“You musnt fail the king okay,he is the only key to you getting a good life,so dont fail him”
Remembering my mom and the king word only got me feeling uneased and guilty
What would i do now,i would be around him and see his face,talk to him and if it possible i might touch or hold him sometimes
And i know that my betraying heart would always want more of him
Even when i tried always told him off,i always felt sad and each time,i wanted to give up and take him in my arms and kss the he..ll out of him but i cant,i just cant
And the vow i made to my mom and the king only stretched that possibility
I thought as i stood amongst the sheet drying them
Its been a week since that fateful talk with the king and am sure that alex doesnt know a thing,if he did he would have been talking about it
And its best that he isnt informed that i would be attending his school yet
If he knew,he would be trying to tell me things to make me fit in and i know that i just,cant ever fit in
Those rich kids would look down and me and am sure that when he realises it,he would also see that falling for a maid is not a right thing
He was at school and wouldnt be back before it was three
So i better help mom finish this before he comes back and demand for my attention

I stood by the window starring at her,amongst those white sheets she looks very beautiful
If only melanie knew how my heart beats for only her
She has been my personal maid for a week now
Though she tries her best to stay far from me ,i still feel her close body to mine,i still breathe in her smell,i even know the name of cologne she is using,i know that she is only staying far because she is scared
But i can protect her and i can protect the love we have for each other,why cant she just trust me and give me a chance ,i thought starring at her stretch
Just the perfect body and shape,in every little thing she do,she is just always perfect
That was why i fell for her right,she is my other half and i cant let her go,not now,i thought going out of my room to go meet her
“You dont have to come with me,i will just be with my personal maid over at the cleaning garden”i said to my guards and escourts who stopped on my warning
I got to the sheets,pushing it apart to get to her
She was there but now asleep on one of the chairs
I stood over her starring at her while she slept
Even when sleeping she had this guarded look on her face,always had it ,i thought walking to where she was
“Alex……”she called softly
Even in sleep she calls my name and then denies that she feels something for me
I saw a tear slid down her face and i cleaned it
“Why would you call my name and shed a tear”i whispered almost to myself but it seemed like she heard because she opened her eyes
She starred at my hand which was stretched on her face and immediately she stood up,bowing to me
“Have told you already melanie,am still too young for that,stop bowing for me”i said
“But that is the protocol……”
“To heck with protocol melanie,when would you ever follow your heart for once in your life”i said
“I always do follow my heart your highness”she said
“thats a lie melanie ,if you did follow your heart,you wont be rejecting me”i said
“Am rejecting you because i certainly dont feel the same way and please your Highness lets not talk about this,just tell me what you want for lunch and i tell them to prepare it”she said
“I dont want anything,just come and sit beside me”i said telling her to move towards me
Reluctantly she did,she sat beside me on the chair and as soon as she did i layed my head on her lap
“Your Highness???”
“Shhhhh,i just want to rest for a while”i said and closed my eyes
If this is the only way to win you over,i will do anything melanie,anything,i thought as i opened my eyes to stare at her

I sat still as a rock,he had his head on my lap and i felt all so suffocated and excited at the same time
I stared at his sleeping face and he looked so just very handsome
Very close to me,i lifted my hand wanting to touch his face but i stopped myself
I mustnt,he is off limits for me i thought as i sat uneased
Why didnt he just sleep in his room,why is he trying to tempt this way,i thought starring at his beautiful pink lips
I could feel my blush coming and i didnt want that
“You should stop starring”he said suddenly
“My God,so you wernt asleep”i said
“With you starring at me that way,i doubt that”he said opening his eyes to stare at me
“Now that you arent asleep,you can at least stand up”

I felt my heart beating fast and i knew that someday i would burst with all this feeling of mine

“Science “i said
“Well i study law and government because of my royal role but i would have love to study science”he said
“Hope your not just saying that bescause of me”i said
“Of course not,though am crazy about you,i wont be as crazy to say such thing”he said
He didnt know how many times my heart gave a shout of happiness because he said he is crazy about me
At least we wont be in the same,i thought feeling a bit relaxed
“How old are you?'”he said
“Eighteen”
“Same age as i”he said smiling up at me
“What month ?”he said again
“March 4″i said
“I cant believe this,you were born before me,you at least senior me with days”he said
“So your born in march”
“March 29th to be precise “he said
“Am way older than you”i said smiling

“Blue”i said
“Same here,tell me more about yourself”he said and i found myself telling him only to find out that we share a lot of things in common
He stood up and starred at me”see we are destined for each other,you and i share a lot of things in common”he said
Using that opportunity i stood up “we arent destined,its just pure coincidence ,i go get your evening things ready”i said and quickly walk off
THE NEXT DAY???
i got dressed in my new uniform,starring at myself
I will be starting shine college today,i just hope that my stay here would go well
I went to take the bus and headed for school
Alex had already gone,i got to school and was impressed by everything
Shine high have always been the best and its look would always come out as the best too
I was searching for my class when i heard a voice
“Well,well,well,if its not the personal maid herself”
