TWO DAYS LATER, THE SMITH**
Jessica sat in between Rhett’s thigh with her back against his chest as they watched a movie with a bowl of popcorn on Jessica’s thigh which they occasionally ate from while watching.
10 minutes later, the movie ended.
“Awn that’s so romantic” Jessica said, placing the bowl of popcorn on the floor.
“Yeah” Rhett said and hugged Jessica. She giggled..
“Your mom isn’t yet back? She left an hour ago” Jessica asked.
Well Mrs Smith is fully recovered so she could now walk freely. It was also a Saturday so no work for the couples.
“Oh she went to see a friend who came to town. Think they’re gonna spend the day together” Rhett said
“That’s so nice! More time for us” Jessica smiled and Rhett pecked her cheek.
“Your boss’s wedding will be starting in 40 minutes from now” Jessica said.
“Yeah, you were invited. Won’t you attend it?” Rhett asked.
“Nope.. I prefer being with you” Jessica smiled and got on top of him.
“Let’s do something fun to pass time” Jessica smirked naughtily.
“What is going on in that navghty mind of yours” Rhett smiled.
“Well…” She trailed, lifting his shirt up. Rhett let her do what she wanted.
She pulled the shirt off his body and ran her hands down his chest to his abs. That gave him goosebumps.
“If you go further, I can assure you you won’t leave this place without a swollen t*t or even more” Rhett said
Rhett let out a light groan and quickly switch position with her, pinning her hand above her head.
“Stop” He said gently and bit her earlobe before kssing cheek.
“What did you even do to me?” He said affectionately before claiming her lips.

“Gosh! My son is so handsome today!” Xavier smiled as the stylists did Nicholas’s hair in Xavier’s room.
Nicholas just stared emotionlessly at the mirror as they did his hair. He was putting on a white suit which looked so good on him but the sour look on his face ruined everything.
“All done sir” The stylist said and left..
Nicholas turned and faced Xavier who was smiling widely. He patted Nicholas’s shoulder.
“I’m happy for you son.” He smiled.
Nicholas removed his hand from his shoulder.
“You’re not happy for me.. Don’t ever call me son because the moment you klled my mom, you díed along with her. I’m doing this because I’m tired of love..” Nicholas said and turned his back on him.
“I already told you Xavier.. I hàte you with all my heart and I won’t ever be completely be happy till you pay for what you did. You better just kll me too because your downfall is coming… Sooner than you expected, you just wait.” Nicholas said.
“I already told you countless times. I didn’t kíll your mother”Xavier frowned.
“You can fool Aidan.. But you can’t certainly fool me Xavier.” Nicholas said.
Xavier clenched his fists tightly and left the room.
He suddenly stopped when he felt someone was spying on him.
Xavier looked around and furrowed his brows before leaving the area.
Nicholas stared at his reflection on the mirror for a while before he closed his eyes.
Brittany who was hiding earlier from Xavier got out of her hiding.
Well she came here with the hope of looking for proofs. She wasn’t even expecting to see Xavier since she thought they already left the house.
Brittany looked around when she felt Xavier already left. She walked towards his room but the door opened again.
Brittany was swift to hide quickly. She peeked out and her eyes widened when she saw it was Nicholas. She quickly hid again..
Nicholas stopped on his tracks and looked at a particular direction then furrowed his brows.
Brittany heaved out when she heard some steps leaving. She peeked out and heaved out when she saw he was gone.
Suddenly someone grabbed her wrist from behind and turned her around. A gasp escaped her lips when she saw it was Nicholas.
Nicholas stared coldly at her. Brittany opened her mouth to speak but was cut shut when Nicholas took her hand.
He placed a key on it..
“Tell me to stop this marriage and I’ll do so right now” Nicholas said.
Brittany looked at him for a while before looking away..
“Okay, I see” He muttered and took a step away.
He turned and began leaving.. Brittany opened her mouth to speak but stopped herself.
She clenched her fist tight around the key before going in the room. She locked it behind to make sure no one could enter..
Brittany quickly went to the wardrobe and pvshed it aside, the door came to view. She turned the door knob but it wasn’t opening. She did it several time but it was still the same.
Brittany looked at the key in her hand.
“Does that means he knows?” She wondered.
Brittany inserted the key and turned it. To her surprise it opened.
Brittany opened the door and her heart fell when she saw it was.. Empty
“What’s this?” She wondered.
Does that mean for more than two weeks, she was trying to get to something that wasn’t real?
Wait..
“Why did he lock the door if there’s nothing in here” She wondered.
Something definitely isn’t right..
Brittany got in the small room which was huge enough to fit only two person of her body size. Just like the size of two lockers.
Brittany looked around the small area, touching the walls. She sighed and made to come out since she saw nothing suspicious.
Her hands landed on some sort of bump and it turned out to be a hidden button
“Ahh!!” Brittany shrieked when she felt the small room going down at a fast speed. Just like…
“An elevator” She whispered.
It took her two minutes before the elevator got to a halt. The door opened back.
Brittany slowly stepped out of the area..
She looked round the place and it was so calm and quiet as if no one was there.
Brittany quickly brought out her phone and luckily the connection there was good.
She googled for her current location and the results said that she was in another location.
“Looks like I’m in some sort of underground building!” Brittany said inwardly.
She kept back her phone and began walking through the cave, carefully observing the area.
Her heart skipped a beat when she heard a loud noise, as if someone was pushing a door open. Brittany quickly hid behind some pile of boxes.
That’s even when she noticed the box.
She peeked out to see three hefty men with guns, bringing in bags. They left again and brought back in the other bags. It took them 10 minutes before they were done.
The bags were more than 20
“Boss will be pleased with the new delivery” One of them smiled.
“Certainly” The other said.
They laughed as they left the area, shutting the door back. Brittany carefully got out of her hiding place and walked to the bags.
She opened it and saw other smaller packages in them. Brittany picked one of the package and tore it with her teeth.
Her eyes widened when she immediately recognize it. This was what she was caught with back then at the airport.

Nicholas stood by the alter with the priest beside him. More than hundred of people were present to witness the grand ceremony of the year.
Everyone were dressed richly, in their elegant suit and dresses.

People began murmuring and they all stood when Valerie made her entrance with Hailey..
The music was being played as they both walked down the aisle. Hailey’s wound were almost healed, she covered them up with makeup.
Valerie smiled with her gaze fixed on Nicholas as she slowly approached him. Her gown was looking so beautiful and gorgeous..

They got to Nicholas and Hailey left Valerie’s side. Valerie faced Nicholas with a smile on her lips. Nicholas just kept a poker face.
Everyone sat back down as the priest began the rituals..
“Valerie Rodriguez… Do you accept Nicholas Hayes as your husband. To love and cherish him and also to stand by him till death do you apart” The priest said.
