Ariana hurried down the stairs and straight to the door

“Where are you heading to?

She halted and turned around with a sigh
“Out”
She replied curtly

“What? I mustn’t tell you where I’m going”
Ariana frowned

Derick sighed, standing up from where he sat, he walked towards Ariana

“Look Ari, I know you’re finding it difficult to accept the fact that I’m really your father and you’re finding it hard to get used to it but I’m your father, we both know that.

I wouldn’t want you to get hurt trying to seek revenge, why not stop all these and let’s fly out of LA, we can leave out there together and make a home”
Derick suggested as he stared at Ariana lovingly

He had thought about it over and over again
He really loved Ariana as his daughter and he would want them to just leave, and start a new life

Ariana held his own hands
“You’re right, I’m still trying to accept the fact that you’re my real dad but I can’t afford to let those who hurt me go scot free, I’ll have my revenge and then we can leave”
Ariana insisted

Derick saw the determination in her eyes and sighed
He just knew, he can’t change her mind as it is

“Alright”
He accepted

He just hopes she knows what she’s doing.

Elsa tried to speak some sense into Vanessa’s head

She would admit that their boss is a handsome man who almost all the single ladies, even married ones, long for but the harsh reality is, he can’t be with every woman and he must love only one woman so she didn’t understand why Vanessa would want to risk everything just to be with him

Vanessa looked at Elsa unbelievably and scoffed in her mind

Elsa didn’t know the height of sacrifice she had made just to be with him up close, to make sure she becomes his

“You shouldn’t be here though, you should be at work, aren’t you the newly appointed chief Secretary now?
Vanessa asked bitterly

“You know I didn’t mean for all of these to happen”
Elsa defended, she could sense the hurt in Vanessa’s voice as she was betrayed

“Oh right”
Vanessa rolled her eyes

Elsa came visiting her friend in her apartment before going to work but seeing how Vanessa was seeing her as a traitor, she felt hurt

She couldn’t have possibly turned down the offer of the chief Secretary just because her friend was fired from that same position, could she?

Elsa thought

Just when Elsa got up to leave, there came a knock on the door

“get that for me on your way out”
Vanessa said to Elsa who shook her head in defeat
“I’ll be leaving, just take care”
She said and walked out

Getting to the door, Elsa opened the door and was surprised to see the second young miss of the Sterling’s

Ariana stared at Elsa for a fleeting moment and without acknowledging her presence, she walked right inside leaving Elsa to close the door

Standing in her spot for few seconds, Elsa turned around and walked to her car, all the while, thinking what the lady could be doing in Vanessa’s apartment
