CHAPTER THIRTY TWO
Forget This Contract
I opened my eyes when I heard my name, I already fell asleep. I stood up and got out of my room. So they really meant it that they’re gonna call me when they’re done, can’t they take their empty plates to the kitchen themselves huh!. I felt like voicing out how angry I am but i faked a smile.
“Alright.” I said and carried the plates, went to the kitchen and dropped ’em in the dish washer. After rinsing ’em, i wanted to place it back at the cupboard above me when I heard a voice.
“Can I help with that?.” A calm voice questioned.
Huh?., I turned swiftly to see him leaning against the kitchen counter. When did he get in here?.
“Uhm no need, thank you.” I say, surprised to see him, wasn’t expecting his presence at all.
“Oh that isn’t nice. Let me help you.” He smiled and got close to me. He grabbed the plate from me behind and placed it inside the cupboard, he is kind of taller than me.
“Thank you.” I stated as I turned to him, we were very close to each other since he is at my back. I began feeling very uncomfortable…
“Uhm..i’ll be going now…” I said politely as I took a step to leave, he took my wrist pulling me back as my heart skipped.
“Hey.” I turned to see those brown eyes staring at me with a smirk on his lips. I stopped surprised he made such an action, why isn’t he with the others??.
“Riley….” He whispered.
“You need anything?.” I asked politely, trying to stay calm.
“Uhm yeah…” He smirked as his eyes pierced into mine, I flinched when his gaze stopped right at my chest.
“Excuse me!.” I yanked off my hand from his and glared at him. How dare him???!.
He chuckled, sucking his lips. How disgusting!., I took a step backward as i threw him a dirty look. How dare he pull me like that huh!. I never knew he could be someone like this!. A pervert!. I scoffed angrily as I turned to leave the kitchen.
He stood right in front of me. “Relax Babe, just wanna have a word with you.” He muttered low.
“Get out of my sight Jacob!.” I seethe.
He chuckled as I frowned. What the hell is funny with what I said huh!.
“Wow, beautiful but stubborn, I like it!. Trust me Riley, you’ll be mine!.” He tells with a straight face.
“You’re a psycho.” I cur$ed, intending to walk past him. He grabbed my wrist again and pulled me to himself. With my small baby bump pressing against his body, I instantly grew nervous and scared.
“Scott doesn’t care about you Riley, it’s nothing but a contract, you know that. So stop being stubborn, be mine…I can take good care of you. I couldn’t help but to fall in love with you that day I sighted those beautiful eyes of yours.” He caressed my cheek.
I wanted to push him away from me but he held my two hands. “Let me go!.” I said.
“Think about it and stop wasting your time being Scott’s fake wife. He only cares about his reputation, nothing else!. Anyways, feel free to give me a feedback.” He pecked my cheek, dropped my hands and walked out of the kitchen.
I breathe out heavily immediately he left. Gosh….what…what just happened!. That pe.rvert!., he got some nerves!. I feel so ashamed I couldn’t do anything!.

I seriously don’t know why Jacob still called for Riley’s attention when we could take the plates to the kitchen ourselves. But anyways I waved that off since I felt it isn’t important.
I felt uneasy so I had to excuse myself to go to the toilet and when I came back, I met just Ryan in the living room going through his phone.
“Dude, where’s Jacob?.” I asked.
He turned to face me. “Oh, he’s at the kitchen.” He shrugged.
What??!. My bIood began boiling up in anger at that instance I heard kitchen. What the h’ll is he doing there huh?. Since when does he care about the kitchen??.
Hold on…..
“Has Riley gone upstairs?.” I had to ask.
“Nope.” He replied.
I clenched my teeth in anger, that….that bch!. What the fk are they doing….together?!.
I wanted to move towards the kitchen but unexpectedly, he approached to us.
“Hey.” He said taking his seat while I stood.
I couldn’t decipher how mad I felt at that moment she also stepped out from the kitchen. So they were really together huh!.
“What the hell could they have been doing together??!.” I wondered.
“So…what were doing you doing at the kitchen?.” I asked him after Riley left for the staircase.
“Nothing.” He shrugged with a smile, I don’t trust that smile of his. Something is up….
“Am being serious bro!.” I said.
“Well chill, I only went for a glass of water, I was thirsty.” He replied.
“Is there a problem Bro?.” Ryan asked politely.
“No, no problem. Just asking.” I smirked.

I hastened my step as I ascended up the staircase so my name wont be called by any of them. I returned to my room making sure the door is closed. Am not stepping my feet out of the room until that jerk face is gone.!
I let out the tears that i was holding back. I feel so angry and ashamed of myself for not being able to do something. How could I allow him to get close to me like that!.

Thunder rumbled as rain began pouring down heavily, I was about to sleep when i heard knocks on the door. I hesitated in opening the door cause my mind drifted to Jacob, what if he is the one…..my mind felt at ease when i opened it, it’s Scott.
Wait….it’s Scott!. What does he want??.
He entered inside without my approval and slammed the door shut. I became frightened, is everything okay??, I could tell his facial expression this time, he looks angry. Why?. Have I done anything wrong?.
“Sc..”
“What were you doing with him?.!” He cuts in, folding his hands, giving me a straight cold look that sent chills down my spine.
“Huh?.” I muttered confusedly.
“You and Jacob, you two were in the kitchen together.” He stated.
My heart skipped twice. Is he aware of what happened between i and that jerk??. Did he see how Jacob kssed my cheek???. Then, what does he mean….?.
“I…uhm..
“It’s obvious there’s something going on between you two, i never knew you could be this cheap.” He scoffed.
What???. Okay…..he has no right to call me cheap!!!.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about Scott, nothing happened between us!.” I said.
Well you don’t expect me to narrate all what Jacob did to me, that pe.rvert!. Only God knows what could have happened if Scott caught us that moment he pulled me close to himself!. I am sure something bad could have happened.
But wait a sec, even if he sees us like that, he has no right to get mad , right?.
He frowned moving close to me till my back touched the back, he placed his two hands on the wall, caging me with his arms.
He looked directly into my eyes and voiced out harshly. “Get this straight Riley, I don’t ever want to see you being close to Jacob or anyone!. The day you do such, you’re gonna regret it!.”
“And why is that Scott?!. Why are you mad about it?!. Even if we did something, it’s none of your business!. Why do you always dictate the people i am supposed to talk to huh!.?.” I said to him.
I was starting to get annoyed cause I absolutely see no reason why he should yell at me, asking annoying questions.
“What?.” He asked and i caught a glimpse of how he seemed kind of shocked for a sec.
“You heard me Scott. We ain’t really together, you and I know that!. Stop telling me what to do when this sht between us is nothing but a dmn contract!. Am tired of all these!. Am doing my job being your fake wife and you should at least respect that!.” I half yelled and pushed him away from me gently.
“How dare you talk to me like that!.?.” He raised up his hand to hit me.
“What???!. You’re gonna slap me and then rape me huh?!. Well go ahead you monster!. Do it so you can kill my unborn child, isn’t that what you wanted!.” I yelled at him.
He chuckled as he dropped his hand that was in the air as he gave me the most deadliest look ever.
“Nope, not gonna do that.” He smirked.
