Michael’s POV
.
I arrived at the agency and see everyone moving around in a haste probably to find solution to what’s happening.
I was heading to the chief’s office when agent raven joined me.
” Good morning Sir ” agent raven said as she got to me.
” morning, you seen the news?” I asked.
” I think everyone does, the chief wants us in his office ” she said as we walk together.
” have they find out who was behind the attack? ” I asked.
” I don’t know, hopefully that’s why they called us” she replied then we arrived at the chief’s office and knocked.
” come in” the chief responded and we entered.
” Good morning Sir ” we both greeted as we entered as they were both seated.
” morning agents” the chief replied as we stood before them.
” Fill them in” chief said giving the deputy chief the go ahead.
” Yes sir”
” I’m very sure both of you are well aware of the unfortunate event which took place this morning ” he said.
” do we have any clue to who is behind this?” I asked.
” well, it turns out they belong to the group we went up against yesterday ”
” they acted out probably as retaliation to what happened ” he explained.
” It can’t be just that, there’s more to this ” I said.
” who are they and why are they doing this?”
” what do they want with the package? ”
” What exactly is the package? ” I asked curiously.
” I told you it’s a high level co……….”
” it’s okay Mr Hassan, tell him what we know” the chief said interrupting him. .
” okay sir”
” we don’t know much about it, just like I told you before it is a military device”
” the only thing we know is that it’s very dangerous which is why we need to make sure it doesn’t fall in the wrong hands ” the deputy chief replied.
” How do we know their aim? ” I asked.
” that’s what we are hoping to find out” he replied then continue.
” And Thanks to both of you, the men who were apprehended yesterday were interrogated and they gave out their hideout ” he explained.
” I’m sending you two along with few more agents to clear them out and eliminate the threat” he said.
” Sir, we both can do this ourselves ” I said.
” I know that, but I need a clean sweep and we can’t take any chances ”
” we can’t let anyone of them get away for what happened today not to repeat itself ” he said.
” yes Sir ”
” do you have any other questions?” he asked.
” No Sir ” we replied.
” Gear up, you leave in 10″ he said.
” yes sir” we replied then went out.

Since we are given an elimination order I can’t take the D-gun with me and besides these men deserve it for what they did.
We were given the coordinate then we entered the car along with seven more agents and we drove off.

After some minutes driving I realized we were heading towards the forest according to the coordinate.
Few minutes minutes later the car stopped because it couldn’t go any further cause of the ridge.
” Now listen to me everyone, we don’t know what’s ahead so we are going in blind”
” We best way to carry this out without no casualties is if we do this with stealth” I advised.
” Do you copy? ” I asked.
” copy sir” they replied.
” Good, stay sharp and frosty…….let’s move out ”
We all got down from the car with our rifle in our hands and move out into the forest.
We move towards the sound coming from a direction and signalled to three agents to cover the left flank.
Then direct three more to cover the right flank, agent raven and I with another agent head directly towards them.

Mike and the other got to where the enemies are and found some sitting, while some are moving around and they are all heavily armed.
” Alpha 2, sitrep” Mike asked through the comms.
” in position sir” he replied.
” Alpha 3, sitrep” Mike asked again.
” in position sir” he also replied.
” Good, now pick your target and make it count ”
” Now” He said then they all came out of hiding and started shooting at them.
Some of them were quick enough to grab their weapon and started shooting back at them.
Mike and his men have then surrounded and they killed most of them while some made a run for it.
” None of them must escape and I need one alive ” Mike ordered and they started running after them.

As they were running after they were caught unaware as the enemies shoot at them and three of them were hit.
” Stay down” Mike shouted and hid behind a rock.
” Agent raven with me, the rest of you stay with the injured ” he ordered and they ran after them.

Soon they caught up with them and started shooting at them, the last one tried to shoot at Mike then agent raven shot him first.
” No!, I want one alive” Mike shouted as he went to the man.
” I’m sorry, he was aiming towards you ” agent raven said.
” Hey, Hey……don’t you die” Mike said shaking the man vigorously as he bleed.
” Why are you doing this?”
“…..why did you kill those kids?” Mike asked.
” What are talking about?…..my men would never do something as small as that”
” we like to think big” he said smiling which got Mike more confused.
” You’re saying you’re not behind the attack? ”
” then who is?, why are you after the military package? ” Mike asked again.
” Everyone is after the package, it holds great destruction and everyone wants to have it” he said.
” who else is after the package?, and who caused the attack?” Mike asked and the man smiled.
” like I said, everyone is after it……b-but, I only know of one person ” he said as his breath was slowing down.
” Who, answer me….. Who?” Mike asked.
” P-peruzad”
” Peruzad?, who is Peruzad? ”
” where can I find him? ” Mike asked.
” No one knows who he is,…….but his gang are located in the forest called…….”
” what?…. Hey?”
” Sa…adam” he said then stopped breathing.
” SHT, I knew it……..There’s a lot more to this” Mike said.
” what do we do now?” Raven asked.
” I need to contact the base, we are heading to the forest of Saddam” he said then contacted the base.
” Hawk to Base, come in over ”
” copy agent Hawk, what’s your status? ” the deputy chief requested.
” enemy down but I’m afraid we nabbed the wrong enemy ” Mike replied.
” what do you mean? ” he asked.
” it turns there are other people looking for this package”
” Does the name Peruzad sound any familiar to you? ” Mike asked.
” Negative, why? ” he replied.
” it turns out Peruzad is behind the attack, and now I think we might have a location ” Mike said.
” Good job, what do you need? ” he asked.
” I don’t know what we are going up against, so I need you to send backup to us in Saddam forest” Mike said.
” copy that, i’ll send the name around and see if anyone can put a face to the name, what do you call it again? ”
” Peruzad ” Mike replied.
” copy, anyone of them still alive? ” he asked.
” Nah, they are all dead but they are terrorists so they deserved it” Mike replied.
” copy that, you will have your backup, keep me posted ”
” be safe son” he said.
” Yes sir, Hawk out ” Mike said then disconnect.

” you guys did good but this is where you stop” Mike said as he got to the other agents.
” agent raven and I will carry on with the mission, while the rest of you help the wound back to base” He added.
” Yes sir ” they replied then went back to the car and drove off.
Mike and agent raven entered one of the enemies cars and also drove off.

Few hours later, they arrive in Saddam forest and they both got down and soon more cars joined them.
At first they thought they were Peruzad’s men but they noticed familiar faces.
” we are the backup sir ” one of them said.
” Nice, listen…….shoot, if and only if they raise fire”
” There’s something going on and I want to know what it is”
” so we are not here to kill but to capture, do you copy? ” I said.
” Yes sir” they replied.
” move out ”
.
They moved into the forest together and also on the lookout for any impact.
They arrived at their camp and found them together then Mike signalled for them to surround them.
Soon they have them all surrounded and used his hand as countdown and they charged.
” GET ON THE GROUND, ALL OF YOU, STAY ON THE GROUND”
The men were all taken by surprise and they stopped what they are doing and kneel on the ground.
” cuff them all” Mike said and they started cuffing them then signaled to agent raven to check the main tent.
Just as agent raven entered the tent she was hit by a bullet which sent her to the ground.
” Fk” Mike muttered then ran into the tent.
The man saw him and started shooting at him but Mike was quick enough jump away.
Mike ran very quick towards him and shoot the gun from his hand then shoot both his legs as well.
” Aaaaaaaahhhhh” the man screamed in pain.
” that’s for my partner ” Mike said then dragged him outside then went to agent raven.
” are you alright? ” he asked.
” I’ll be fine, i’ll be fine ” she replied groaning in pain.
” yeah you’ll be, just put pressure on that” Mike said then turned to one of the agents.
” get her to medical, immediately ” he ordered.
” yes Sir ” the agent replied then did as ordered then Mike went to the leader of the terrorist.
” you can kill me all you want but I’m not telling you sht” the man said.
” actually, you will” Mike said then press down on his wound.
” aaaaahhhhh, you prlck, fk up” he screamed.
” I can do this all day, so tell me who is Peruzad? ” Mike asked.
” I don’t know”
” I’ll again this time around I want an honest answer, who is Peruzad? ” Mike asked again.
” I don’t know and that’s the truth, no one knows who he is” he answered.
” you telling me you don’t know who you work for? ”
” don’t worry, when I’m done with you……..You will tell me everything ” Mike said then turned to agent.
” cuff him and put him in the truck” he instructed.
” yes Sir ”
” he knows who you are, Peruzad can see everything and he’s coming for you too”
” he won’t stop until he kills you and everyone you care about” the man said smiling.
” then I’ll be expecting him” Mike replied.
As the agent made to cuff him he draw out a da.gger from his boot and killed himself which surprised everyone.
” what the he.ll……shit” mike muttered.
” Dmn” he said then turned to the other arrested terrorist.
” who is Peruzad? ” he asked.
” We don’t know any Peruzad, please believe us”
” we only work for him for the money, we don’t know any Peruzad ” they said.
” That’s a lie, you’re all lying ” Mike shouted.
” That’s the true, He only told us Peruzad will reward us handsomely if the mission is complete” one of them said.
” what is the mission?” Mike asked.
” we don’t know ” they replied.
” are there others out there?” he asked again.
” we don’t know” they replied honestly and he knew they are telling the truth.
” And the only person who have a clue killed himself”
” ohhhh, Fk me”
