“Oh God, what’s wrong with me?I feel like my head is going to pop out of my body!”
My head got even worse as I tried to sit up on the bed and I felt kind of dizzy. Just one look, and i knew i was in Jays room. I was really struggling to open my eyes.
“Hey sky, are you okay?”Jay asked as he came to sit beside me in bed.
“What happened? I feel like I was just run over by a bus!” I asked.
“Well…. that’s what you call a hang over. You drunk yourself silly at the party, and that’s what you get.Take this it will help with your head, ” he said handing me a glass of water and some pain killers.
Just the mention of the party and everything came rushing back to me .I still don’t understand how just one drink could have knocked me out!
“I only had one drink, I don’t understand how I got Uncouncious, but one thing am sure of though is that am never drinking again. ”
“Who gave you the drink sky? ”
“Jim did, why? do you think he did something to the drink? “I asked really confused.
What if he rapped me? but am a vrgn if he did shouldn’t I be feeling sore or something?
But I feel fine. I pushed those thoughts out of my head before I started to freak out.
“I don’t know, but something seems fishy and am going to find out exactly what happened, ” Jay said.
“I don’t think he did anthing , anyway
how did I get here, and where is Serena? ”
“Jim took you to his guest room after you fainted, and when I found you I brought you here.I didn’t want your dad to see you in that state. Serena spent the night at Jim’s, but now she’s home safe. Am sorry about yesterday, ” he said as he watched me take the medicine, and later on took the glass from my hand.
“I don’t want to talk about it, “I said as i got out of bed, I need to take a shower before your parents see me like this.”
I was still feeling dizzy.
“No one is here ,but us, my parents went out for lunch. ”
“Wait what?! how long have I being sleeping Jay? ”
“Am not exactly sure how long, but its almost two in the afternoon,” he said standing in front of me.
“Okay then, I’ll go home,and take a shower, ” I said as i turned to leave. The fact that we were alone in his house was already making me nervous as h’ll!
As I was about to reach the door Jay caught my arm ,his fingers loose as if he was afraid of hurting me. He took a step forward so close that I could feel the heat of him from behind me.
As I turned, and tried to walk past him he pressed a hand against the wall barring my path with one arm.
“We have to talk, I won’t let you ran away today, ” he said as his other hand slapped against the wall and now I was completely trapped.
“I don’t think now is the right time Jay. ”
“Please Sky, I just want us to sought things out, ” he whispered holding my gaze.
He shifted one hand to smooth over my hair and his hand landed on my arm. The heat from his touch skated up my arm and down my spine. The ache spread all over my body and I was really trying my best not to slid my arms around his neck and kss the h’ll out of him!
Jay was just looking at me taking in my reaction.
“OK let’s talk, ” I said as i pressed my palms against his chest, but instead of pushing him away my fingers clenched his shirt.
Jay tensed for a moment, and then moved suddenly, taking my hand and sat on the bed.
He gestured for me to join him, but I wasn’t sure my hormones could handle the extra pressure so I stayed standing.
“Please don’t stay mad at me. Am sorry about what happened, I promise I won’t interfere with whatever you have going on with Chris if you forgive me, “he said drawing circles around my arm which he was still holding.
Taking a deep breath i sat down beside Jay and leaned on his shoulder.
“Am not mad at you. I know you were just trying to look out for me, but please stop treating me like a child. I’d really appreciate that. ”
“Anything for you, ” he said kssing me on the forehead.
We stayed in that position for a few minutes, no one saying a thing. The room was filled with a comfortable silence, and it really felt real nice.
Am going to Jim’s house for rehearsal at five, would you like to join me?” he asked breaking the silence.
“I would love that, but not today. I still feel like shit! and I don’t want to be a bother.”
“Come on Sky, you will have the whole night to rest and you know you are my musical inspiration. ”
“Are you sure it’s not MJ? I mean you have pictures of him all over your room and you are always praising him, “I asked shoving him playfully.
“Okay you got me, “he said smiling lightly. “MJ is obviously my musical inspiration but you are my life’s inspiration. ”
“What does that mean? ”
“It mean that I can’t live without you sky, you are the best friend I ever had, ” he said his hand pushing my hair away. His touch was so sparkly.
“No…you are the best friend ever, and speaking of which I got you a present, ” I said reaching into my pocket and pulling out two Stainless Steel bracelets with the words “Jay and sky friends forever ” written on them.
I was supposed to give it to him last night, but we all know what happened.
“Wow they are so beautiful, “he said studying them.
“Yes, one is for you and the other for me. I want this to be a symbol of our friendship. Promise me you’ll never take it off, ” I said putting it on his wrist and the other on mine.
“I promise, “he said giving me a quick, but tight hug.
“We’ll be debuting our song next Saturday. We have already booked a theatre and the concert is already sold out, I hope you are still coming.”
“Of course, I wouldn’t miss it for any reason. You know am your number one fan, “I told him winking at him.
“I know that for sure, ” he said his lips lifting a bit in a sexy smirk. He looks so $exy right now and I sigh taking the sight of him in.
“Okay… I have to go now, I will see you later, ” I said before I started day dreaming about him.
“Can’t you just stay a little longer, ” he said as he slumped on the bed taking me with him my head lying on his chest.
“I can’t right now, I have to take a shower and sleep some more, “I said getting up from the bed.
I really wanted to, but I don’t trust myself with him right now. I had already controlled my emotions for far to long, I couldn’t do it anymore .
“Okay then, I’ll walk you out, “Jay said taking my hand leading the way.
He took me straight to my house and left me on my porch after giving me a hug. As soon as i was inside the house the door bell rang and I rushed to open thinking it was Jay.
Maybe he forgot to tell me something….
When I opened the door someone grabbed me, his arm wrapping around my stomach, and another came around to cover my mouth. He took me to a black minivan and pushed me in roughly. The car was already driving away before i could register what was happening. There were two guys in the van and their faces were covered. One was beside me and the other was driving ,fast!
What’s happening?
Am i being kidnapped?!
“Who are you and what do you want from me? Help me….!” I screamed as I tried to open the door, and the windows to no avail.
The guy beside me came towards me pulling me to him and covered my nose, and mouth with a white cloth.
“No stop, please let me go, ” I said trying to kick and push him away from me, but he was to strong. All noise began to fade as i felt my strength drifting away from me slowly until I was unconscious.
