i stood just starring at rex,how did he even notice me
And why would he be offering me a ride when he hardly knows me
“Common get on it,i wont bite”he said again
I really needed a ride or i would be late,i thought
“Am only getting on the bike because i have no choice”i said to him
“Dont worry,i know that already”he said
Having no choice,i got on the bike and soon we drove off
I just hope that alex doesnt notice me arriving with rex

I smiled when i felt her holding back
Doesnt she knows that she might fall if she doesnt hold unto me
“Hold me melanie”i said to her
“What did you say?”
“Hold unto me or you might fall”i said
At first she hesitated but then she held unto me
And i wouldnt deny that i liked it very much
Have never felt this way with anyone before but with Melanie its different
I had gone to the royal quaters with the intention of punching alex face in
How dare he break the engagement off breaking my sister heart in the process
I was sure that if i saw him i will punch his eyes out but on seeing Melanie i stopped
I couldnt stop myself from admiring her when i saw her coming alone
She looks beautiful in the uniform than the rest
I wanted to go and meet her but stopped when i saw alex talking,though i couldnt heart their conversation because i was far away
And then i saw him go off in the car leaving melanie
If he had something going with her,he would have told her to go along with him but he left her there
Which only mean she is free and useful,i might as well use her
To get back at alex,what am about to do will get her mad and will also get alex mad but i dont care
Its time someone teaches that no good prince a lesson

We got to school and when he pulled up i was surprised to see a lot of students starring at us
Why are they at the entrance and why are they starring at us,i thought starring at them too
“Is she the one rex”sarah said amongst the crowd
I turned to find rex nodding at them
What are they talking about?i thought starring at them
Rex walked towards me and pulled me close
“What are you doing”i said
“Proving to them that your truly my girlfriend”he said
“Am your what???”
“”My girlfriend,so act along with me”he said
“Why would i…..”i couldnt finish my sentence because he kssed me
I tried to push him off but somehow his hold on me was very strong
“Wow they are really dating “?
“I didnt want to believe it when i saw the post online”?
“But why would he pick a maid rather us”?
“I wonder how alex will take it when he finds out that his maid is dating his worst enemy”?
On hearing their comment,i knew it was all planned
Getting furious at him and at myself for falling into his plan i pushed him away from me
He smiled touching his lips,”she is only surprised because i didnt tell her”he said to the crowd
I moved away from him and ran through the crowd
I heard andrew calling me but i didnt answer
I was about to get into the hall when i saw him by the balcony
If he had been there for long then it only means that he saw us
He saw rex kssing me
“Alex i ……”
“Is this the reason why you didnt want to come with me”he said not starring at me
“That is not the reason alex,rex offered me a ride and then we got to school and then he kissed me,saying all sort of rubbish that am his girlfriend,i never knew about this”i said
“Am going to kill that bastard……”
“No please no alex,dont”i said holding him back
“What?are you still going to defend him after what he did”
“Am not defending him,i just dont want you to get into a fight”i said still holding him
“What about the rubbish he sputtered about you being his girlfriend”
“We both know that am not his girlfriend,your the only one i love,i thought i had made that clear to you last night “i said holding his face
“But i cant just let him get away with it”
“Your a prince alex,imagine the scandal it will cause if you fight with him,just let it go okay,please”i said
“Fine i will let it slide this time but under no circumstance should i see you with rex and as from tomorrow ,you are going in the car with me”he said
“Okay but please dont say anything to rex,he is only doing this because of his sister ”
“Listen to me Melanie ,no one has the right to touch you or reprimand you,your the one i chose,they can rot in he..ll for all i care”he said
“Lets go to class”he said holding my hand but i removed it
“We musnt go out like that,they will be starring at us”
“Melanie….”
“Please alex,its not the time to let it out,you just broke things off with sarah”i said
“Melanie your demanding too much from me”
“Its the only way we can do it please alex do it for me”i said
He nodded gently and walked off while i followed suit
I got to class only to see some him standing by the board
I walked in and saw that the whole board had been decorated with my name and rex name
“Newest couple”
“A poor maid with handsome rex”
“Kind of a joke couple”
“Look good together”
“Rex and melanie #couple forever”
I looked at alex and saw that he looked so angry
I quickly went to him whispering lightly into his ears
“Dont give in please,dont pay attention to it”i said and luckily it worked because he went back to his seat and brought out his head set listening to it

“Girlfriend?like seriously is that all you can come up with”sarah yelled at me
“Easy okay,i came up with something ,what have you come up with,nothing ,so dont yell at me”i said
“If i knew you were also going to do this,i wouldnt have agreed,i would have gone with my plan “she said
“And would that be to get her tortured,or for her to be thrown acid on or for her to just disappear from the face of the earth”
“One of those but at least that would stop her from taking my man from me”she said
“That would only earn you more hatred from alex,have got all this figured out,i just made a scene by saying Melanie is my girlfriend and am sure that alex will be very angry about it”
“Have you seen him here punching your face right in”
“Relax sis,this is just the begining,those two will break off any relationship they have together,while you get to keep alex,i get to keep melanie”
“Dont tell me Youve also fallen for her too”
“You know i dont fall,they fall for me not the other way around”i said
“I hope so,i really hope so”sarah added not trusting my word?
I also dont trust my word,i find myself liking Melanie and i wont deny that the kss i gave her have been the best kss ever
Have kssed a lot of girls but it hadnt moved me as melanie has and am surely not letting her go now
Just like alex am finding myself falling for Melanie too
