“Babe,” Elizabeth called, kssing Haris softly, and Noah quickly turned his face away.
He was still trying to get over his feelings for him, and it’s kind of hard, but he’s already met someone.
“Where’s Evelyn?” Martin asked impatiently.
“Calm down, Martin. I’m sure she’ll be here soon,” Cole said.
“So I was just thinking, what if it were your wedding day? You’d be dmn impatient because all you’d want is for the wedding to be over so you could be intimate with her,” James said, and everyone burst into laughter, while Martin just glared at them.
“Seriously, James, how does my sister put up with you?” Cole said, still laughing.
The hotel was the most expensive in New York City, and it was currently filled with many people.
“Here she comes,” Charlotte said, making them turn around to look at her. Their eyes widened immediately upon seeing her.
“Darn it. My bestie is an angel on earth,” Haris said. Martin couldn’t say anything as he just kept staring at Evelyn with his mouth wide opened.
“Close your mouth, dude, a fly might get in,” James said, and they all burst into laughter again, making him embarrassed.
Evelyn chuckled and moved closer to him.
He still couldn’t move. All he could do was stare at her.
She was dressed in a short pink bob sleeveless gown that exposed her thighs.
The makeup was light though, but it suited her perfectly. Her hair was styled up with a few designs, making her look like a queen.
“Your beauty is…is out of this world,” He stuttered, still staring at her, and Evelyn blushed.
“Thanks. Do you want to take this gown off tonight?” Evelyn whispered, biting her lips seductively, and Martin gulped down.
“Don’t play with fire, babe.”
“I’m not. Don’t you want to?”
“Hmmm, guys, we are still here,” James yelled, and Evelyn chuckled.
“You guys can’t keep teasing us this way. I should have brought my girlfriend along,” Liam said, pouting his lips, and everyone laughed.
“Hmmm, so the party is about to start,” the MC said, and everyone clapped in excitement.
“Sister,” she heard that familiar cute voice called, and she turned around to see her parents and Martin’s parents.
“Sister,” Ava called and hugged her tightly, and she reciprocated immediately.
“Happy birthday, best sister in the whole wide world,” she said, and handed her a little box, making everyone smile.
“This girl is just so cute,” Cole said.
“Awwn, cutie, thank you,” Evelyn kssed her forehead.
“Open it now. I want to see your reaction when you see my gift,” Ava said, looking down.
“She wouldn’t tell us what she got.” Her mother said, and Evelyn stared at Martin, who just shrugged his shoulders.
She opened it slowly, only to see a hairpin and a crop top.
“Oh my goodness,” she covered her mouth.
The hairpin was so pretty, and at the back of the top was written, “Happy Birthday, Best Sister.”
“Ava,” Evelyn called, tears flowing down from her eyes.
