“Well well well,if its not the personal maid herself”
I turned to find sarah also in one of the uniform and accompanied by three girls
I bowed gently.
“Like seriously,we are in school and talking about school what the hell are you doing here”she yelled at me getting the attention of the other students
“Your a poor lousy maid,how come you are attending a pricey school as shine high except father inlaw……..no he wouldnt do that,he wouldnt put you here”she said
“What did you do to make him enroll you here”she said pushing me back
“I did nothing and since am the prince…….”
“Shut up,dont say that,your nothing to alex,i know your type,they are the one wanting to steal someone boyfriend but let me tell you this,it wont work okay,alex is mine and i wont let a lousy maid like you get in the way”she said
I starred around to see a lot of people starring at me
This is not how i imagined my first day,i thought sadly
Suddenly the two girls standing beside sarah walked towards me and removed my name tag which was placed on my shirt
“I will be holding onto this,lets see how you get into class without it”she said
Feeling angry all of a sudden,i walked towards her and removed her nametag also
The girls were walking towards me to take back the name tag when suddenly andrew walked into our midst
“You give her back her name tag or she take yours”he said
“And who the hell are you to stop me”sarah said
“Am melanie friend and i will not let you hurt her”andrew said
“Really?you think you can stop me,do you know the sort of power i have”she said
“Am not scared of you sarah”Andrew said back hotly and when i saw the murdering look she gave andrew i quickly butt in
“Just give me back my name tag and i will give you yours”i said
“You ………”she couldnt finish her word because someone walked in
And there was no mistaking it to be alex
He had a surprised look on his face when he saw me
“Whats going on?”he said
“Its your maid,she took my name tag and wont return it”she said
“You took my name tag first,give it to me before i give it to you”i said not wanting to stare at him
“Thats a h©rrid lie”sarah yelled
“We all know its not and i suggest his highness gets his fiancee to give melanie her name tag back or hers wont be returned “andrew said before pulling me off
I breathe in a sigh of relief when we got to a hall which no one was
” my God mel,how come you are here?”andrew said starring at me
“I work for the royal family and thanks to his Highness doing am now here in his school”i said
“You mean alex”
“Yes,i was made his personal maid and just to be close to him to serve him,the king had enrolled me here “i said
“You should have told me that you were going to work for the royal family,i could have find something else for you”he said
“You know mom,she wont want your help”i said
“Are you okay in that house,is alex coming unto you?”
“No he isnt”i lied,i cant let anyone know whats going on between alex and i not even to my bestfriend
“Just stay away okay,dont let him get close to your heart,he isnt right for you”he said
“I wont,thanks for defending me”i said
“Sarah is a big time bully,if you let her bully you then she will keep on bullying you for long”he said
“I wont let her and besides i have you here to protect me right “i said
“Of course you do,why dont i show you around,class will begin in some few hours and with those hours free for me,i would rather use it to show you around”he said putting an arm on my shoulder before walking off

“Aaargh i dont like this one bit”i yelled walking into the private room designated for me at school
Just remembering what alex said to me made me mad
“You leave melanie alone”he had said
“And why should i do that,she is just a maid to you”i said
“Sarah just stop it okay,if you dare do a thing to Melanie then you would have me to deal with”he said
“Do you like her?was that why you made her your personal maid”i said
“That doesnt concerns you,all i want you to do now is to leave melanie alone”he said and then walked away
Just thinking about how he reacted got me feeling so angry that i threw her name tag away and at that instance rex walked in
“Whats going on ?”he said picking up the name tag
“I can guess,its alex right?”
“This isnt alex”
“And so its melanie”he questioned showing me the name tag
“Yes its her,she is trying to take alex from me”i yelled
“Lets get it straight here little sis,alex have never liked you,isnt it time you move on ,find someone better for you”rex said
“Have told you already stop calling me little,you might be older than me with just a year but that doesnt mean am little and you should stop telling me to stay away from alex,just because you dont get along with him doesnt mean that i should leave him,he is my bethroed okay”i said
“Fine then little sis but tell me who is this melanie”
“She is a stupid maid working for him and father inlaw had got her enrolled in this school,she had even taken my name tag”i said
“Like seriously someone dare stand up to you by taking your tag,i must see this melanie”
“She is nothing but horrid and ugly and your my brother right,your suppose to back me up”i said
“Thats what am doing little sis dont worry let big brother handle this troublesome girl for you”he said and i smiled
I knew that when rex handle someone ,he does it efficiently and am sure that he would certainly deal with melanie
