Desmond’s POV
(Evening)
I gather my things into the bag and take some files with me as I won’t be resuming the office the next day.
The ASP has gotten the falsified ID I asked for with my picture on it and also with a different name.
I took my bag and went out and I bade goodbye to the officers and move towards my car.
” Are you going home now? ” I turned and see the young girl from earlier.
” Heyy….yeah I am, what about your mom?” I asked just then I saw her mother coming out of her.
” oh here she is” I said.
” you’re going home” she asked.
” yeah, need to start working on it immediately” I said.
” Okay, I see you’ve met my daughter” she said.
” yeah…..we met earlier and she’s lovely, alright I will go now…….you take care ” I said.
” Goodnight sir ” she said.
” Goodnight, bye sofie” I said.
” Goodnight Mike” Sofie replied and i entered my car and drove off.
On my way home I went to a boutique and look for a shoe, a shoe with a broad pad underneath.
I bought some clothes as well then I went back home, I got home and started making preparations.
I looked into all the file to know where to start from and how to go with it, since I won’t be having a gun with me it’s better if I keep a weapon close by which is why I bought the shoe.
I took out the shoe from it pack and slice the pad underneath with a knife then hide a very small knife in it and I gum it back.
After I’m through with everything I ate dinner and call it a night.

(Next Day)
After getting dressed in a normal way to look much more like a journalist and not give away my occupation.
I added a little beard to disguise myself a little then put on my glasses, and also take a jotter and pen just to look more like a journalist then head over to the parlour.
I ate my breakfast and after that I left my house without my car, one of the place I need to go is Novak club.
I waved down a cab which took me straight to the place, I got down and started asking around.
As I was walking by the street and I look around to see if there’s any surveillance cameras around but there isn’t one.
After asking a few people from the place and I jot down a few things but most of them have no idea of the incident.
I left the place and head over to the next which is C&J Club so I took a cab there immediately.
I begin asking questions around but I’m not getting anything from any of them either, I went to the next which is the place where the college party took place.
I asked some people around and I was told students from different schools around do come over to party.
I showed them the picture of the missing kids and few of them were able to identify a boy but couldn’t say what happened later.
woww, this is getting weirder than I expected, this people really clean up real good without leaving a trace.
I started visiting the schools around the vicinity one after the other, I was getting tired of not having any hint of what next to do.
I went to the next school but before I proceed with anything I decided to fill my belly before I continue as I was very hungry cause of the walk, so I head to a nearby restaurant.
After I was done eating I entered the school and saw a boy sitting down reading his book so I decided to ask him.
” Heyy man” I said as I sat beside him.
” whassup ” he replied.
” Good, umm…I’m a journalist, an intern actually and I was given an assignment to get a report on some incident happening around this province” I said.
” ohh……you’re a journalist?” he said surprised mixed with excitement.
” yeah, I am” I replied showing him my ID.
” Oh My God, that’s exactly what I’m studying for…….i also want to be a journalist, journalism is best job ever” he said excitedly.
” woww…. Really, I’m so glad meet someone like you who would understand” I said.
” yeah me too, my name is kelechi by the way” he said.
” Rapheal” I replied shaking his hand.
” woww…so tell how is journalism?” he asked.
” God, what kind of thing is this?……I’m the one supposed to ask questions not you” I thought.
” yeah….journalism is very good, and just like you said earlier it’s the best job ever” i said.
” woww……so how…..”
” I’m see actually like I said earlier I’m on an assignment ” I said interrupting him as I noticed he’s going to bombard me with questions.
” oh sorry, I was just so happy to meet someone like me, who is already a journalist” he said and I smiled warmly.
” so what’s the assignment all about?……I will be happy to help a fellow journalist” he asked.
” yeah, actually it’s about the missing people around this place, most especially students, what can you say about that? ” I asked.
” Hmmm……you know, it is disheartening, ignominious, barbaric and devastating that we are subjected to a compendious laconic lacuna and economic suffocation such as this, with no hope emancipation” he said and I was short of words.
” The Perusing reports is tremendously catastrophic at this moment because all you visualize is a looming holipoli. Based on my sagacious idiosyncrasy, I have come to conclusions that……..”
” wait wait wait…… Haha” I cut him off.
” Ah ah Chill nah, I’m not here to fight you, I only came to put some things together” I said.
” sorry bro, I was just devastated, everything is just overwhelming, all I want is for us to be emancipated from all this”
” why would this inauspicious, adverse, unpropitious, presaging ill fortune, ominous and catastrophic incident have to happen in this province ” he said and I nodded negatively.
” it’s not your fault, it mine, I’m the one that asked you what you think” I thought to myself.
” do you go to parties or club ?” I asked.
” Nah, I’m not a party guy, I’m more like the guru guy” he said.
” yeah obviously, do you know this boy here? ” I asked showing him the picture.
” No” he answered.
” what about her or her?” I asked.
” sorry man, nah” he answered and I sighed.
” pheeeeww, this is not good” I muttered.
” Damnn……this girl’s beauty just keeps burnishing everyday ” he said I followed his stares to a girl walking by and we are not the only one staring at her.
Wow, the girl is indeed beautiful but with her dress and her way of walking is more like a cocotte.
” Isn’t that girl gorgeous?” he said.
” so a guru like you can be interested in a beautiful girl” I said.
” c’mon man, I have my brain for a reason and also my eyes for a reason, everyone likes a good thing” he said.
” don’t tell me if you have a chance with her you won’t go for it” he said.
” Nah, she’s not my type…….look at the way she carry herself, her sluttiness, she’s a body tease” I said.
” she wants attention, she wants people to be overwhelmed and enchanted by her beauty” I said.
” and it’s working” he said.
” yeah it is, anyone would take her for a pro$titute if they see her walking at night, she’s too young to be living like this” I said as I looked as girl drove off.
” Dmn man, you’re very good at this…….see how you did your investigation on her with even asking her anything, are you a detective or what or did you know her before” he said.
” I don’t need to, one thing you should know about journalism is to look out for things you see before you approach ” I said.
” maybe, but that girl is damn rich as well…….she and her brother spend lavishly, they both have their own car and not just any car, a great one, you see the one she just drove off” he said.
” yeah I can see that ” i said.
” yeah, and also one more thing……..she and her brother loves to party alot, I haven’t seen any club they haven’t been to ” he said and my head sprang up.
” really? ” I asked.
” I’m telling you man, club, house party, dorm party, school party, she is a party freak…….maybe you should ask her about your assignment, I’m very sure she might have a clue” the boy said.
” then I will, I will come here tomorrow ” I said.
” alright man” he said.
” thanks, I need to go” I said then left the school.
I was exhausted from everything and it seems the case will be harder that I thought.
I only have to options left, I should hope the girl has a very good information and hope she share, or I will have to wait till the next three months to catch them.
I bring out my phone and put a call through to the ASP, which she picked at the second ring.
” Hello sir” she said.
” heyy…..how’s everything?” I asked.
” Good……how about you?……you find a lead? ” she asked.
” Nah, it’s not as easy as I thought but I will keep digging anyways” I said.
” okay sir” she replied.
” I need you to do something for me, Dispatch the officers to every clubhouse around the province”
” make sure they lock up and no club is open, no college party as well…….just make sure there’s no party tonight ” I said.
” alright sir, I was thinking maybe we should set a curfew so no one would stay out late” she said.
” that will be great, that’s fantastic….. You do that immediately ” I said.
” okay sir” she replied.
” okay thanks” I said then the call.

Author’s POV
Angela got home from school and she met her parent in the parlour.
” Hy Mom, hy dad ” she said.
” welcome darling ” Mrs Wilson said.
” so dad, how did the test go?” Angela asked.
” they are all disease free, which means we can proceed” I said.
” woww….that’s great dad” Angela exclaimed.
” you should go to your room and prepare for the club tonight ” Mrs Wilson said.
” okay mom ” she said then left for her room.

(Few hours later)
Angela left the house and went on her mission while Mr and Mrs Wilson went down to the cellar to begin their work.
As they near the cellar they could hear their victims crying out for help, then she opened the door and saw them trying to set themselves free.
” please let us go…….my family must be very worried about me, please you have to let us go” A girl cried out.
” uhh darling, I’m very sure they are but sorry we can’t let you go, your parent will never see you again not in this life” Mrs Wilson said and they girl was shocked.
” what’s the meaning of this?…….what did we ever do to you?……what do you want?…..if you’re hoping to collect anything from my parents then you’re wasting your time” another girl said.
” you’re very funny, what I need from you I will take it and I don’t even need to beg infact you won’t even know it” Mrs Wilson said then jingle the bell and they all went unconscious.
Mrs Wilson went to one of the girls then untie the rope on her before dragging her out of the cellar.
She dragged her to the ab@ttoir where her husband is waiting, as she entered, Mr Wilson helped her and lay the girl on the table. After they are done they carried her body and set her on the ground.
They did this to the rest of them as well and after they are through they took what’s left of their bodies to the backyard.
They have a big acres of land in the backyard and they buried them there all together.

(Next Day)
The family all gathered at the dinning table as usual, for their breakfast while they discuss the matter at hand.
” this is taking longer, angela you should have tried somewhere else” Mr Wilson said.
” what makes you think I didn’t?,….the police figure out most of the people went missing at a party” she said.
” All the club were closed, there’s even a curfew which makes it even worse…….no one was around” Angela said.
” can you still do this or should I send your mother? ” Mr Wilson asked.
” I’ll do it, I’ll do today” she said.
” remember we are running out of time, we’ve already taken the merchandise from the prey remaining just one guy” Mr Wilson said.
” I will bring him dad” she assured.
” Good”.

Desmond’s POV
I left house early and begin my investigation around the place still looking for a clue.
I timed myself that immediately it’s afternoon I will go over to the college from yesterday and look for that girl.
The result from my questioning was the same one as yesterday, no clue at all, everyone was clueless.
How could this people do something like this and get away with it, they clean up everything and make sure no one see them.
When it’s afternoon I went to the college and wait for the girl to come out of the school.
I waited for two(2) hours but I didn’t see her come out but I do see her car from yesterday, I used the opportunity to asked the students around about the missing person.
Then after a while later I saw her coming, walking majestically swinging her hips making the passerby stare at her.
As she move closer to her car I stood up and went to her, and she stopped when she saw me.
” Hi” I said.
” Hy……do I know you?” she said smiling.
” I’m Mike Davies, a journalist ” I said.
” ookkay Mike, what’s this about?” she asked.
” And Mike…..if you want to ask me out just do so already and if you’re not be fast with whatever it is……i need to go somewhere” she said before I could even answer her first question.
” No, no…….I’m not here to ask you out…..I’m here for something else entirely ” I said.
” Woww….. now I’m heartbroken” she said pouting her lips.
” okay what is it? ” she asked impatiently.
” like I said earlier I’m a journalist, and ummm I was given an assignment to work concerning the incident happening in this province” I said.
” ……..and I was hoping we could talk about it over a cup of coffee” I said and I noticed her change of expression.
” which incident are you referring to? ” she asked.
” uuummm…..about those people missing without a trace” I said.
” whaaat……are you accusing me of kidnapping?…..how dare you?…..what makes you think I have anything to do with it……how dare you?” she said angrily.
” No no no…….you’re taking this wrong that’s definitely not what I’m saying” I said.
” then what?……you’re making me a suspect?…..are you crazy or what?…..I’ll make sure you lose that petty job of yours” she said.
” wait wait…..calm down, you’re taking this all wrong, why would I invite you over for a coffee if I’m suspecting you?…….please calm down and hear me out” I said and she became calm.
” I’m sorry if I made you feel that way but that’s not what I’m trying to say here, I heard you go to parties alot and I just want to asked you if you’ve seen any of this people at the party that’s all” I said showing her the pictures.
” I didn’t want it to sound weird which is why I invited you over for coffee, that’s all I swear ” I said.
” you should have start with that….instead of you going that way?” she said.
” I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” I apologized.
” no problem ” she said then took the picture from me and pointed to two of the guys.
” are these two guys missing?” she asked surprised.
” wait……you mean you’ve seen this two guys before? ” I asked curiously.
” yeah, like all the time…….i saw them three days days ago, they even asked me to dance but I reject” she said.
” where?” I asked.
” at a college party that my brother and I went to” she answered.
” really?…..oh my God, did you…..did you know when they left or how they left, who they left with or if you see them leave?” I asked.
” Nah I don’t know, I was pretty drunk that night, so I don’t really remember much, maybe you should ask my brother, I’m sure he must have a clue” she said.
” where is your brother now? ” I asked.
” at home, he doesn’t have lectures today……..you can follow me home, I will give you a ride” she offered.
” I’d really like that…….thank you very much ” I said.
” you’re welcome…….I’d like to help find those people anyways” she said.
” thank you very much ” I said.
” you’re welcome…….c’mon enter” she said and I entered then she ignited the car and drove off.
