Mr Sterling said to Kreme who ignored him and still stood near the door with a passive expression
Georgia nearly giggled but chose to keep a straight face also
“You can say whatever you came here for, he’s not a stranger, he’s one of my family”.
Georgia uttered
Mr Sterling frowned but chose to keep calm as he came here to curry favour from her
“I’m your family too, besides, he’s a stranger as he’s not related to you”
Mr Sterling corrected
“Stranger? Let me lecture you Mr Sterling, a family should care, love, cherish and support you which you have failed to do, and if this person you call a stranger does those things, then he’s better off being my family, now get over with it and tell me what you came her for”
Unbeknownst to Georgia, Kreme’s passive face cracked slightly as his lips pulled upwards in a smile where he stood
Mr Sterling had no words to counter what Georgia said and he rather say what he wants to say than waste time, it’s not as if he loves Georgia to want to spend time with her
He was only in awe that the girl he has always had control over was now out of his lair, soaring higher like an eagle
“Umm I took a huge amount of loan from the bank hoping to pay back and was close to striking a deal that would cover the loan and have much more gain untill……”
“Untill your beloved wife made you so much popular and you became infamous”
Georgia completed sarcastically with a smile
Mr Sterling frowned
“Don’t go too far Georgia”
He warned
“Anyways, what has what you told me got to do with me?
Georgia asked, inspecting her nails
“I need you to help me with money, I need 500 million bucks”
“where do you want me to get that amount from? I can’t help you with a dime Mr Sterling”
Georgia frowned
Five hundred million bucks?
What did he use it for?!!
What kind of investment was that for?!!
Mr Sterling got anxious
“You need to help, you’re the CEO of this company and you can get money from here, don’t forget that if the Sterling’s enterprise falls, it’s your mom’s sweat that falls!
Georgia flared up and anger rose within her
“How shameless of you to think that I would extort such huge amount from here just because I’m the acting CEO! I don’t care what happens to Sterling enterprise for now, at most, I’ll merge that company with the Gerald’s, I have the upper hand after all!
Georgia boomed and that surprised Me Sterling
The only thing he had to bargain with Georgia was meaningless!
“You and Dylan are still together right? you can ask him for help, please my child, do this for your father”
He begged
Georgia had totally given up on her dad a long time ago
She shook her head in a mocking way
“You ain’t my father”
She said and turned to Kreme
“Kreme please walk Mr Sterling out”
“You can’t do this Georgia!!! I’m your father!!!!
Mr Sterling shouted as he was being pulled by Kreme out of the office
Georgia sighed
Recalling the live show she witnessed made her giddy
She couldn’t believe that Dylan would do this just to clear his name and deep within her she knew it was for her sake
She smiled.
