“Lian!” I called surprised
He moved closer smiling
“You’re dripping” Everlyn said
That’s when I realised I was still in a towel, not just a towel but a wet one
I chuckled slightly, kinda embarrassed
“Take this” she handed over some clothes to me
“I’ll tell the guards to get you cold water. I bet you haven’t taken your bath” she said
I rolled my eyes
“You look really tired! Have you eaten?” Lian asked
“Not really!” I replied
Did I just say not really!!!
I haven’t f**king eat anything for 24 hours
“We brought you some food but you should eat this first” Melvin gave me two chilled apples
I took it and bite it immediately
“Hmmmmmm oooohhhh” I cooed trying to eat it as fast as I could
It was extremely cold inside
“Chill, it all yours” Melvin said and Lian chuckled
“I’m so sorry I broke my promise Lian” I apologised
He smiled, holding my hand
“I knew you will but never knew it will be few days after you promised” he said
I giggled
I wanted to say something but Everlyn entered with a guard holding two buckets of water
Guess it’s time to have a semi proper shower
Did I say shower?
I mean bath!!
A semi proper bath!!
The guard dropped them in the bathroom and left
“Go take your bath” Melvin cooed
I took the clothes Everlyn brought and headed for the bathroom
Phew!!!!
I placed my hand into the water and oh my!!!
It’s cold just the way I need it
I carried one of the buckets and poured its content into the bathtub and added my liquid soap.
I removed my towel and stepped into it
Wow!!
“I can as well enjoy my cold bath” I thought

Are you kidding me?!!!” I asked amidst laughters
Lian was explaining what happened in China
“It’s really funny!!’ Melvin said
Everlyn and I nodded in agreement
“I was thinking if I could talk to the king to let you both come to China. There’s going to be an exhibition. Involving paintings, sewing and many others” Lian said
I chuckled at the hearing of paintings
“No I don’t think we need to go” Everlyn answered
What!!!
“But Everlyn it’s just an exhibition!!!” I said almost in a yell
She ignore me
“Dad’s against Liyah drawing and painting so I don’t think he will let us go” she said
“Dad or you?” I said hissing loud enough for her to hear
Even though dad is against me drawing or painting, he still let me attend art exhibitions but Everlyn, she believes I will end up fumbling.
She glare at me but I ignore
“Lian let’s go” she said dragging him up
“Hey chill” he replied
“Don’t tell me you guys are already having a beef” Melvin said
I rolled my eyes
“Everlyn has always been a pain in the ass when it comes to my paintings” I complained
“That’s because dad is against it” she yelled
“But dad still let me draw until you made him believe it’s unethical for a princess!!” I fired back
“Really!!! You’re putting the blame on me!!!” She flare up
“Hey!!!!” Lian yelled making us stop talking
“Can you two please chill” he said
“Do you have to quarrel over little things?!!” He asked
“I’m sorry” I said
“Liyah you should apologise to your sister” he said
I rolled my eyes
“I’m sorry sis” I muttered
She ignore
“Evy come on” he said
“Everlyn, she said she’s sorry” Melvin said
“Ok I’m sorry too” she replied
“I have another news to share” Lian said
“What?” We asked together
“The king agreed to a dinner this night which means Liyah will be released tonight” he said smiling
Did I hear him correctly!!!
“I…..i…… I will be out of here this night?” I asked not sure if I heard him well
“Yes but in courtesy to your good behaviour” he replied
I jumped on him
“Thank you. Thank you so much” I said hugging him
“You’re suffocating me” he said
I released my grib on his neck, giggling
“Sorry” I muttered
“I’m happy for you” Melvin said
I couldn’t stop giggling
“Thank Li” Everlyn said hugging him
I smiled
Although she can be a pain in the ass, she still got my back. She still stand for me but not when it comes to painting though.
I went to hug her
“Thanks sis” I cooed
She smiled
“Well I think we should get going. Lian needs some rest before it’s time for dinner ” Everlyn said
“Yea” I replied feeling sad
“Don’t be sad, I’m still here” Melvan said
I turned to face him
“You’re?” I asked
“Sure, I won’t leave until you’re released” he said
“Thanks bff!!” I hug him
“Take care sis” Everlyn said hugging me for the last time
“I will see you at dinner” Lian said hugging me too
I watch them leave
“So what will we be doing before my release?” I asked
“Hmmm, let’s play a game” he said
I chuckled
“I’m in!!!” I yelled
He laughed
I smile
I thought today is going to be a long and boring day but seems luck shine on me!!!

It’s few minutes past 5pm according to Melvin’s watch. Dad has ordered for my release just like Lian said
I am really so happy
The guard excorted me and Melvin back to the palace. It was as if I have been released from prison
Of course that’s what just happen!!!
We got to the palace to meet dad, mom and Ares waiting
“Mom!!” I cooed running into her arms
“You look malnourished”mom complained
I chuckled
” I missed you!!” I replied
“I miss you too, I just wish you will behave like a normal princess” mom said
“Mom, I can’t promise that” I whispered
Mom hit me playfully
“I don’t want you to promise” she said
“Are you still angry with your father?” Dad asked
I turned
I walked closer to him and hug him
“I wish I can stay angry with you father but I can’t” I said
“I’m so sorry darling” he said pecking me on my forehead
“Is there anything you want me to do for you?” He asked
Perfect!!!
I release my self from him
“Dad, Lian said something about an Exhibition in China. I will love to go with Everlyn” I said shyly
“It’s an art exhibition right?” He asked
“No dad it contains different things too like sewing, baking and many more” I answered
“Did Everlyn accept to go with you?” He asked
I chuckled
“She said she will if you will let us” I replied
“If that’s what you want then you can attend” he said
I hug him happily
“Thanks dad” I cooed
“But can Melvin go too?” I asked not too sure if dad will accept but surprisingly he did
“Melvin will you like to go with them?” dad asked
“If you will let me, my king” he answered bowing
“You’ve earn my trust over this few months. I entrust Liyah to you. Hope you will be able to keep an eye on her in China” dad said
“I promise my king” he answered
“Thanks dad”
He smiled
“Now go get some rest. I will ask the maids to make you your favourite. You really look malnourished just like your mother said” he said
I nodded
“Mom, I will go in now” I said
She nodded
I said goodbye to Melvin and went into my room happily
“Since dad has agreed to let me go to China for the exhibition, I will remain a good girl until then” i thought
I chuckled at my stupid thought
Can I stay without getting into trouble for a day not to talk of a week?
I think I will try my possible best to be

I decided to take a stroll before I go get prepare for the dinner. I got to the garden and sat down
Oh I miss this
The fresh air, the flora and fauna taste
I miss everything
I rested my back on the wooden chair, enjoying the weather
“Hey sis” Everlyn greeted
I sit up
“Hey” I cooed
“You told dad about the exhibition?” She asked
“Yes” I replied
“And what did he say?” She asked
“He accept. He accept we go together including Melvin” I beamed
“Really?” She asked again
I nodded
“Did you tell him it’s an art exhibition?” He asked
I rolled my eyes
“Of course. Look Evy dad might not be comfortable with my paintings but he still let me attend exhibitions” i replied
“Really, wait until I tell him I won’t be going so he shouldn’t let you” she said
“Evy!! Come on!” I said
“Please don’t do that!!” I pleaded
She beamed
“Beg me” she said
“Please!!!!!” I pleaded
I move closer to her
“You know I’m you little sis right? and you promised to always make me happy” I said
I pouted
“Ok I will go with you but you must promise to dress and act like a princess until we leave for china” she said
I beamed
“I will. I promise” I said
“Not just that, you won’t get into trouble when we get there!” She replied
“I promise. I promise!!” I said
“Is that a deal?” She asked
“Sure!!” I replied
“Thanks” I said hugging her
She pulled herself from the hug
“We should go get ready for the dinner” she said standing up
I stood up also
“Yea”
“See you at dinner” she said walking away
“Yea, see you” I cooed
Time to go dressed in some stupid princess clothes!!!
