CHAPTER 73
Justin adjusted his rear mirror to see two cars were tailing behind him, probably the police cars.
“I need to get away from them” He thought and stepped on the accelerator.
His car began driving at a furious speed. He looked again and the car increased in speed too. One of the cops brought out his hand out of the car and aimed at one of the tire
Justin immediately took another turn, making him to miss his target. Justin stepped more on the accelerator and his eyes furrowed when he saw the other car was coming to h!t him by the side.
His car narrowly escaped making the car to hit the wall. The other car behind him abruptly stopped since the car which hit the wall was now blocking him.
Justin exhaled loudly and continued his way.. He looked at Alex and sighed.
“I’m sorry Britt. I’m doing it for my sister” He thought and continued his way..
The drive to the sea was long so it’ll take a while before they arrived..

THE MORGAN’S**
Gracie came out of the house, looking around. It’s been almost an hour that Justin left to pick up Alex and till now they aren’t yet back.
“What’s happening.” She brought out her phone to call Justin but he wasn’t picking up.
She kept her phone and furrowed her brow, strangely she has this bad feeling about all these.
Gracie looked at the time and sighed.
“Brittany will arrive any minute from now” She thought..

AIRPORT**
“Home sweet home!” Nicholas exclaimed as he came down the stairs of the plane.
“Can’t wait to see my cute Alex” Brittany thought happily as she watched Nicholas’s bodyguards packing their things in two cars.
“Can’t believe I’ll have to wait a full day before seeing you again” Nicholas said and sighed.
“Stop acting like that… You’re not cute” Brittany smirked when suddenly her phone beeped.
**COME TO THE SEA 2KM AWAY FROM THE AIRPORT IF YOU WANNA SAVE YOUR SON**
Brittany furrowed her brows and looked up.
“What’s all this?” She thought out loud.
“What?” Nicholas came closer to her. He read the text message and also furrowed his brows.
“Think this is a prank.. What will your son be doing near the sea. That’s really far from your house” Nicholas said.
“But what if it’s really true? What if she has my son and is planning to kll him?” Brittany said worriedly.
“She? Who?” Nicholas raised a brow.
“I need to go and check!” Brittany ran and enter a car.
“Hey wait!”
She ignited the car’s engine and drove off immediately. Nicholas quickly got in the other car without waiting for his bodyguard.
He drove after her..

SEA**
The car stopped there and Justin looked out of the car. He could see the sea waves and also the sounds produced by them was so calm and soothing.
“Hmm..” Alex moaned out and slowly opened his eyes.
“Where.. Where are we?” He said and sat up then looked out of the car.
His eyes widened when he saw the sea.
“The sea? Why are we here?” He asked and turned to Justin.
He had his head down with his hair covering his eyes.
“Mr Justin?” He called and touched his arm but he still didn’t react.
“No I can’t do this” Justin said inwardly and made to drive them back home but he immediately halted.
Memories of how his parents díed in a car accident, leaving only him and his sister to fend for themselves. How his sister got kidnapped right in front of him and he couldn’t do anything.
The images of her sister being to.rtured which was sent to him.
“You’ll follow each and everyone of my orders if you wanna see your daughter alive. Also I’ll pay you so that you can leave the country with your sister.” Hailey said.
All those events, began htting him hard like a rock and he closed his eyes letting tears stream down his eyes.
“Mr Justin?” Alex called again when he saw him crying. He began to worry.
Justin quickly cleaned his tears and got down the car. He went to Alex’s side of the car and opened the door.
“Get down” He said.
“Mr-”
“I said get down!!” Justin said and brought out his gvn, aiming it at Alex with shaky hands.
“Now..” He said calmly trying not to look at Alex’s eyes.
“Justin..” Alex called in shock and fear.
Justin grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the car then began dragging him towards the sea shore.
“No! What are you doing Mr Justin!!”
“Let me go!!”
“Why are you doing this!!”
Justin released him and faced him..
“I’m sorry Alex please forgive me but I have to do this, there’s no other choice” Justin said and gripped his gun tighter, closing his eyes.
Alex broke down in tears as he stared at him.
“Mr Justin stop this.. You’re scaring me..” He cried.
“Let’s go back home. Mommy is waiting for us” He said, while cleaning his tears.
Justin h!t him on the neck and he immediately passed out. He placed his hand on the trlgger as tears escaped his eyes.
“I’m sorry…” He said and made to pull the trlgger.
“Ahh!!” He let out a groan.
A man brought out the knlfe and st.abbed him a second time on the back. Justin let out a painful groan as he vomited bI.ood.
He managed to turn only to see a man dressed in black from head to toe, he had a mask on.
The man grabbed his collar and rained his face with pvnches, he kept pvnching Justin non stop till Justin was now bI.eeding from the mouth and nose.
He released Justin who fell weakly on the floor. Justin coughed out bI.ood as his back bIed heavily, wetting the floor.
“Just kll me already.. Go on but please, save my sister” Justin said weakly, his eyes were barely open.
The man brought out his gvn and aimed at Justin then sh..ot his tummy without hesitation.
“Argh!!” Justin screamed out.
The sound produced woke up Alex. Alex moved abit on the ground, he opened his eyes but it was all blurry..
The man crouched next to Alex and patted his hair. He touched Alex’s cheek and Justin’s bI.ood which was on his hand stained his cheek
He made to lift Alex up but the sound of cars stopping made him halt. He retracted back his hands and stood up, leaving the scene.
“Alex!!” Brittany screamed out when she saw two figures laying down on the ground. One was covered with bI.ood but he could recognize Alex.
“Alex!!” She screamed and ran to him.
