Kreme came in few minutes later

“Sorry you had to witness such a drama Kreme”
Georgia apologized with a smile

Kreme shook his head
“It’s fine Miss, I’m happy to be considered a family to you”
He bowed his head a little hiding the smile that was threatening to break

“You are to me Kreme, such a cute man”
Georgia chuckled when she saw his smiles

Kreme and Georgia had gotten really close that they now treat each other like siblings but Kreme always gives a little gap between them so as not to attract the wrath of Dylan.

“so what do we have for lunch?
Georgia asked, hurriedly closing the file she was working on

“Miss if I may ask, your appetite has really increased for some time now, have you been stressing yourself lately?

Kreme asked, gauging Georgia’s reaction closely

Georgia laughed anxiously which sounded awkward

“Yes yes…..you could say that I’ve been stressing myself….”
As a terrible liar she was, Georgia avoided eye contact which Kreme noted and it further heightened his suspicions

“Alright Miss”

NIGHT

Louise walked out of the cafe with smiles as she tried putting on her jacket due to the chilly weather, her cell phone was placed on her right shoulder while she bent her head sideways to hold the phone in place as she conversed

“No no no Ryan I’m okay with this job,. probably I’ll save more and get back to school hmmm?

“Nope, you can’t have the most handsome and rich boyfriend like me and work in a measly cafe, come on Louise”

Ryan said over the phone and Louise laughed

“That’s a yes?
He asked

“That’s a no”

“Oh come on…. okay you’re done for today right? Stay right there and I’ll come get ya”
Ryan uttered and immediately grabbed his keys as he walked out of the Game house

Louise sighed
“Alright, Mr boyfriend”
She joked

Ryan grinned like an id!ot when he heard her
“I’ll be right there”
He said and hung up

Louise kept on smiling wide till she started receiving weird glances from passerbys which made her aware of herself, she schooled back her expression and scolded herself inwardly

Id!ot!

As she waited, Louise didn’t know why but she started feeling strange and uneasy

She turned back and noticed two men walking towards her wearing black, her heart pulsated in her chest

She was about running from her position as the men got closer to her, when they walked past her, conversing with each other without a glance at her

Exhaling sharply as she had been holding her breathe, her already drumming heart slowed it’s pace
She had just gotten scared by men who probably didn’t know she was about running because of them

If they knew, they would really laugh out loud.

A honk blared which made her look towards that direction, she smiled seeing who it was, Ryan was in his car at the other side of the road, waving at her to come over

Louise waved back with smiles

She made to cross the road when an open black van screeched to a halt and she was picked up into the van which immediately sped off the streets into the night.

Ryan who witnessed what happened seconds ago in his car froze entirely

She was just standing over there, she smiled at him while he waved at her

With reddish eyes, Ryan started the car, and drove off in a frightening speed
