Daria’s heart was beating very fast, she wondered what the man was going to say to her.
Gosh! She knew that she messed up everything, apart from the fact that she was in a mess, she also has a bad breath, she forgot to wash her mouth in a hurry.
“Well he isn’t all that bad.”, she admired as she followed him to wherever he was taking her.
She was more happy when he maintained his distance at least she wouldn’t be so embarrassed.
“We will take care of the mess max caused.”, He said with a cold expression.
“No it’s okay, I can manage.”, She said lowly, trying to act cool.
“Okay if you say so.”, Finn replied and her eyes widened.
“What? I can’t leave this place looking like this, why did I even refuse his help? Gosh! I’m so stupid.”, she said bitterly in her mind.
“If you want to help me then I will accept your help.”, She added and Finn only scoffed.
“Why are you here? Did you come looking for a job?”, He said and she nodded.
“Can’t you talk?”, He said raising his voice a bit.
“Yes.”, She replied like a whisper.
“And you are coming when the interview is over? I see you take work really serious.”, He said.
“You shouldn’t judge people like that, you didn’t even ask why I am late … What if some urgent came up?”, Daria said and Finn crossed his hand across his chest.
“What came up if I may ask?”
He asked and Daria only kept mute, well she really has no sensible reason.
“If you are given any work will you accept?”, He asked and daria quickly nodded.
“Of course, I am desperately in need of money.”, She said inwardly.
“Work as my son’s nanny.”, He said and her eyes widened.
“What? Nanny?”, She forcefully repeated.
“I think you are making a mistake here, I didn’t come to apply as a nanny, I came to apply for secretary job.”, She said unable to digest what the handsome man in front of her was saying.
“You can work as my secretary and also a nanny, your work as a nanny will resume after my son closes from school.”, He explained and Daria just looked at him confused.
“What was the man talking about? Why would he want to employ someone that hurt his son as his nanny?”
“Secretary and Nanny? I can’t … I don’t understand, I can’t do the work of a nanny, I don’t like kids.”, She shuttered.
“I will pay you double the amount of secretary and Nanny job.”, He said desperately and Daria saw it.
She saw the desperation in his eyes and she melted but still …. A nanny job? Wouldn’t it require her to live with them?
“You are the prefect person for the job, I will pay double.”, He said and she was lost in thoughts for a while.
“For how long will that be?”, She asked.
“Let’s talk about that later, I haven’t thought of that. Are you agreeing to the job?”, He asked and she nodded.
“Do you stay alone? Do you stay with your parents?”, He asked.
“I think it would be better if I say I say I stay alone, I must be making kady so uncomfortable. Leo living with her is enough trouble.”, She thought.
“No I stay alone, I don’t have any relative, I am alone.”, She lied and he nodded.
“Then you can stay with me. You work as my secretary once Max goes to school and a nanny once he comes back, are you in?”, He asked.
“I don’t know if …!”
“I promise to double the pay, if you think the money won’t be enough.”, He cut in sharply.
“I am in.”, Daria said Finn nodded.
“All thanks to that kid, i have a job now.”, Daria said screaming in her mind.
“They will be arriving with another dress, I apologize for what my son did once again.”, Finn said and Daria nodded.

“I just asked you to stay calm for just few hours that I will be away, is that so hard for you?”, Finn yelled.
“Why did you refuse to go to school today?”, He asked but max said nothing.
He just huffed angrily, there was no way he was going to talk to his dad.
“Max I know that you don’t want me in your life but I am the only one you have, why don’t we try to get along?”, He said squatting beside him as he placed his right hand on his head but Max moved away.
“You still not going to talk to me huh?”, Finn asked getting on his feet.
“You have a new nanny now and it’s the lady you had spoken to rudely earlier, she will be resuming tomorrow.”, Finn announced and max turned to his dad sharply.
“You are joking right?”
“Do I look like I am joking here with you? She will also be staying with her, I hope you both get along.”, He said as he brought out his phone on his pocket to read a message he just had just received.
“What? Dad!!! She ….!”
“It’s for the best max.”, He replied and Andy entered the office.
“Andy?”, Finn called surprised.
“Hey Finn! Hey max! I have missed you guys.”, She said as she went to hug them one after the other but max pushed her away.
“What are you doing here?”, Finn asked and Andy just rolled her eyes.
“Don’t think that I will give up on you do easily, I gained your love with so much effort and now I can’t let that go to a waste.”, She said.
“Isn’t it so obvious that my dad doesn’t do ladies like you?”, Max said and Andy raised her eye brows.
“And what do you mean by ladies like me?”, She asked.
“Senseless, cheap and ugly.”, He answered and Andy clenched her fist.
“Max apologize to her now.”, Finn demanded and mad stubbornly looked away.
He can apologize for something else but to apologize to Andy? He would rather die.
“I am not apologizing to your so called girlfriend, she can’t replace mom and I will never accept her.”, He said and walked out.
“Max!”, From yelled but he was already gone.
“Why are you even here? I already said that we should break up.”, He said trying not to vent his anger on her.
“I missed you Finn, you know that I …”
“Please just leave before I drag you out.”, He said trying to control himself but Andy being the adamant girl she was refused.
“I know how much you love me, you can’t possibly drag me out.”, She said sitting down.
“Don’t try me Andy!”, He said with a serious face but Andy just ready to listen.
“I dare you Finn.”, She said and he wasted no time in dragging out of the office.
Andy was beyond shocked when Finn dragged her from the office and shut the door.
She couldn’t even close her mouth due to the shock.
If she was told that Finn would treat her that way, she wouldn’t believe it.

“Why don’t you just tell me what has been making you smile so much?”, Leo asked looking at his sister suspiciously.
She has been smiling ever since she returned from Carter’s company.
“Just wait for kady to come, let me tell you both.”, She said.
“Come-on just tell me already, I am really curious.”, Leo said pouting but Daria wasn’t going to listen.
“Could it be that you have a boyfriend now? But that’s not possible…. No one would want to date someone like you.”, He said.
“Hey! What is wrong with me? Why wouldn’t someone want to date me?”, She yelled.
“The CEO of the company I applied for asked me out today, so why do you think I can’t have a boyfriend?”, She said.
“I doubt that, I mean … Who in his right mind would choose someone like you of all people, I am talking as a male.”, He said and Daria hit his head.
“He really asked me out, do you think I am lying?”, She yelled.
“Yes I think you are lying.”, He replied bluntly.
“I will prove it to you.”, She said.
“Yes prove it.”, He replied and kady entered.
“Gosh! You two behave like kids.”, Kady complained.
“Daria claim to have an admirer… The CEO of the company she applied for.”, Leo said and he and kady both burst into laughter.
“You all go on and laugh, I will prove it to you all”, Daria said pained.
“Tell us whatever you want to tell us.”, Leo said when he finally finished making jest of his sister.
Daria told them about her secretary and Nanny job.
“Nanny?”, Leo and kady said in unison.
Leo and kady looked at each other and they burst into another round of laughter.
“You are so funny.”, Leo said.
“Oh I have to rest, I just returned from work.”, Kady said walking away.
“Guys I am really serious, I will be resuming tomorrow.”, She said and they looked at her again to see if she was really telling the truth or not.
“You …nanny? You dislike kids so much or have you suddenly developed a likeness?”, Kady said.
“She would always maltreat me when we were younger and now you suddenly become a Nanny, I pity that kid though.”, Leo said and Daria eyes him.
“Whatever! I will be leaving this house tomorrow and resuming my work.”, She said.
“You of all people? I don’t believe it”, Leo asked and kady agreed with him.
“Anyways I will be upstairs, I am too tired.”, Kady said and left.
“Leo I am serio…!”
“I have to read too.”, Leo said and followed kady.
“You guys don’t believe me right? I might hate children but I can change right?”, He said after them.
“They are just so impossible.”, she said and hissed.
