” Wow! ” You look amazing? ” Maya says as soon as Rita is done with my makeup, and she’s right. Rita did a pretty good job, with my face and hair, that I barely even recognize myself!
She’s fantastic at this!
” Thank you Rita, ” I say smiling up at her.
” Don’t mention it,” She says smiling back at me. “Now we should help you get dressed. We don’t want you getting late to your own wedding. ”
Yeah.. You heard right!
It’s my wedding day and am super excited!
My sparkly silver gown is placed neatly on the bed, and my hand is kind of shaky as i reach for it.
” Are you okay?” Maya asks concern clear in her voice. ” Why are your hands shacking? ”
” Am fine.. Am just very nervous, and also excited! ”
I still can’t believe that this is happening?!
I really want to scream out loud and tell the world how happy I am!
” Don’t worry Maya.. that’s normal for a bride , ” Rita says ,giving her a reassuring smile.
We had to postpone the wedding for a month, because of everything that’s being happening, and believe me, it’s a lot to deal with!
We are going to have it in our backyard ,the same place I got engaged in, and I totally love it!
Having the wedding here was not the initial plan but we had to change most of our plans because of Stacy. She’s still out there, but the police are busy looking for her.
I really don’t get how they haven’t found her yet! I mean, it’s not like she just dissapeared out of thin air!
Anyway, the entire house is surrounded by cops, in case she decides to give us a surprise visit, and I think she’d be stupid to do that! But we can never put anything past her.
” So.. Isn’t Alicia here yet? ” I ask as am busy dressing up.” she promised to help me get ready. ”
” Well.. She called and said that she’d be kind of late, since she had to pass by the hospital and check on the baby, but she’s on her way ,” Maya says.
” Okay. ”
I know you are asking yourself what and who’s baby Alicia went to see, right?
Well it’s Lisa’s.
After she was run over, Alex was quick to get her to the hospital.The doctors said that she had internal bleeding and severe head and brain injuries, that were pretty bad! There was no way she was going to make it.
Miraculously, the baby was still fine and they immediately did an emergency C-section and that’s how they baby was delivered.
It’s a girl by the way.

It’s really sad that she had to loose her mother,at birth.
Lisa asked to see to us before she passed away, and asked for our forgiveness. She begged me to take care of her baby,and not to let her suffer for her mistakes, and I promised to.
She also did something that we will forever be grateful for. She donated her heart to Alicia!
Alicia is now fully recovered, and has no more issue with her health.
” Hi girls, how is everything going?” George asks walking in, followed by Nick and Chloe.
“I don’t think you two are supposed to be here ,”Maya says stopping them at the door and glares at them.
” I thought only the groom shouldn’t see the bride before the wedding?” Nick says a confused look on his face.
” Well.. That’s true , but you are his friends and am sure he sent you here.”
” Come on Maya! Stop creating a fuss over nothing, come in guys, ” I say and they walk in all smiles.
” You look Gorgeous Vee.. Alex is a lucky guy, “Nick says.
” Yeah.. He’s the luckiest! ” George adds.
George has changed Completely over the past one month, and has gone back to being the George I first met. His friendship with Alex is back to normal ,and am glad that he finally accepted us.
” I bet it feels wonderful, knowing that in a few hours, you’ll be married to the love of you life,” Chloe says her face full of excitement.” I can’t wait for Nick and I to get married, ” She says sqeuling as she shows me her engagement ring.
” Wait.. You two got engaged?!” I ask.
” Yes, Nick proposed last night. ”
” Congratulations Chloe, I can’t believe I missed that! Why didn’t you invite us to your engagement party Nick? I thought we are supposed to be family! ” I say looking at him a fake a frown on my face.
” Am sorry Vee, but they was no party. I took her for a romantic dinner and proposed to her at the restaurant. You guys had a lot going on with the wedding and I didn’t want to bother you, but Alex and George knew about it. They even helped me pick out the perfect ring ,for my perfect girl, ” he says looking lovingly at Chloe, and I find myself smiling.
” Love is in the air, huh?” Maya says looking adorably at them.” I can’t wait to find my Mr. right and get married too. ”
” That will have to wait until you are done with college, young lady, ” I say giving her a stern look.
” Yes mum, ” she says sarcastically rolling her eyes and we all end up laughing.
” Anywho.., ” George says after a few seconds of laughter. ” We just came to inform you that you don’t have to worry about Stacy crashing your wedding anymore. ”
” Why?… Did they find her? ” I ask.
” Yes, but she’s dead. ”
” You mean.. they killed her?! ” That’s Rita.
” No the police didn’t kill her, her sponsor did, ” Nick says.
” What? why?! ”
” The story is that he found her in bed with his son, and that was it for her!”
” I guess some things never change huh? ” Maya say shaking her head.
” Yap!…Old habits die hard, and this time,she cheated on the wrong guy, ” Rita adds.
I know Stacy was pure evil and I should be relieved by her death, but I still feel bad for her. She was so young and had a long life ahead. Too bad she and Lisa choose the wrong path.
” It’s actually a Pitty she had to die too, ” I say sadly. ” I just wish that Lisa and her somehow had a different ending. Maybe end up in jail, like Merghan and Mike.. But not dying. ”
” Don’t feel bad for them Vee,” Rita says. “Those two did everything they can to ruin your life, and anyways, we can’t change destiny.”
” Yes.. You are so right Ava,” George says. ” And speaking of which.. I’ll pass by the prison tomorrow and give Merghan the news. I bet she’ll be so happy to know that the person who put her in a wheelchair has finally payed for it. ”
Merghan managed to survive after she was shot, but the bullet left her her paralyzed, from her waist down. George goes to visit her from time to time.
Oh.. And Mike also recovered. He was convicted just a week ago and got seven years in prison.
” I bet she will, but she still deserves to be in that wheel chair, ” Ava says.”
” Well.. Atleast now I can get married without any kind of fear, ” I say reaching for my white sparkly heels and put them on.
Perfect! Am now more than ready to be Alex’s wife!
” Okay.. We’ll get going, ” George says and they walk out leaving me with my bridesmaids.
In about thirty minutes, am walking down the isle,in Joe’s arm, the song beautiful in white by westlife,singing in the back round.
The decoration here is straight from a movie, and I literally feel like a princess.
Not so many people are here since we only invited family and close friends, who are all standing, looking at me with so much love in their eyes.
My smile widens as i catch a glimpse of my Prince Charming, who’s all nervous, watching me. George and Nick are his best men and they are standing beside him, while Rita and Ava, stand on their opposite side.
Dmn!!! He looks like an angel, straight out of heaven!
I want to run to him already, and kss the hell out of him! but that will have to wait until after the wedding!
I swear my heart is doing crazy somersaults right now, with each step I take ! Am still a nervous wreck, but am doing my best to keep my composure.
It still hard to believe that am getting married, to the most handsome and fantastic man ever !
I can’t help but recall the first time we met, and my smile widens even more. I mean, who could have thought that, I’d be getting married, to the rude, grumpy guy I met that night!
” She’s all yours, ” Joe, Alexs father says handing me to Alex.
” Thank you dad, ” he says pulling me close to him, and pulls up my vail, giving me a kss.
” Hey… It’s not time for that yet, ” the priest scolds him.
” Am sorry…. I just couldn’t help it, ” he says with a smile, his eyes on me, and we hear soft chuckle from the guests.
” Okay.. I guess I better get the wedding over and done with, before you run off to your honey moon, without getting married first,” the priest says with a smile, and everyone burst out laughing again.
” Yeah.. I’d really appreciate that, ” Alex says.
The priest is done in about fifteen minutes,and now it’s time for our vows.
“I have to catch my breath to believe this is real, that am marrying my true love, my hearts desire, and my best friend ,” Alex says nervously my hand on his, and I swear am about to cry.
“Vee.. You are my guide to love, my every wish, and the person I want to grow old with. I love that you and I will spend the rest of our lives together. Somehow my life has come to this amazing moment and now I will always share it with you. I have so much to tell you , but I also have the rest of my life for that, ” he says giving me a breath taking smile, as he wipes away my tears. ” I love you Vee and I want to thank you for giving me the best gift ever! And that’s you. ”
” Alex.. ,” I say sniffing, I say trying to pull myself together. “You walked into my life and made me see myself in a way that I never thought I would. You gave me hope and added colour to my world ,something I’ll forever be thankful for, ” I say stroking his cheek, as a tear falls from his eyes.
” I enter this life with you, with no reservations, without fear or confusion, but with a clear and trusting heart. You are my savings grace, and I forever promise to be your honest, faithful and loving wife,” I say.
” I know pronounce you husband and wife, ” the priest says after we are done with our vows. ” You can now kss your bride, again. ”
Alex wastes no time, and pulls me closer, giving me the most breath taking kss ever! while everyone claps.
“You are now completely mine! I can’t wait to have you all alone, “he says with a wink, his eyes full of desire and his voice laced with so much excitement. His words,and the way he’s looking at me right now,makes me feel like am the only girl in the world! and sends shiver all over my body!
” I love you, ” I say as I put my hands around his neck and kss him, with all that I’ve got. ”
” You should save some for the honeymoon, ” Rita says a few seconds later, and we break off.
” You sure know how to ruin our fun, don’t you ?” Alex says glaring at her, while she just smiles shaking her head.
” I can’t believe that you are finally my sister in law, ” Rita tells Maya and they jump around squealing, like crazy, as everyone else walks over to congratulate us.
” Congrats siz, ” Maya says giving me a tight hug. ” I always prayed for you to find peace and happiness and you finally did, ” she says pulling back, as tears fall from her face. ” I wish mum and Dad were here. They’d be so happy ”
” I know, ” I say wiping away her tears, trying my best to hold mine back. ” Am sure they are watching from heaven.”
” Am sure they are…i guess it’s about time we start over completely and finally have a new beginning, ” Maya says with a smile.
” Yes.., ” Alex says his hand on my waist.” It’s about time we start over as one big happy family.”
And that is how my life changed from a nightmare to a fairytale !Everything is finally as it should be, and I feel like the luckiest girl ever! Its time I live my life to the fullest, without wasting even a second!
