Desmond’s POV
.
Immediately I sat down and ordered for a drink at the bar, I saw the men following me a while ago.
They entered looking at me as I have my drink, I decided to ignored them and continue drinking.
Sometimes in other to get things done, you just have to stay still and do nothing, so I face front not to notify them.
There’s a mirror just behind the bartender and I can see them from there as they sat down.
I watched as they signalled to one of the girls dancing at the pole and the girl went running to them.
They are obviously discussing with her but I don’t know what they are talking about, it’s only a matter of time to find out.
I saw them giving something to the lady and she stood up from their laps and I watched as she came directly to me.
I smiled to myself that I’ll will be getting some answers very soon even without doing anything much.
” Hello sugar” the girl said as she got to me and sat on my lap.
” Sugar?…. wow, that’s sweet…. sugar is sweet” I replied smiling playing along with her as she started rubbing herself on me.
” Are you having any fun?” She asked se ductively.
” I’m having a beer, I think that’s fun” I replied.
” That’s no fun, there are several kinds of fun in Hell…..the one you can’t see from anywhere” she said.
” Is that so?”
” Yeah, and luckily for you today is your lucky day… you’re going to have it to the fullest” she said.
” Ohh Beauty….. I’m sorry I can’t cause I’m married” I said to her.
” That’s no New thing, infact those are the ones I love most and they are more experienced ” she replied.
” Why would you want an old man like me…..I don’t think I have the energy to handle you like the young ones ” I replied.
” I think you’ll do just fine and on the other hand I’ll be the one handling you, you are going to have a great time”
” Let me tell you a secret ” she said then draw closer to me and I looked at the mirror and see her putting something in my drink.
” I have a thing for older men infact I used to think of my own father” she whispered in my ears.
” You’re a dlrty girl” I said smiling at her and also wondering if she’s telling the truth.
” Of course, that’s my name……dirty Cindy” she said baring her expose brea$t to me then I decided to cut to the chase.
” How much?” I asked.
” I told you, today is your lucky day….why don’t I show you what I have to offer then we can talk of payment” she said.
” That’s not what I’m talking about, I mean how much did they pay you?” I asked again.
” They don’t pay us that much which is why we have to make sure our customers are well satisfied”
” Why don’t you have your drink then we can go on right away” she said then I draw closer to her.
” Perhaps I’m not being clear enough” I said.
I pulled out my gun making sure the guys don’t suspect anything then put it under her gown and she flinch.
” Yes that’s a gun and I’m very sure you’re aware of where I pointed it towards”
” Don’t play smart or try to scream of do anything crazy because I’ll hate to ruin the company”
” But if you decided to test me then you leave no choice…….is that clear?” I asked.
” Yes yes, please don’t shoot……. please I beg you” she pleaded.
” Good, I’m going to asked you again…..those guys at the corner….how much did they pay you to slip a drug in my drink?” I asked.
” T..they haven’t but.t…..they wanted to pay me 50 thousands” she replied frightenedly.
” 50 thousands, wow…..and you accepted without second thought…..you might as well be murderer” I said.
” I swear I’m not…… I’m not…. please don’t kill me” she begged looking so scared.
I looked at the mirror and saw the guys staring directly at our side unsure of what’s going on.
” Calm yourself and wipe your tears and tell me exactly what they told you” I said and she wiped her tears.
” They told me to slip a pill in your drink and take into one of the rooms, and that’s all” she answered.
” Okay, you and I will play along with them and you’ll take me to the room as expected” I said.
” And if you do anything stupid, I’ll kill you and I’ll kill them….. that’s a promise” I said and she nodded affirmative.
” Good” I said then pick the bottle and pretend to drink it as planned and a while later put up an act.
While I was acting drunk I glanced at the guys and see them smiling and they signalled to the girl to take me away.

I followed the girl to the room and the girl wanted to leave but I stopped her.
” Your Job is not done yet…..you will stay here an experience everything that will happen in this place” I said.
” Please let me go, I promise I won’t mention a word to a soul” she pleaded.
” This is price you pay for what you tried to do” I replied then I heard footsteps then laid back on the bed.
The guys came in and saw me sleeping on the bed and they started laughing hysterically.
” Girl, you did a great job with this man” one of the men said but the girl said nothing they noticed her behavior.
” What’s wrong?” One of them asked then I stood up from the bed and they looked shocked.
” WTF” they shouted then tried to pull out their gun but they aren’t fast enough as I started shooting at them.
One of them tried to rushed at me but I pun ched him right on the face before shooting him on the leg.
I killed four of them leaving just one alive for my answers, I turned to the girl and see her crying as she was covered in bl.ood.
” Please just let me go already” the girl pleaded.
” Not yet” I replied then went to the guy who was on the ground groaning in pain.
” Who the fk are you?” He cried out.
” Who I am shouldn’t be your concern at this moment but I’m more interested to know who you are” I replied.
” You’re crazy” he yelled.
” Yeah, I know” I replied then picked him up from the ground and put him on one of the chairs.
I tied him arms and legs to the chair and told the girl to locked the door which she obeyed.
” Thanks to the loud music playing outside, no one hear us in this room and exactly how won’t hear us when you start screaming” I said.
” No matter what you do to me, I don’t care and won’t say a word, I’d rather die before telling you anything” he said and I smiled.
” You know what, I love your courage and devotion, ready to die for the course no matter what” I said.
” But me on the other hand would love nothing but to know the truth and trust me I’ve got all day” I said bringing out my da.gger.
” I’m not scare of dying and I’m not saying anything” he staring directly at me.
” Look, I know lot of people like you…and I believe you will say nothing but there’s something we called pain”
” Pain can make people do what they never wanted to do, and me on the other hand……”
“….. Inflicting pain on people like you is my profession…..let me give you an insight” I said.
” I’ve always wondered how it’s like to be a but¢her so I’ll practice with you, I’m going to start cutting every part of your b©dy”
” Starting with your fingers one after the other then I’ll move to your toes then your tongue and you ears”
” I think you understand where I’m going with all these, I’m literally going to cut every piece of your part” I said.
” I don’t care whatever you do to me…… I’m not telling you a word, I’m telling nothing” he said bravely.
” Brave, I like that because by the time I’m done with you, you will have no choice but to spill the beans” I said then cut off his little flnger.
” Aaaaaaahhhhhhh” he screamed loudly.

{An Hour Later}

” Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh”
I was just cutting off his last finger on the left hand because I already chopped off the right part.
” Wow, you can surely endure pain……we are done with your fingers….now your toes” I said moving to his leg.
” Please just answer him already” the girl said to him.
” Don’t worry, he will talk he feels comfortable” I replied then cut off his littlest toe as well.
” Aaaaahhhh…..aahhhh’….aahhhhhhhhh, fine….. I’ll tell you…. I’ll tell you what I know” he cried out.
” That’s more like it, now to the question” I said then cut off the next toe making him screamed again.
” Fk you motherfr, you didn’t ask any question?” He shouted crying.
” I’m so sorry, I’m just trying to let you know that I really enjoyed doing this and won’t mind continue if you decided to waste my time”
” And don’t you dare lie or hold back on anything” I said.
” You’re a crazy old man” he said amidst pain.
” Yeah I know, now do tell, who is Peruzad?” I asked.
” I ….I… don’t know” he replied then I made an attempt to cut of the next toe.
” No no no no…….I swear to you I don’t know who he is…… please you have to believe me” he shouted.
” I’m sorry I don’t believe you” I replied.
” I swear on my mother’s grave….I don’t know him….. nobody does” he said and somehow I think he’s telling the truth.
” You expect me to believe you don’t know who you’re working for?” I said.
” I swear man, I don’t and that’s the truth……we only received a call or a message from them” he replied.
” Do you know the number?” I asked.
” It was a private number….. it’s an unknown number so we don’t know who he is” he answered.
” How did he approach you in the first place?” I asked.
” One of his men came here with a bag full of money offering us a job and asked if we’d like to work for Peruzad” he narrated.
” We didn’t think it twice before jumping for the job and started working for them” he concluded.
” The man that came to you……do you know him or recognize him?” I asked.
” It was here in this place and it was pretty dark so we don’t see him clearly and that was the last time we saw him” he replied.
” He collected all our contacts and since then we’ve been receiving information from there” he added.
” So you have no idea of who you’re working for or why you’re doing this?…. you’re just working blindly” I asked.
” We are just in it for the money” he replied.
” Then why are you so he.ll bent on dying for a course you know nothing about” I asked.
” That’s because that idi©t get all of our information and threatened to kill our family if we refused to do this”
” I don’t know how he got all that but he did and threatened to kill them all if we say anything to anyone” he replied.
” Now you see man….. I’m only trying to protect my family” he added.
” Yeah I understand, Just one more question before we wrap this up”
” You don’t know who I am, infact I just got into this city less than seven hours ago…..why did you come for me?” I asked.
” Boss wanted to who you are and wanted you dead” he replied which got me confused.
” I don’t understand…..how? What do you mean?” I asked.
” He sent us a picture of you talking to someone in a cell and order us to kill you” he said.
” In a cell?….. you mean at the agency?” I asked and he nodded affirmative.
” So whoever you’re working for is working at the agency” I said realising why Mike never find these people.
” And you don’t know who this person is?” I asked.
” I swear to God man, I’m putting my family in danger for even saying this to you” he replied.
” Let me see your phone” I said then checked his pocket and bring out his phone and went through the messages.
I confirmed the picture with me having a discussion with my son which mean he’s saying the truth.
I confirmed the number to be a private number as well which means it can’t be traced not unless he call.
I checked other messages it was all the same and at the end it says ” For Peruzad”.
” Do you have any valuable information for me at all?” I asked.
” I swear man….. that’s everything I know” he pleaded then I pulled out my gun and pointed it at his forehead.
” Then you’re of no use to me” I replied then made to pull the trigger.
” Hold on, hold on, please don’t kill me…. I’ll tell you one more thing, they planned on killing him tonight” he said.
” Killing who?” I asked.
” Your son and one of the men he arrested in the morning and they are doing it tonight” he said.
” Hmm, but That’s not good enough and I don’t give second chance” I said then shoot him on the head.

I stood up and went to the hooker who is looking so scared from what she just experienced.
” Pl….plea..se, please don’t kill me….. please” she begged.
” You agreed to drug me without second thought, you’re as well a murderer just like them” I said.
” Please, I’m sorry….. forgive me” she pleaded.
” If I ever learn you did something like this again…. believe me I’ll find you and I’ll kill you” I said to her.
” I promise…..I won’t, I won’t” she replied.
” Good, Now tell me who did this?” I said pointing at the mess in the room.
” I don’t know……I didn’t see anyone” she replied.
” Clever girl” I replied then went out.
