“You wouldn’t dare!”
“Try me kid!!!”, She said abruptly.
Max looked at her with so annoyance and hatred.
“Do Whatever you want, I will never do whatever you want me to do.”, He said and slammed the door at her.
“So stubborn!”, She said as she carried his hand gadgets to hide it.

Leo just sat on the couch pressing his phone. He was yet to notice that his dear sister was gone.
“Where’s your sister?”, Kady asked as she collapsed on another couch.
“I don’t know … Maybe she still went in search of a job.”, He replied and he received a message from Daria.
It was pictures of a big house.
“Why did she send this tho?”, Leo asked showing kady and she just shrugged uninterested.
“Leo would you know how if one of your employees has a thing for you?”, Kady asked and Leo just shook his head not ready to listen to kady.
“Just get over your one sided love on someone who doesn’t deserve it.”, He says d and she hissed.
“Is that the best advice you can give?”
“Either confess to him or get over him,,, it’s that’s simple.”, He said.
“You know nothing about love… Love is …!”, Kady was still saying.
“Jeez! Living with girls comes with a lot of patience.”, He cut in and she just rolled her eyes.

Finn checked his wrist watch and it was past 10 pm.
He has been busy preparing for his presentation and after that he was going to have a meeting with his superiors.
Finn checked his wrist watch worried, he was worried about how Max was faring especially with his new Nanny.
He quickly brought out his phone to call Daria.
“Mr cater no phone calls till we are done with the meeting.”, One of his superiors said and he placed the phone in his pocket and sighed.
After a few minutes, Finn couldn’t hold it anymore. He just couldn’t stop worrying about his son.
“I’m sorry but I really need to leave now, it’s late already.”, Finn said interrupting the meeting and everyone looked at him surprised.
“Mr Carter you aren’t the only one with a kid to take care of, you shouldn’t let your personal life get into your business.”, Someone said.
“But I’m the only single dad right? Y’all have wives taking care if your children whenever you aren’t around but mine is different. It’s already late.”, He said.
“Mr Carter …”
“I’m not asking for permission, I am only informing you. I hope you all understand.”, He said and left .

Daria had managed to stay awake late, she doesn’t stay up late but she was just curious of when Finn would be back.
She started dozing off already on the couch but when she heard a sound from outside, she jerked up immediately.
Immediately Daria opened the door, Finn flinched immediately.
“Welcome back Mr Finn.”, She greeted.
“W—why do you look like that?”, He asked and she touched her face.
“How?”, She asked and he just ignored her.
“How’s max? Are you two getting along?”, He asked.
“I don’t think so, he hates me and I guess the feeling is mutual.”, She muttered the last part.
“What?”
“Nothing!”, She added.
“Get some sleep, you look scary.”, Finn said and left for his room.
“Huh! I look scary? Gosh! I can’t believe I stayed awake just for him to tell me that I look scary.”, She said as she sluggishly dragged her foot to het room.

Dinning table
Helen already set everything on the dining table and max was the first to come out for his breakfast.
He was already dressed and ready for school.
“Good morning max.”, Elena greeted with a big smile on her face but Max’s face still remained cold.
He didn’t even reply to her greetings.
“Mr Finn good morning!”, She greeted and he only nodded.
He was just busy on his iPad.
“You should eat more often max, you are becoming skinny.”, Finn said and he only looked away.
After they were done with their breakfast, they were leaving to leave and yet Daria hasn’t come out yet.
“Is this dress okay? I just want to look prefect, maybe from being his secretary, I could be his girlfriend.”, Daria said and giggled happily.
Then suddenly she heard a knock.
“Going d morning Daria.”, Helen greeted and she replied.
“Mr Finn said that you should find your way to the office since you want to take all day dressing and he also said that you have to get to the office before him if he ends up leaving you behind.”, Helen said and Daria couldn’t pack her things.
She didn’t realize that she had spent so much time dressing up.
She rushed to the dinning table and picked a slice of bread and she rushed out.
“Move to the gate, let her run all the way there.”, Finn commanded and the driver did as he was told.
“Seriously? Is this a sort of t®rture or what?”, She thought as she managed to run in her heels.
“You should have taken your time to dress well since we are heading towards a party.”, Finn said to Daria as she entered the front seat and max only laughed at her.
“I’m sorry Mr Finn.”, She said lowly.
“Yeah! You should.”, Max replied.
“Max!”, Finn called warning him.

Carter’s company
After handling all the works, Finn had given her. She just hoped that Finn would even pity her and ask her to go on a break to have her breakfast.
“You still need to review all of these, when you are done, I still need to look at it very well to make sure there are no errors.”, He said and Daria sighed sadly.
She really doesn’t joke with food.
“Hey bro!”, Olive said as he just entered without knocking.
“I think a little privacy would do, I would really appreciate that.”, Finn said and he laughed.
“Hi I’m Oliver, hour boss’best friend.”, He introduced himself to Daria.
“Nice meeting you, I’m daria.”, She simply said taking his handshake.
She tried removing her hand from his but his wasn’t ready to let go, Oliver just stared at Daria and she wondered what was going on with him.
“You are beautiful.”, He added and her eyes widened.
“Huh!”
She just looked at him not knowing what to say, no one has ever told her that before.
Was he interested in her? Daria’s heart started beating very fast.
“Oliver! She’s still my employee, you can continue after work hours. There are many things to cover.”, Finn said seeing how the both of them just stare at each other.
Finn has learnt that love wasn’t going to take him anywhere, he was just going to love his son and his job.
At least his job was the main thing distracting him from thinking of his first love, Elise.
“Daria you are free to have a boyfriend but keep it out if work please, you can get back to work now, please work on those papers as soon possible.”, He said and she nodded.
“You are way too fast Oliver, you should take things slow.”, Finn advised.
“Look who’s advising, I think she also likes me, she looked flustered when I told her that she is beautiful.”, Oliver said happily.
“You are ¢razy.”, Finn said.
“I know.”, He replied and they laughed.
“Since you are here, you should help me with some things.”, Finn said.
“Arrgh!!! You are so annoying.”, He said grumpily.
