Episode 8
In the morning, both Michael and Mercy were dressed up and ready for the mission.
Mercy came out of her room and met him already waiting for her in the parlour.
” Dmn brother, you look good in that Tux” she commented and he rolled his eyes.
” I know, can we go now?” He said.
” That’s rude, won’t you say anything about my dress?” She asked.
” not even how I look” she added.
” You look just the same, can we go now?” He said instead.
” I know what you’re doing, it’s because you’re jealous and more beautiful than your girlfriend”
” Oh yeah, I forgot…..you don’t have any” she said sarcastically.
” Where’s yours?” He countered.
” I have a boyfriend and he’s so much cute and handsome than your pathetic self” she replied grinning.
” Meet me in the car or I’ll dump here” he replied then went out.
” Oops, look like I hit a nerve” she muttered smiling then went after him.

They arrived at the company and saw cars entering the company and he parked the car at a nice spot.
” Act cool Mercy, this is serious and also we are not here to kill anybody” Mike warned.
” Copy that” she replied and they went to where the party is taking place.
They were stopped by security who asked for their invite and mike show them his and they entered.
” Wow, now this is what we called a party” she said looking around and the waiter went to them.
” Champagne” the waiter offered.
” No, we are good ” Mike replied and she turned to him.
” Speak for yourself, champagne please” she replied the grabbed a glass.
” Are you kidding me?….we are not here for this” he said.
” Enough brother, have some fun and besides in situations like this you have to blend in” she said taking a sip.
” If you keep staring around like that it won’t be long before the guards notice there’s something wrong with you”
” You just stand there looking around like a thief who came to steal, oh yes, you’re a thief” she said smiling.
” Bringing you is a mistake” he muttered.
” Calm down bro, all is well” she said smiling.
” So tell me what are we looking for?” She asked.
” Nothing, we just need to get to the control room” he replied.
” Come, let’s dance” she said.
” What!”
” Shut up, and let’s dance” she said and he joined her and they started dancing.
” What are we doing Mercy?…..I should looking for a way to the control room” he said.
” Chief security, standing guard at 10:00″
” Dome camera 3:00″
” Count 7 out on the right and 5 on the left” she informed.
” The stairs at 12:00 probably leading to the control room” she added.
” I see, but how do I pass through without them seeing me” he asked.
” Got you covered” she replied then bring out a wrist watch.
” Dad’s watch” Mike recognized.
” It’s mine now, dad already got another…. That one is way cooler” she replied.
” So listen this is what we are going to do, I’ll take out the light for fifteen minutes giving you enough time to do what you want” she said.
” No, you can’t……I need electricity to do that” he said.
” How about you hack the camera and maybe you can help me distract the guards” he said and she smiled.
” Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered” she replied then pressed a button on the watch and the camera went off.
” Camera is down” she said.
” How do you plan on distracting them?” He asked.
” Wait here, the DJ and I are going to have a ruse” she said then went to the DJ.

” Hey” she said as she got to him.
” Wassup” the DJ replied.
” Good, do you mind changing the music…… it’s Just too boring, play something nice” she said.
” I’m sorry I can’t, this is what I was told to play and nothing else, the host have complete control of the music” the DJ replied.
” Oh c’mon, they don’t expect us to be sleeping at a party, just do something about it or I’ll make you” she said.
” What’s going on here?” A lady same age as Mercy came around to them.
” Miss Gail, this lady here requested a change in music” the DJ said.
” Sorry Miss, the music stay that way and that’s the kind they played in parties like this If you’ve ever been to one” the lady said.
” Ouch, what an insult, you crazy bch” Mercy said.
” What did you just call me?” The lady said.
” Yes, you heard me right the first time”
” You’re a bch and a glorified pro$titute” Mercy said again which angered the lady.
She made to slap Mercy but she was fast enough to caught her hand then Mercy slap her back.
She screamed and fell to the ground and Mercy pounce on her which made people to gather around them.
The guards all left their position and went to separate them which gave Mike the opportunity to go through the stairs.
Mercy keep on slapping the girl until the guards came to separate them.
” Leave me, let me beat her to pulp” she said trying to free herself as the guards dragged her outside.
” You can leave now Miss” the guards said.
” Fine, whatever…..your party is boring anyways” she said then went away.

Mike continue walking around until he found the control room and found just one guard there.
He sneak in carefully until he’s behind him then grabbed him and rendered him unconscious.
He looked for the mainframe and when he found he found it, he plugged the USB drive in it.
He waited for the process to complete before removing it then noticed glitches on the system.
‘ wow, this virus is fast’ he thought then went out and on his way out he saw some guards at the entrance.
He pulled out his phone then dialled Mercy’s phone which she picked immediately.
” Are you done?” She said immediately.
” Yeah, but I’m stuck here…..the guards are everywhere” he said.
” Oh, you need another distraction?” She asked.
” Yeah, but this time around don’t beat anybody” he said and she smiled.
” Don’t worry, I won’t beat anybody” she said then ended the call.
Mercy looked around the place to make sure there are no guards around then picked up an iron rod.
He went over to car parked at the parking lot then started smashing their glasses and the alarm set off.
She smashed about seven car which makes the alarm more louder and she quickly ran away.
People started coming out of the party one after the other to the see the car smashed.
Those who owns the car started shouting and screaming angrily as the guards tried to calm them.
All the guards left the position again which the way for Mike again and he quickly went out.
Those whose cars are still intact quickly entered their car and drove off, Mike entered his and drove off as well.
He picked up Mercy on the road and they drove home.
” How was my performance today?” She asked as they got home.
” Good but you damaged lot of things” Mike said as he sat down.
” Duh, you’re trapped and that’s the fastest distraction I could think of” she replied.
” Fine, Thank you sis” he said.
” You’re welcome”
” But don’t you think the CCTV around the place could easily detect my face” she said.
” Oh, you don’t have to worry about that…..the virus in their system will wipe off all their data” he replied.
” Great, so what did you went there to STEAL?” She asked emphasizing the steal.
” I told you I’m not stealing, I’m more like stopping and preventing some things” Mike said.
” So what is it, you went to prevent?” She asked.
” It’s classified” he replied and she burst into laughter.
” Seriously, you’re using your agency code on me…… you’re crazy” she said.
” Sorry, I can’t tell you” he said.
” whatever, now get into the kitchen and make us dinner, I’m famished” she said.
” But, you’re the lady in the house” Mike said.
” And I’m the guest here, so hurry up” she said then he nodded and went to the kitchen.

{Next Day}

Mercy woke up and went to the kitchen to drink water, she noticed Mike is not anywhere around.
Then she heard a sound coming from a corner of the house and she followed the sound.
She opened the door and she was surprised to see a gym and her brother training.
” Wow, Mike……I didn’t know this place exist in the house” she said as she entered.
” How would you?… you just got here” he replied as he continue sparing.
” No wonder you’re getting bigger and with muscle” she said.
” Are you checking me out?” He asked.
” Something like that, but remember, muscles don’t make you a better fighter, it’s just for physical appearance” she said.
” Whatever”
” C’mon, spar with me……I want to spread my arms, it’s been a while since I trained” she said putting on the boxing gloves.
” You think you can take on me?…..I’m not that boy any longer” Mike said as they both faced each other.
” Only one way to find” she said then charged at him.
They both continue fighting and as Mike made to punch her she dodge it and landed one on him.
” You’re vulnerable on your left side” she said smiling.
” I don’t need you telling me” he replied then charged at her.
She made to pu nch him again then Mike grabbed her hand then made to punch her on the face but she was quick enough to dodge it.
” C’mon Mikey, I’m faster” she said grinning.
” And I’m stronger” Mike said grabbing her from the ground and made to smash her to the ground.
She quickly and swiftly made a skillful turn then grabbed his arm trying to suppress him.
” You can tap out, Mike…..you can’t beat me” she said twisting his arm.
” Fine, fine, you win” Mike said and she released him.
” Dmn, are you even a girl?” Mike said and she smiled.
” I’m not” she replied.
” I’m going to work, please don’t do anything crazy today” he warned.
” What am I supposed to do in this house all by myself?” She asked.
” You should have thought about that before coming here” he replied then went out.

Mike arrived at the agency and went straight to the chief’s office then knocked.
” Come in” he heard and he entered.
” Agent Hawk, please come in” the chief said.
” Morning Sir” Mike greeted.
” How was it?” He asked.
” Accomplished sir” Mike answered handing the USB over to him.
” Great job Mike, I knew I could count on you…..Good job” he replied.
” Thank you sir” he said then he went out.

A while after when Mike is in his office a knock came on the door.
” Come in” he said then one of the agents entered.
” Wassup, Pete” Mike said.
” There’s this hot lady right there asking of you, she said you’re a friend” Pete said and he furrowed his brow.
” A lady?…. who is she?” He asked.
” She didn’t say…..but damn she’s hot” Pete said grinning.
” Describe her” he said.
” She’s beautiful and she has this glint of fire in her eyes and……”
” Never mind, I know who she is…. Thank you” he said then Pete went out.
” This girl is going to put me into trouble”
