Normally, Dylan wouldn’t have bothered explaining himself to the press or whatsoever, he, Dylan, do not answer to anyone but it’s his little cat involved and he had to come clean of any sort of peasant rumours flying around
He wouldn’t want her to be tagged as a homewrecker or third party once he announces their relationship, not that they would dare to bad-mouth his woman but it was lot more safer and less troublesome this way

The old man fiercely hit his cane on the floor in anger
His face showed signs of cracking as he glared intently at the screen
The press conference was live and he watched annoyingly, his grandson going against his wishes
Mr Donovan would admit, he didn’t ever think that Dylan would ever do what he did, not even in his wildest dreams

Mr Donovan mumbled with a smirk, it was high time he showed his grandson that he was still in charge and no matter how high the phoenix soars, it can still be shot by an arrow or a gun.

Whispers erupted heavily amongst the reporters

Keyboards were pvnched mercilessly, pens stroke against books as each one of the. began their work
Each reporter had their own palatable headline to give in a way it would attract any viewer.
Dylan’s demure was beginning to crack as he was starting to get bored about the conference
Garfield hardly controlled his urge to laugh out loud if not for how serious and important the conference was
He knew that Dylan was having a hard time in controlling his outburst being poured out on the press
Reporter 4: Mr Donovan, to satisfy my curiosity, umm….we the reporters were wondering why you, who doesn’t give a care about what the world thinks about you, bothered to set up a conference just to clear the relationship between you and Miss Summer”
Immediately the female reporter said that, the others cvrsed her in their minds

She wants to put us in trouble!!
Who allowed her to interrogate Mr Donovan?
Ohh God now we’re in trouble
They could only pray that Mr Donovan wouldn’t pick offence in the question.
And as feared, Dylan’s whole countenance changed the more, it became dark and scrunched up and just when they had all sealed their fate in getting thrown out and obviously out of their reporting job, Dylan replied surprisingly
“Just the question I was waiting for, normally, I wouldn’t have bothered myself in that and would rather hunt down the person spreading the rumours discreetly but this time around, I wouldn’t want to offend my woman and risk her leaving me”
👥🗣️: What did Mr Donovan just say?
