FINAL MISSION

Desmond’s POV
.
As she drove out of the compound I looked back to see if we are being followed but I see no one.
” Damn that hurt?” I said.
” what the hell, you’re not bleeding ” she said surprised.
” yeah, I’m not ” I replied.
” are you an alien?……cause I saw you got shot” she said.
” yeah…..the vest took it ” I said showing her the bulletproof vest.
” woww…..you came prepared ” she said.
” yeah…….i can’t complete the mission if I’m dead” I replied.
” so where to cause we can’t go back to our apartment ” she said.
” yeah…….i know a place but first we need to ditch this car” I said.
” sure” she said and she keep driving.
She drove for a while till we reached a place then get down and board a taxi to my first apartment.
” this is your place? ” she asked as we entered.
” yeah……it’s the first place I got” I said.
” cool ” she said then punched me very hard on the face and I fall to the ground.
” WHAT THE H£LL” I shouted at her.
” you used me…..you f*****g used me” she said grabbing my shirt.
” will you calm down” I said.
” calm down?…….i nearly got killed back there” she said.
” look, all I did I did for a reason” I said.
” I don’t care what your reasons are, it’s not enough for what you did” she said.
” you made look like a fool, I told you how I felt about betrayal and that’s what you used for your stupid plan ” she said.
” look I did that is because I’ve also taken so much risk for me to get to where I am now”
” I’ve been threatened but I pull through, I’m not sure about you or the kind of person you are…….you came out when I’m almost done with my plan, and I can’t let anyone ruin that ”
” so all that time with us together it’s also part of the plan…… you’re playing me” she said.
” look, I have my doubts that you might be telling the truth……which bring us to my other plan”
” incase you’re not working with them…….it will help me divert their attention and suspicion away from me so I can do my job well” I said to her.
” you gambled with my life, what if he actually kill me right there……..i would’ve been dead with your crazy plan ” she said and I draw closer.
” I’m sorry okay………i really am” I said holding her hands.
” you’re lucky your crazy plan works if Not you have no idea the ways I’ve thought of killing you” she said and I smiled.
” I’m also glad it did……..Now I finally can home ” I said sitting on the couch and I notice she make an expression.
” hey what’s wrong?” I asked.
” I don’t think our mission here is done” she said and I was confused.
” what are talking about?……..our target is eliminated along with his sidekick…….that’s our mission” I said.
” yeah I know……but they aren’t the only one, I’ve you heard about Nikolai Polovski” she asked.
” yeah……the colonel told me about him, he’s a powerful Russian Mafia ” I said.
” he also has some portion of the product with him which he’s shipping to Africa, not only that but along with some toxic and lethal drugs as well” she said.
” so what are you saying?” I asked.
” we have to stop him” she said.
” No no no…….that’s not our mission, we have our order…….doing this will be disobeying direct orders” I said.
” I thought you said you don’t care about orders?” she asked.
” look I understand what you meant……..just like you said he’s a powerful Russian Mafia, taking him down won’t be that easy, we don’t even have any weapons” I said.
” I still have some explosive at my place….I was also given when coming here” she said.
” Getting in will be a problem ” I said.
” I’ve been there before, he knew me and I can get us entry” she said and I sighed deeply.
” it’s alright if you don’t want to do it besides you’ve completed your mission” she said.
” I thought you don’t want to die……why are you doing this?” I asked and she smiled.
” I have to find a way to stop them all…….if I’m cleaning a mess I always make sure I wipe it clean ” she said.
” fine……how do we do this?” I asked.
” you and I will go over to his house as a guest ” she said.
” are you serous at all…….you know he’ll kill us for what we did” I said.
” he doesn’t know we are the one ” she said.
” and how do you know that……we will be going to face our death” I said.
” only a few people know about Nikolai Polovski, I’m one one of them, Mr Jackson and Zaza are dead, then the last person died two months ago……so we are safe” she said.
” this is risky and dangerous, going against a Russian Mafia ” I said.
” we can pull this off, you can add it to one of your achievement” she said.
” Alright then……let’s do this” I said.
” we are going by tomorrow evening when it will be dark for us to accomplish the task, I’ll meet with Mr Polovski and eliminate him while you set explosive everywhere around the place” she said.
” how many explosives do you have?” I asked.
” Enough to get the mission done” she said.
” you know the place will be guarded…….we won’t have enough time to set it……..unless……..” I said then went to my bag.
” unless what? ” she asked then I bring out my favorite toy.
” is that what I think it is?” she asked.
” An E.M.P device to help the cause” I said.
” that’s great……it will make it more successful ” she said.
” After this……..I’m done, I’m going back home” I said.
” that’s the plan……..and don’t you dare change it, you can’t do that again, don’t pull any crazy stunt” she warned sternly.
” c’mon….. You don’t have to worry” I replied grinning.
” I hope so cause if you do, I might just kill you by myself ” she said.
” I’m not that easy to kill” I said then she started undressing.
” what are doing?……are you seducing me?……just like you did last time” I said and she gawk at me.
” don’t flatter yourself, I need to shower…..and I didn’t seduce you last time…. you took advantage of me” she said.
” you’re not serious…….should I come with you? ” I asked.
” come and die” she said then went to the bathroom.

(NEXT DAY)

Agent Mackerel went back to her place to get the explosives and we are to leave for Mr Polovski at sunset.
She returned with the weapons later in the evening and we started preparing to leave.
” I’m wearing this today ” she said referring to the bulletproof vest.
” That’s mine” I said.
” Not anymore, this is what I get for using me” she said.
” seriously ” I said as she put on the vest.
” Don’t get killed okay” she said.
” let’s go and finish this ” I said then we went out and entered the car she brought.
She ignited the drove off to Mr Polovski residence, it took about an hour and half later before we reached the place.
The sun is down and it getting dark and I see the mansion which is bigger than that of Mr Jackson’s.
She drove to the gate and the guard came to check and she roll down the glass.
” Privet (Hello)” she said.
” Privet, Kak by? (hello, how are you?)” the guard said.
” ya v poryadke ( I’m fine), Ya zdes’, chtoby uvidet’ mistera Polovski ( I’m here to see Mr Polovski)” she said.
” ladno……preuspevat’ (okay, go ahead) ” the guard said then he signalled to another guard and they opened the gate.
” you speak Russia” I said.
” I’ve been here for almost a year, i have to know it if I want to be a spy” she replied as she drove into the compound.
She parked the car in front of the building, and she took the pistol gun and hid it and also take the EMP device.
” that’s the warehouse over there, you know what to do” she said.
” copy that ” I replied.
” you will get the signal when I’m in” she said.
” yeah….” I said then she opened the door.
” heyy……don’t die, okay” I said.
” why?……don’t tell me you care about me already” she said grinning.
” Nonsense, I only said that so I won’t have to give the colonel a bad news ” I said and she smiled.
” you’re crazy…….I’ll be back” she said then closed the door and made her way straight into the house.
I rolled down the glass and look all over the warehouse which is just like Mr Jackson’s but bigger.
I scrutinized the place very well and noticed that there are not too many guards but the ones I saw are Armed.
The way they walk and carry theirself means they are not just any guards but trained one.
” let’s hope this go well” I said to myself.

Author’s POV

Agent Mackerel entered and met Mr Polovski sitting on the couch and he turned to her.
” good day, Mr Polovski ” she said and she entered.
” what are you doing here?” he asked.
” I came here to inform you about the attack at Mr Jackson’s house ” she said.
” do you know who’s behind it?” he asked.
” No……i was on an errand and when I got back I found out they were murdered ” she said.
She secretly bring out the EMP device and activate it which cause all electricity go off.

Desmond was waiting in the car and when the light blackout he grabbed the bag was went out of the car.
” Let’s do this ” he said then he moved toward the warehouse and avoid the guard all the way.
The darkness helped Desmond to move freely without being noticed but he made sure he doesn’t meet with anyone.
He started attaching the bomb on the building then he entered the warehouse.

” what’s wrong? ” agent mackerel asked As the light went off .
” I’m coming….. Let me find out” Mr Polovski said then he bring out his phone and called one of his men.
? ” hello, what happen to the light?” he asked.
? ” we don’t know Sir……but we are working on it” the guard said.
? ” make it snappy ” he said then ended the call.
Unknowingly behind him agent mackerel already pulled out her dgger and she made to $tab him but instinctively he turned and grabbed her hand.
” B***h” he said then gave her a headbutt which sent her to the ground.
” you dare come to my house to kill me………..I’ll kill you first ” he said then draw closer to her.
She made to $tab him again but he grabbed her hand again and punch her hard which cause her nose to bleed.
She pulled out her gun and made to shoot him, he quickly dodged it and the bullet miss him.
He kick the gun away from her then push her to the ground, he went to pick his own gun and shoot her three times on the chest and she fell down.
” Die……b***h” he said then turned to the door.
” GUARD” he shouted.

Desmond was still planting the bomb when he heard a gunshot and he stopped immediately.
” uh uh…… That’s not the plan ” he said then he hurried up with it and left the warehouse.
Just as he came out one of the guard saw him then he ran away from their immediately.
The guard started shooting at him and when Desmond got the chance he also pulled out his gun and shoot back at him.
The rest of the guard came directly to the sound of the gun, Desmond manage to run away from his position.
They followed him only for them to be killed one after the other and they keep coming.

As Mr Polovski shoot agent mackerel, she noticed that she wasn’t injured all thanks to the bulletproof.
” dmn this thing is good” she thought then stood up immediately, as Mr Polovski saw her he shoot at her.
She quickly hide behind the chairs and pick up her gun and shoot back at him.
Mr Polovski continue shooting till he ran out of bullet and begin to look for another cartridge.
When agent mackerel notice this she came out of hiding and pointed the gun at him then shoot him on the head.
As she went out of the house she saw the guards running toward the door then she quickly ran back.
She look for a way out then she went to the kitchen and came out from the window.
Some guards saw her and they started shooting at her, she use the pole as cover and she shoot back at them.
She was able to kill them then she proceed and started running across the place and she met with Desmond.
” Is it set?” she asked.
” yeah” he replied then handed the detonator to her.
” listen, they are too many for us to take down” he said.
” so what are you suggesting?” she asked.
” we need to split up, that’s the only way we can escape ” Desmond said.
” okay then let’s meet back at your place” she said.
” yeah……. NOW” he said then she pressed the detonator.
Gbooooooaaarr……………………..
The place exploaded and they ran out of hiding, the explosion startled the guard which gave the agent and Desmond opportunity to shoot them unnoticed.
The two of them separated which cause the guard to divide themselves and pursue after them.
Agent Mackerel ran and shoot at them at the same time till she reached the gate.
She reached the gate and luckily all the guards are not there which gave her an opportunity ran away.
The guards continue shooting at her till she was able to stopped a cab and the cab took off.

Desmond is still in the compound looking for a way out then he saw a tree at the far end of the compound.
He climbed the tree to the other side and he jumped down then he ran away till he reached the main road.
For him not to be suspected he stopped running and keep walking gently then a police car pulled right in front of him.
He was surprised and he made to turn back and he saw two more officers pointing a gun at him.
” Halt……your hands where I can see them” they said and he stopped.
” I didn’t do anything officer……..I’m not a criminal, you’ve got the wrong person ” Desmond said raising his hands.
” we’ll see about that ” one of the officers said then searched his body only to find the pistol gun.
” You’re not a criminal….huh,…what’s this?” the officer said then twisted his hand backwards.
Desmond tried to struggle with them and they all pointed their guns at him then Desmond remembered that he’s not wearing bulletproof.
” you’re not that fast” another officer said then the first one handcuffed then they put him in their car and drove off to the station.

Unknown POV

I was on my way home when my phone started ringing, at first I don’t want to pick but when I saw that it’s from Russia I had to pick it.
? ” hello detective ” I said.
? ” Hello sir…….we have him” the officer said.
? ” you say what?” I asked surprised.
? ” we have the man in our custody ” he said and I smiled.
? ” are you sure?” I asked again to confirm.
? ” Affirmative Sir” he replied.
? ” that’s good detective, thank you” I said.
? ” it’s nothing Sir ” he replied.
? ” well you know what to do, I’ll be there very soon” I replied.
? ” alright Sir ” he replied.
? ” okay detective…….. Thank you” I said then I ended the call.

” wowww……i can’t believe they actually did it”
When they told they lost him yesterday I was very angry, i knew the man can be very smart which make it difficult but now it’s time for phase two.
I think it’s time I show myself.
