h’ll posted such trash on the internet? I wouldn’t have felt this upset if it was true. Like what the heck? Have Jemma said anything about it?” Weston asked curiously.
“Not really. She must be having a great battle with Caleb, that cheater” Gabriel cursed.
“Do you think this will cause any troubles in her home? I’m hoping this doesn’t escalate” Weston said worriedly.
“This is a good sign at least. Jemma already had a problem at her home because of Caleb so this isn’t a big deal” Gabriel said.
“I don’t really care, before things get out of hand help me deal with that reporter. I want to sue them for uploading such fake news to the public. My relationship with Jemma is at stake here, I really don’t appreciate people judging those close to me” Weston said seriously.
“I think the reporter is a lady and she was definitely paid to put an eye on you Weston” Gabriel said.
“She’s going to regret accepting that job. Gabriel I want you to mess with her, If it’s possible she should lose her job and even her license. I really wanted to keep a low profile and that’s why I came back to Seoul” Weston uttered seriously.
“Consider it done. You’re ordering me around like your assistant, don’t you think you should bribe me at least” Gabriel said jovially.
“You can’t blame me for always asking for a favor from you. You’ve got so many connections here and that’s why. But don’t worry, I will make it up to you. How about I treat you out tonight?” Weston asked with a half smile.
“Doesn’t sound like a bad idea and I don’t refuse free treat” Gabriel said and Weston laughed.
“I’m heading to the construction site. We should talk when I get back and deal with that reporter on my behalf. Thanks man” Weston said and hung up.

HANKUK UNIVERSITY (HUFS) ***
Later that evening**
Eli and the rest of the members are done with their work at the hall.
“If our president hadn’t call over the janitors. We might be swimming in dust right now” Zed said with a wide smile.
“Thank you for your work” Eli said calmly to the janitors and they left.
“Since we’re done. How about we go out and have dinner? You must all be hungry” Zed cut in.
“Of course it is. Whose treat?” Everyone shouted and all their fingers landed on Eli.
“Come on guys, that’s not fair. The president went through so much to get the janitors to help us with our work and now you want our dinner to be his treat” Ruby argued.
“Ruby’s right but who would be the greater person” One of the members said.
“My treat” Eli and Zed said in unison.
“Come on Eli, I’m trying to be the bigger person here” Zed pouted.
“It’s my first day as the president so it’s only right that I treat everyone to dinner. Does anyone have any place in mind?” Eli asked with a half smile.
“Lots of places in mind”
They all head out to the parking lot.
“You don’t have a car of your own right?” Eli asked Ruby sarcastically and she rolled her eyes.
“Not because I don’t have a car doesn’t mean I don’t know how to go around. What a braggart” Ruby glared.
“You stood up for me for the first time and thanks for that. I didn’t mean to be a braggart but you can see everyone got into their own cars and Zed’s car but you’re the only one left. Do you mind if I give you a lift instead” Eli said looking away.
“You should have said so. Thanks for the offer” Ruby said sarcastically then got into his car before Eli would.
Eli smiled looking at her.

~~ WESTON’S BUILDING**
Weston got back home so drunk.
“Ruby! Ruby! I’m home” Weston called out as he sat down on the couch so carelessly.
“Sir you’re back” Suzy said smiling as she came out of her room.
“Where’s Ruby?” Weston asked drunkenly and Suzy sat next to him.
“She isn’t back yet. She called earlier to inform me she wouldn’t be coming back now and she said she’s having dinner outside” Suzy explained.
“Alright. I had dinner outside as well so we should call it a day. Good night” Weston said slowly as he struggled to stand up.
“Sir let me help you to your room” Suzy offered holding Weston’s arm but he sluggishly shoved her off.
“It’s okay, don’t bother. I can help myself” Weston said and finally got to stand up but he couldn’t take a step without stumbling so Suzy held him tight.
“Sir what if you trip and fall so let me help you to your room” Suzy said defiantly.
She helped him to his room.
Weston fell on his bed tiredly and Suzy fell on him.
She caressed his chest.
“What are you doing Suzy?” Weston asked drunkenly.
“I should take your jacket off sir” Suzy whispered and Weston slowly closed his eyes.
Suzy unbuttoned his jacket slowly.
I can’t mess up this chance. This may be my last chance because someone blew my cover already. Suzy uttered in her head anxiously.
She kssed Weston on his neck as she sniffed his neck.
“Is this a dream come through?” Suzy whispered with a smile.
