UNKNOWN ENEMY: Episode 1 – 10
I arrived at the agency and greet few agents on the way before heading straight to my office.
On my way to my office I met the deputy chief who was on his way out .
” Good morning sir” I greeted.
” Good morning, Mike……how are you doing?” He asked.
” Good sir” I replied.
” Nice, the chief wants you in his office, I think he has something for you” he said.
” You found out who Peruzad is?” I asked eagerly.
” Oh no, it’s probably for something else… about Peruzad, we are still looking for him”
” Don’t worry, the word is out already…..he will be caught soon” he added.
” Thank you sir” i replied then we went out separate ways.
I arrived at the chief’s office and knocked and I heard him invite me in and I entered.
” Good morning boss” I greeted as I entered.
” Agent Rolland, please sit” he replied then I sat down and stopped what he’s doing and faced me.
” I have a mission for you” he said.
” Okay Sir” I replied.
” This is a top level mission and I shouldn’t be sending you since it’s above your clearance Level”
” But I’m out of choice and you’re the best in this agency so far and you’re making your way to an upper level” he said.
” What’s the mission boss?” I asked.
” Do you know Ramah Technology?” He asked and I can remember the place.
” Yes Sir, it’s a multimillionaire technology company” I answered.
” Yes”
” What about them Sir?” I asked.
” We got an Intel that they are making a very dangerous bioweapon and they are almost done” he explained.
” We challenge them about it and they denied all of it but our informant made it known, they are still at it” he added.
” What do we do sir?” I asked.
” We don’t have proof to stop them so there’s nothing we can do about it” I added.
” We can’t let them do this…..which is why I’m sending you to them” he said.
” What will you have me do?” I asked.
” There’s a c……….” He was interrupted as my phone started ringing.
I checked it and realized it’s an unknown number so I ignored it.
” Please go on Sir” I said then he continued.
” There’s a celebration at the company tonight and you’re going to be there” he said.
” But Sir, in parties like that you’ll need an invite” I said then he dipped his hand inside his jacket.
” Which is why I got you this, an invitation letter” he said then handed it to me.
” Okay sir”
” I need y………” He was interrupted again as my phone started ringing and it’s the same unknown number so i muted it.
” I’m sorry Sir, please continue”
” I need you to infiltrate their company unnoticed, you can’t be seen doing this” he added.
” They mustn’t see your face while you do this, if you’re caught it will be a problem for the agency” he said.
” What exactly do I have to do ?” I asked then my phone started ringing again.
” Maybe you should pick that, it could be important,”
” don’t worry about the mission….we still have time” he said.
” I’m sorry sir” I said then went out to answer it.
” Who is this?” I asked angrily.
” Are you dodging my call?” I heard a familiar voice on the other side.
” Mercy?”
” Why are you calling me?, I’m at work” I said.
” I know, you doofus”
” You think if I wanted to call anyone it will you?” She said in her crazy manner.
” Fine, what do you want?” I asked in defeat.
” Come get me out” she said which I find confusing.
” Get you out?, What are you talking about?” I asked.
” I’m at the police station” she said making it more confusing.
” Police station?, Who did you went to report?” I asked.
” Actually, I was arrested a while ago” she said which surprised me.
” I’m sorry, I don’t understand”
” You mean the police came over to the house and arrest you?” I asked.
” Stop all these questions Moron, come to waza police station and don’t be late, I don’t want to spend any more time here” she said then ended the call.
‘ oh God, what’s the meaning of this?’
‘ this girl will eventually drive me crazy soon’
I groan in frustration then I went back to the chief’s office.
” I’m sorry about that Sir” I apologise as I entered.
” Is everything alright?” He asked.
” Yes sir, it’s just my crazy and annoying friend” I replied.
” Okay, take this” he said giving me a USB drive.
” I had the ICT department made a virus into that, just inject it into their mainframe”
” It copy all their data and information, we will have access to their data but will lost there’s” he replied.
” Okay sir” I replied.
” Don’t forget, you’re doing this tonight and be ready” he reminded.
” I understand sir” I said.
” Good luck” he said then I went out of his office.

I went out of the agency and went to my car and then drove straight to the waza police station.

Few minutes Later, I arrived at the station and went to meet the officers at the counter.
” Good morning officers” I greeted the officers.
” Morning, how can we help you?” One of them asked.
” You arrested a lady earlier, Her name Mercy Rolland” I informed.
” Oh yeah, the noise maker…..where did you know her, she’s been screaming since she got here” the officer said.
” I’m sorry about that, just release her to me and I’ll handle the rest” I said.
” We can’t do that just yet, she hurt five men and also a police officer” he said.
” He hurt a police officer?” I asked in surprise and they nodded affirmative then I showed them my ID.
” I’m special agent Michael Rolland and I’m sure you know who I work for”
” I’m sorry for the trouble she caused, release her for me and let me take her away” I said.
” Okay sir” he replied then signaled to another officer to bring her out.
She was brought out and when she saw me she frowned.
” What took you so long?” She asked.
” Are you kidding me?, I was at work” I replied as they uncuffed her.
” Hey hey, what are you doing?, Why is she not locked up” An officer with a plastered nose shouted as he entered.
” Sergeant Bello, This is Agent Rolland, he requested for her release” the officer explained.
” It doesn’t matter, just because she knew someone like you doesn’t guarantee she can do whatever she likes” the sergeant said.
” I’m sorry for what she did to you” I said to him.
” Are you crazy?, Why are you apologizing?”
” He deserved it, he called me a whore, he should be lucky the only thing that got broken is his nose” Mercy said.
” Please Mercy Just stop, Let’s go now” I said then the sergeant hold my arm.
” I won’t accept this, I won’t let her get away with this” he said.
” If you don’t take your hands off me, I’ll break more things than you nose” I threatened and release my arm.
” Don’t do anything crazy, let’s go sister” I said then we both went out.

We entered the car and drove off without altering a word to her.
” You look angry, I should be the one angry….why you?” She said.
” Seriously?, Are you kidding me?”
” You haven’t use up to twelve hours in this city and you’re arrested already” i said.
” I told you it wasn’t my fault, those men tried to take advantage of a young innocent girl who was trying to find her way around the city” she said.
” I know since you got here……you will become a pain in the a$s” I said.
” You’re crazy” she said then we got home and I packed the car and we entered the house.
” Why does it have to be you who would come to visit?” I said.
” Because others don’t care, I miss you the most so I came” she said as she sat on the couch.
” I wish it was Goodness who came, she’s fun to be with, you’re so annoying” I said and she threw a pillow at me.
” How’s she anyway?” I asked.
” She’s fine, living her boring life as usual” she answered.
” Just because she’s the only one who doesn’t want anything violence, doesn’t make her boring”
” Which is one of the reasons I love her more than you, she is so cool” I replied.
” Whatever?”
” So, how’s Mom and the little Jeff?” I asked.
” Mom is fine, you know she and dad always wanting to get back into action at every possible way”
” Jeff on the other hand is suspended from school” she said and I’m not surprised in any way.
Jeff is the youngest in our family and he’s just like dad and Mercy, stubborn and wicked like them.
” Suspended huh?…..what did he do?” I asked.
” He stabbed his senior in the buttocks with pen just because the boy hit him on the head” she said.
” It could be worse but dad was sponsoring the school financially, so things didn’t escalate” she explained.
” Why is our family like this?….we are not normal” I said to her.
” Nonsense, we are strong and fearless and we love each other, that’s what matters” she said.

” So now that I’m release, you can go back to your work” she said as she grabbed the TV remote.
” Not necessary, I have a mission in the evening…..I should get prepared” I replied standing up.
” Mission?…. what’s is about?” She asked.
” Just to go into a company to retrieve some things, unnoticed” he said.
” Oh, they asked you to steal for them” she said.
” Shut up, I’m not stealing…….these people are bad, so I’m doing this” I replied.
” Cool, let me tag along” she offered.
” Never, not going to happen…..I won’t let you jeopardize my mission” I said.
” Cmon, I won’t… I’m bored, this place is like cemetery….too boring, you might need my help” she said.
” I can do this by myself” I said.
” Really?, You’re to steal something from a company, don’t you think you will need a distraction?” She said and I knew she have a point.
” Fine, but ruin this for me” I warned.
” Don’t worry, I got this…….what do I need to do?” She asked.
” Get yourself a beautiful dress, we leave by 6pm” I replied then went to my room.
‘ I hope I’m not making a mistake by bringing her’
