I wanted to feel this moment in his arms,even if its just for a little while
I don’t care about the king,i want to relive this moment in his arms
To at least have a souvenir of a love that couldnt be fulfilled
“I love you melanie and i know you do too,why make it hard when we both feel the same for each other”he said still holding me
“I cant alex,your like a high tower which a lower tower like me cant reach”
I pulled out of his arms and stared out of the window
“Your right when you say that i love you but we cant alex,i made a promise to someone”i said
“To who?”
“Your dad,he told me that part of my job was not to fall for you and then he made me promise him that i wouldn’t fall for you”i said

“So very much inlove with you”i said finally letting it out
He walked towards me and pulled me into a very tight hug
“You have no idea what those words mean to me”he said holding me close
“I do love you alex but we cant”i said
“Is it because of my dad,dont worry about him,i will talk to him”he said
“No alex please dont talk to him,if you do then i will be gone from your life for good because he will kick my mother and i out and this is the first real job mom has,if i were to be the cause of her leaving,i wont be able to forgive myself”i said
“If thats the case,i wont talk to my dad”
“Alex we cant be together “i said lightly and he pulled me to him
“Dont say that again,now more than ever,i know you love me and i wont let you go”he said

“No lily,no more buts and am not taking a no from you this time ,we love each other and we will make our relationship grow,we will take as it comes”he said

Just then there was a knock on the door
I quickly moved out of his arms
“Whoever is there should just leave”he said
“So your mother too should leave”the queen send walking in
I bowed on seeing the Queen
“Hello mom”he said walking towards her to give her a kss
“Seems like your busy with your personal maid”she said
“Yes am kind of giving her a new rule”he said
“Well thats okay,just came to tell you that sarah and her parents would be here tonight,we have to pick a date”she said

“For the wedding”she said
So the wedding was still on and here i was thinking that something can happen between alex and i

I saw my mom amongst the queen escourts
She had a look on her face and i wondred what she was thinking about
As soon as the door closed ,i began to walk off too but he stopped me by holding me back
“This is why they can never be a thing between us,your committed to Sarah already “i said
“Am committed to no one and i will prove that to you,tonight i will break the engagement,if doing that would make you see that we belong to each other,then so be it”he said starring at me
