Episode 20.

Anastasia arrived and slowly opened the door to see the two couples discussing,
“Ahh Mrs Mpho you’re welcome, James said getting up giving her a hug.
“Thanks for coming sir, I appreciate. Honey how are you feeling now? Sorry I should have been here earlier but I had to submit to work first, Anastasia asked touching Regina.
“The doctor said I’ll be fine, I just have to believe that. Thanks for everything, Regina slowly said.
“For what exactly? Have you heard from the cops yet? Anastasia asked.
“Nope and I doubt if they can do anything about this looking at the way things are, Regina replied.
“But I thought they were here this morning? James asked.
“Yes they came to get my report but I know its senseless, what can they do about it when no one saw their faces? Regina asked.
“Your neighbors too are not helping matters at all, in fact I am suspecting them, Anastasia came in.
“Whatever the Case is, I just want to leave this place and wake up from this terrible dream, Regina said and Anastasia held her hands.
“It is well okay, just be calm and all of this will be over soon. Didn’t the holy bible said when there is life there is hope? Anastasia asked and she nodded.
“Excuse me please let me pick this call, James said and went out while Regina looked at Anastasia.
“What’s wrong with that look on your face? Anastasia asked.
“I don’t know what to say, you actually asked me to come down before this happened. What did you really wanted to say to me? Regina asked and Anastasia heaved.
“Are you still thinking about that despite your state now? Can’t you let this be Regina and face your problems? Gosh I Can’t believe you, Anastasia said.
“I can’t believe myself either with all I have done, maybe this is my punishment and am bearing it already, Regina replied and Anastasia rolled her eyes.
“What punishment girl? Stop saying that and leave this matter. I promise you I will take care of that girl as my own daughter, please let’s end this I beg you, Anastasia said holding her hands and James walked in with Mpho. They quickly composed themselves back,
“Sorry it was a business call and I returned with your husband Anastasia, James said.
“I can see that, Anastasia said smiling.
They discussed a lot together and Regina felt relaxed,
“Honey I need to go, you know the baby, Anastasia said to Regina.
“Yea I understand, thank you so much, Regina replied.
“And eem James, I hope everything is settled now between you too? Who knows if this happened for a reason, but whatever it is I think you too should settle up. Regina missed you a lot and that brought up some certain actions she did without thinking, I hope you do something about your business and try to create time for her, she’s a human and needs you too. Sorry am interfering but am speaking to you as a family, Anastasia said and he nodded.
“Not that I am happy myself I distanced myself from her, but I need to put extra work and time to foot the bills. Our kids bills most especially gives me more headache when I think about it, not knowing I was sacrificing someone happiness in the process. When she’s done here she’ll be with me over there in Dubai, Am sorry dear it will cost your career, James gently said and Regina wished she could smile.
“Its okay, she gently replied.
“Alright thats good to know, we have to take our leave now, Mpho said getting up while Anastasia took her bag.
“See you tomorrow dearie, bye, Anastasia said waving at them and left with Mpho …………….
“Hmm so the couples are home together again, I am beginning to like this development, Dite said opening the door for them.
“Ma please safe us the strength, how are the kids? Anastasia asked.
“Playing inside, I decided to watch the cable on my own today, Dite said and Anastasia smiled.
“OK o, she said and left for the kids room while Mpho settled down on the couch taking off his shoes.
“So how are you two enjoying the outing? Dite asked and Mpho looked at her.
“Please get me my food thank you, Mpho replied and Dite frowned.
“Whatever! She shouted and left to set the table .
After checking on her kids Anastasia couldn’t stop smiling at herself,
“So James will take her to Dubai after she’s discharged? Thats good news, let me see how she will stretch herself from Dubai to interfere in my business, nonsense, she said and stood up to take off her clothes but Bobby came on her mind.
She took her phone and was disappointed he didn’t bother to call her after leaving his place, then she sluggishly called him.
“Hey, his voice came on phone.
“Hey too, not even a call to ask if I’ve arrived, Anastasia replied.
“As a married woman I thought you’ll be with your husband, am sorry I won’t be calling so you won’t be in trouble, he said.
“Is that an excuse? She asked.
“Fact, so you won’t remind me you’re a married woman on phone again, he replied.
“Alright alright, you’re with the boys right? She asked.
“Are you smelling me over here already? He replied.
“Am chocking already, she said and he laughed.
“When are we going to see again? He asked.
“I thought you said you’re not interested, she replied.
“For your money am not, but the thing between your legs I am, He replied and Anastasia gasped.
“Why so raw? Common your pals may hear that, she said.
“So? He asked.
“Look we’ll talk about this next time okay, good night, Anastasia said and dropped the call and heaved.
“I hope this will go cool, I just hope so, she said and left to have a shower.
Mpho done eating entered the room to change up but found Anastasia feeding Hope.
“That reminds me, what did you go to Regina place to do? When the police was taking her reports, Regina made mention of she coming down because of you, what was that thing so important you two wanted discussing? Mpho asked and Regina scoffed.
“Is visiting Regina a new thing? She obviously wanted to talk to me about something, she replied.
“She actually said you asked her to come down, though you delayed your coming before the guys attacked, Mpho said.
“I asked her to come down?…. Ahh yes that’s true, I wanted to talk to her about the divorce because I didn’t want it. Somehow am grateful I delayed, what if the guys met me with her? Who knows what the story would have been in my Case, but why are you asking all of this? She asked.
“Anyway the cops were kind of suspecting you somehow but I was able to wipe that off, he replied.
“Suspecting me? As in are they mad or something? Why should they even think of such a thing? I mean who does that! Anastasia Shouted.
“Forget about those lazy folks, they don’t even know their job, just forget about it, Mpho said and went in to shower while Anastasia rolled her eyes when he got in.
“I wish I was there, they are so lucky, she said so Mpho can hear it and she saw Hope has slept off already.
She placed her on the bed and left the room immediately thinking about what Mpho just said.
She took her phone and texted Bobby,
“If possible can we see tomorrow? Its very important”.
The next day was a Sunday, Dite already prepared the kids for service and Anastasia shocked her,
“Can you take Hope along too? She asked.
“Jesus is Lord! You mean 5 kids just me? Dite Shouted.
You’re going with your brother, what’s difficult there? Not like you’re trekking with them or entering a public transport, Anastasia replied.
“No ma’am let her be with you today, thank you, Dite replied.
“Please, I can’t take her to the hospital with me too remember, Anastasia said an Dite looked at her with a frown.
“I’ll come back early then, Dite said.
“I’ll be leaving soon, Please Dite nau, Anastasia said giving Hope to her and Dite carried her.
“Thank you, i’ll go get her bag okay, Anastasia said and went in to bring her baby bag out…………..
