A lady walked right in front Vanessa with a mocking smile taunting her lips

“Grace that’s enough!
Elsa came to her friend’s rescue

“Pft….. enough? you got to be kidding me right now, she had been surplus of her rudeness and arrogance since the night she went to the grand party with Mr Donovan but now…..tsk tsk….what is that saying again? A pride follows a fall?

“Pride comes before a fall”
Elsa corrected her unconsciously earning a glare from Vanessa

“oops sorry”
Elsa apologized .She should be defending her friend but here she was correcting someone who was insulting her friend

“Exactly Elsa, now see who’s falling now, you’re fired and in such an embarrassing way”
Grace scoffed

“One more word from you Grace and I’ll ruin your life! Do you know who I am?

Vanessa yelled at Grace, making the rest of the spectators flinch

‘ such arrogance, still acting high and mighty in her misfortune’

They thought

Grace burst out laughing hard
“Ruin my life? Who you are? Now who the h’ll do you think you are, huh? bch!

Vanessa was already shaking in fury but she didn’t have time to deal with Grace just yet, she glared hard at Grace who in turn glared back with the Same fervor

The next moment, Vanessa stomped her foot and ran out of the building, ignoring Elsa’s voice calling after her, she got into her car and drove off

Vikki poured the warm coffee for her Madam who was still shocked by the live news Dylan was in minutes ago

“Ma’am, drink”
Vikki politely said

Madam Viola nodded and took a sip from the ceramic cup, it instantly calmed her nerves

The more reason why she never wants Vikki to leave her side at all

The girl knows what to do at any particular time and this time, this is what she needed

“Thanks Vikki”
Madam Viola smiled

Vikki blushed
“It’s nothing ma’am”

“I know you are stressed right now, coupled with the live news you just watched, but if I should be honest ma’am, I really don’t feel pity for Miss Summer at all”
Vikki, always the blabber mouth, voiced her thoughts

Madam Viola frowned
“Don’t say that Vikki, do you know what it feels like to be out there in the news with every single person in the city talking about you, badly?

Madam Viola said, lecturing the girl
She knew that the picture Vanessa painted out there for the world to see isn’t right as it hadn’t been discussed yet about their engagement but she didn’t also feel that Dylan did the right thing to expose her like that

It would ruin her, a woman’s reputation is easily ruined

Vikki bowed a little to apologize for saying such but she knew that deep inside her, even if that was to happen to Vanessa again, she wouldn’t bat an eyelid

Speaking of the dvil, Vikki frowned when Vanessa hurriedly walked over to them in the garden with tear stricken face and she almost rolled her eyes

She didn’t know why seeing Vanessa’s tears, seemed fake
Vikki thought, she shouldn’t bear the entertainment industry, she was a terrible actress.
