Mike got more angrier pun ching the man incessantly then unlocked his shackles and throw him to the ground.
” How dare you?….You think this is a joke?” Mike said then started kicking and pun ching him.
” Tell me who you’re working for?”
” Tell me now” Mike shouted at him but the man didn’t flinch which cause Mike to bring out his gun.
” I’ve told you everything I know” the guy said then the deputy chief entered the room.
” Agent Rolland, that’s enough……you can come outside” he said.
” I still haven’t gotten my answer from him” Mike replied.
” I think that’s enough for today” he said then Mike holstered his gun back.
The deputy chief went out and Mike stared back at the guy on her the ground then he also went out.
Immediately he came out the senator went to him angrily and slapped him hard on the face.
” You devll”
” You this conniving ba$tard” he gnarled.
” Senator, I’m sorry about what happened to your daughter and I’m going to catch this criminals” Mike said.
” Enough with your evil games….. your evil deeds have been revealed”
” I’ll make sure you pay dearly for this…..you will never get away from this” the senator said.
” What!, You can’t possibly believe what man said……… it’s clear he’s trying to implicate me”
” Trust me, The man is lying………..it makes no sense ”
” Why will I be looking for Peruzad if I’m Peruzad?” Mike asked.
” Or perhaps you’re trying to divert our focus away from you” the chief said.
” C’mon, chief…..you can’t possibly believe anything coming from a criminal, this is incriminating” Mike said.
” Is it?, Rolland, he’s not the only one who testify that you’re Peruzad?” The chief said and he looked surprised.
” What are you talking about?” Mike asked.
” You crazy ba$tard, you sent your men to my house and threatened my family” the senator said.
” Your men told me you’re Peruzad, and threatened to kill my family if I don’t give them the device” he said.
” What device?” Mike asked.
” Oh please, stop playing this stupid game already..and face the reality” the senator said.
” All we know is that the device is dangerous Mike, you have to return it Mike” the Chief said.
” I’M NOT PERUZAD AND I DON’T HAVE ANY DEVICE…” Mike shouted.
” Watch your tone agent” the chief said then Mike turned to the senator.
” So you have this dangerous device with you and when I asked if you have anything they want…….you refused to tell me”
” This is your fault…….I was trying to save your daughter and you even put her in more danger” Mike said.
” I was told not to let anyone know about it but it turns out you already knew which is why you’re asking about it”
” My daughter told me you keep asking and pressing about something in my possession” the senator said.
” Did you? Agent” the chief asked.
” I was trying to protect them…….I don’t know what this Peruzad is planning and whatever it is…..”
” It’s definitely working” Mike said.
” Enough with your bullsht”
” If anything happens to my daughter I promise you…….you will be dead as well.
” I’ll make you pay dearly” the Senator said.
” You’re wrong Sir, if anything happens to your daughter……. it’s on you” Mike replied which angered him more.
” HOW DARE YOU?” He shouted.
” HOW DARE YOU TOO SIR?” Mike shouted back.
” Enough agent, Get in control of yourself” the deputy chief said.
” I can’t watch and have this man make threats and accused of this evil crime” Mike said.
” Rolland, you’re the one in the corner right now………”
” You’re the only one who learned about this Peruzad”
” You’re first to speak his name which mean we might as well be looking for a ghost when the person is right in front of us”
” The only lead we have and the only connection we have to Peruzad is you” the chief said.
” Chief, you can’t seriously be considering this………it makes no sense, I’m not Peruzad” Mike said.
” A big part of me wants to believe that but considering all these facts…..I don’t know what to believe anymore” the chief said.
” I hope you know what this means…….you have to be detained till we figure out what’s next” the chief said.
” Tender your gun and your badge” he requested then Mike handed him his gun.
” Lock him up, Mr Hassan” he said and the deputy chief went to him.
” I’m sorry Son” the deputy chief said and he took him away.
” I’m not done with you, I’ll make sure I ruin your life” the Senate said as they took him away.
” We have to get the device back from him…….we can’t let it fall into the wrong hands”
” We don’t know what he wants with it but whatever it is, lot of lives are at stake here” the senator said.
” We don’t know for sure if he is Peruzad but if he is…….we will surely get it back” the chief said.
” I do, I know he’s the one……I can tell it’s all of his plan” the Senator said then he left.

All the agents watched as Mike was taken to the private holding cell at the agency and was locked up.
” I’m not Peruzad Sir” Mike said to the deputy chief.
” I know you’re not and I believe but at this stage my hands are tied, there’s nothing I can do”
” Especially with the senator breathing down on our neck, which is why I’m putting a team together to fish out that ba$tard” he said.
” I have to get back out there, Peruzad have that device and if it’s as dangerous as claimed then we need to act fast” Mike said.
” Just stay here Mike while we work on it and I’m certain very soon…..he will be caught” the deputy chief assured.
” Okay sir”
” I’ll try to get more info from the guy you just interrogated” he said.
” Okay Sir” Mike replied then he left.
” Peruzad….. whoever you are, I’ll find you”

{Five Days Later}

Lara, Tony and Derrick are in a hidden apartment to protect themselves just like Mike suggested.
Both Tony and Derrick are getting better from the gunshot wound and Lara is there to take care of them.
” Guys, I’m worried about Mike………he said he will return five days ago and now we haven’t heard from him” Lara said.
” That’s true, Maybe he’s still in abroad” Tony said.
” I tried his two lines, none is going through and you know that’s not like him” Lara said.
” What should we do?” Derrick asked.
” I don’t know, If we leave this place we might as well be putting ourselves in danger” she said.
” Guys,……check this out” Tony called out pointing to the TV news which bears Mike’s picture.
” Turn up the volume” Tony said and Lara increase the volume.
? ” Five days ago, Lolita the Senate President’s daughter was attacked by some unknown terr©rist”
? ” She’s at the hospital fighting for her life and according to the authorities, Michael Rolland,…..”
? ” AKA Agent Hawk is the agent who was assigned to be her bodyguard turned out to be behind the attack”
? ” No report has been made to what reason he did that but right now investigation is ongoing”
? ” Right Now, the agent has been detained at the Federal agency as further Investigation will carried out”

” OhmyGod” Lara exclaimed.
” This is crazy……The got the wrong person” Tony said.
” This must be Peruzad’s handwork….. he’s making him the enemy, he’s framing him” Tony said.
” Who the he.ll is this man?” Lara said.
” What do we do guys?……we have to help him” Tony said.
” How do we start?…..the only way to vindicate him is to find out who this Peruzad is” Derrick said.
” How do we find him?…….the man is a ghost, where do we start from?” Lara said.
” Let’s get him out of that place?……we can find a way to break him out” Derrick suggested.
” How is that even possible?…..the place is crawling with agents” Tony said.
” Maybe, I should go to meet him……maybe he can give us a clue of how we can help him” Lara said.
” What about Peruzad?…..he could target you….you could be in danger” Derrick said.
” I’ll be fine, let’s just get a word from him…… I’ll go when it’s dark” Lara said.

Mike was in the cell thinking when someone came to the cell and it turned out to be agent Raven.
” Agent Raven, you’re back” Mike said.
” Yes Sir, I’m back but unfortunately I’m hearing some shocking about my partner” she said.
” Yeah, I’m hooked……. don’t tell me you believe that crap” Mike said.
” I don’t know what to believe, all evidence are pointing directly towards you” she said and Mike smiled.
” I can’t believe you too, then why are you at all…….. have you come to gloat?” Mike asked.
” I came so you can tell me the truth” she said.
” Why do you care?…..you believed them already….why do you care about what the truth is” Mike replied.
” I can’t help you if you don’t tell me the truth” she said.
” I don’t need your help Agent Raven……. I’ll get myself out…… you can leave now” he replied then she left.
Soon after Peter also came to give him his food.
” How are you holding up bud?” Peter asked.
” I’ve had worse….. I’ll survive” Mike replied collecting the food from him.
” Don’t worry man, most of the agents know you’re not Peruzad but there’s nothing we can do”
” The deputy chief already gather a few team together to go in search for Peruzad, soon he will be found” Peter said.
” Peruzad can’t be found that way…… he’s too clever for that” Mike replied then they started hearing murmuring from inside the agency.
” What’s going on?” Mike asked.
” Hold on, let me check it out” Peter said then he left and a while later he came back.
” What happened?” Mike asked.
” Weird thing just happened, all our systems are acting weird, none of them are working” Peter said.
” How is that possible?…… something is happening?” Mike said then immediately all the power went off.
” Huh, I’ll be back……I’m coming” Peter said then he ran off.

Mike knew this isn’t natural probably something or someone is tampering with all these.
He was pacing around the cell thinking then suddenly something came into his mind.
” System failure”
” Power outage, definitely an EMP”
” Ohhhhh fk, you got to be kidding me” Mike grumbled when the realization came to him.
” I should’ve known, there’s one man who loves to make this kind of crazy and dramatic entrance”
Then someone came to his cell and Mike turned to him and see the man he never thought he’ll be seeing anytime soon.
” I knew it” he said.
” Hello Son”
” Hi Dad”
