I opened my eyes and sat up. Checking the time, it was some minutes past 4pm
I decided to go horse riding. Even when I know my dad is definitely against it.
I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I needed to think. I needed to find a way of going to the stables without getting father angry.
The perfect person to use is my sister. Dad always see her as the perfect daughter with the perfect character.
All I need to do is make her accept to take the blame if dad finally catch me
I smiled mischievously
I know I can be so cunning at times but that’s just me.
I left the bathroom and went into the closet. I decide to dress like a cowgirl, against dad’s will
He said it’s unethical for a princess. As if I care
I wore a whit shirt, brown pants, brown jacket and a brown hat.
“I will go see my sis” I thought
I sat on the bed to wear my boots when there was a knock on the door. I quickly wear it and stood up to open the door.
Lo and behold, it was my sis
“Everlyn” I cooed
??Everlyn??
Today is so boring, I checked the time and it was few minutes past 4pm. I was bored, so I decided to take a walk. I went to the garden and take a sit, watching the maids water the flowers.
“Good evening princess” Vera one of the maids greeted and I nodded
Dinner should be ready by 6pm. I have over an hour to sit down doing nothing. I wished Lian was here
He went back to Chinese to visit his parent. He’s partly Chinese and partly North Richland.
I just wish he was here, to make me feel happy and less bored.
I logged into my Instagram page to see if there’s anything new to keep me busy. But there was nothing.
“Why don’t I check on Taliyah” I thought
At least I can use that opportunity to know where she was sneaking to in the morning.
I left the garden and went back to the palace. I got to her room and knocked at the door. The door opened
“Everlyn” she cooed
She chuckled slightly
“Big sis, I’m about checking up on you” she said dragging me into her room
Why do I have this feeling she’s up to somthing
She was dressed in a brown pant and jacket, white shirt and a brown hat
“Why is she dressed like this?” I thought
“Are you heading out?” I asked
She sat on the bed
“Well” she said blinking her lashes rapidly
“Do you love me sis?” She asked
What sort of question is that?
“Why are you even asking?” I asked back
“Because, I want to know” she replied resting her leg on the other
“What are you up to Liyah?” I asked
She smiled. She moved closer to me and held my hand
“Sis, is there anything I will ask that you won’t do for me?” She asked
“Liyah, what exactly do you want? You know I hate too many questions” I replied getting pissed off already
She chuckled
“Ok, ok. If I say it, will you do it?” She asked again
“G©sh. Taliyah just say what you want, you know if I can I will definitely do it” I answered
She placed her palm over her face, sobbing
“Taliyah, can you stop being a cry baby” I said
“You don’t love me sis” she cried
“Taliyah” I cooed
“You don’t love me Everlyn but you claim you do” She increased her sobbing
G©sh, who will believe she’s 23
I groaned
What sort of a sister is this?
“You know what, I will do what you want. Just stop crying” I said
She removed her hand partly from her face
“You will?” She asked soberly
“Yes, if you stop crying” I replied
She removed her hand from her face
“Yes!!” she screamed
“Now tell me what exactly you want” I said
“No need sis, you will find out soon” she replied
She stood up from the bed and took her coat
“Taliyah, you have to tell me” I said
She walked to the door and open it
“Thank sis” she said running out of the room
“Taliyah!!!” I screamed

I just hope she doesn’t cause trouble

I ran out of my room and bump into my brother
“Hey” he cooed
“Sorry Ares” I said panting
“Where are you going dressed like this?” He asked
“Well” I gradually touched the tips of my hair
“Everlyn asked me to take her horse for a walk” I replied sheepishly
“Everlyn?” He asked
“Yes. You can ask her if you want to” I replied smiling
He eyed me suspiciously
“That’s strange. Dad’s against you going close to the stable, let alone touching a horse. How could she tell you to do it” he replied
“Yes, I know. I’m not riding it. I will just supervise the person in charge” I answered
“Liyah, I know you too well, tell me the truth” he said
I laughed
“You see, I am just bored and you know that dad wouldn’t let me visit my friends, so I just needed to feed my eyes. That’s all” I replied fondling with the tip of my shirt
“Taliyah. But you know how much dad hate you dressing like this?” He said
“You can tell dad you ask me to wear it” I replied
“What? You want me to tell dad that?” He asked
“Of course” I walked closer to him and held his hand
“You are my big bro right and you’re suppose to look out for me and take care of me. Or won’t you?” I asked
“Of course I will” he replied
I chuckled
“I take that as a yes” I replied
“Yes for what?” He asked
“You will tell dad you let me wear this” I replied pointing to my clothes
“Taliyah, you are so c…..” I did not let him finish his statement
“Thank Ares” I said hugging him
“I will visit my friends on my way back” I whispered to his hearing
“Don’t you dare” he said
“I love you” I said blowing him ksses
I could hear him groan while I walk away
I got to the stable. It’s been over 17 years since I came to this place. Dad wouldn’t let me because of the incident that happened some years back.
I was 6 when it happened. That day, I went horse riding with dad. Although he was always cautious of me because of how stubborn and wilful I can be, he still let me go with him.
We got to the stable and he let out two horses. He help me sit on the horse. He handed over the rope to his guard and asked him to look out for me.
At first, I enjoyed the ride but soon, I felt the horse was moving too slow. I wanted it fast. Since I was holding a stick, and was not comfortable with the horse’s slow movement, I hit it with the stick.
It began to run so fast, just the way I wanted, making the guard lose his grip on the rope. Soon, I lost control of the horse and couldn’t stop it.
Dad was terrified. He told me not to leave the rope, that he will save me but being so sturbborn and for the fact that i felt he was too slow in saving me, i let go of the rope and tried standing on the horse.
That was the last thing I remembered, I woke up some days later. Dad was furious, mom was afraid. Ares and Everlyn wouldn’t stop crying.
I later found out that the doctor said I won’t be able to walk for some time.
Ever since then, dad has prevented me from riding horse or even getting closer to the stable.
But here I am, ready to explore
“Princess, you shouldn’t be here. The king forbids it” Author said
He is in charge of the stable
I turned to face him
“Well. My sister asked me to check her horse for her” I replied
“I’m sorry my princess. The king forbids your coming here” he replied
I rolled my eyes
“If you don’t allow me get close to the horse. I will scream and tell everyone you tried killing me” I said
“Bu…..but that’s a lie” he stuttered
I smiled
“Do you want to dare me, ?” I asked
“No my princess but I can’t go against the king’s order” he replied
Wow! It’s harder than I thought
“Ok, you win. But can you just show me my sister’s horse and I will be out of here” I replied
“No princess”
I pouted like a baby
“Please” I cooed giving him my best puppy eyes
He groaned
“Ok, ok, that’s it over there” he said pointing to a white horse
“I need to find a way of getting the horse out” I thought
Yes.!!! That’s it!!!
That’s the perfect plan!!!
