“And the second position goes to…..everywhere became silent…Clara from Sunset High School”
The smile on Clara’s face turned upside down
“Come on Clara and get your trophy”
She walked to the stage reluctantly and collected the trophy while the spectators cheered
“First position goes to the winner of this year’s competition and the new Ms. America…Lisa Williams from Star Models High School and our new Queen of Models”
Lisa shed tears of joy as her name was called
She walked up to the woman and collected the trophy while the hall shook with applause. Her dad who was watching it on TV couldn’t hide his joy.
They put the ribbon on her and she went to stand beside Dylan who won as the King of models.
“Now to call the overall winner. This person I’m going to call amazed the judges today and made them stand on their feet. This lady gave us something new. Her beauty,charisma and expertise was heavenly. Ladies and gentlemen,put your hands together as I call Lisa Williams to the stage cause she is the overall winner”
Everyone gave her a standing ovation as she stepped forward
She was given a bouquet and a cheque of 500,000 US dollars with a scholarship into whichever Modeling University she wishes to go.
The mic was handed over to her to say some words.
Lisa collected the mic with tearful eyes
“Good evening everyone…The hall cheered…I’m so happy that I don’t know what to say. I have to admit that I was so nervous but I had to keep on pushing for the sake of my school and what i love…They clapped…i want to say a big thanks to Mrs. Phillips our principal for her support and encouragement”
Principal Phillips walked up to the stage with a proud look on her face. This is a big moment for her cause for the past four years,their school has always been on the bottom line in the competition but this year thanks to Lisa,her pride has been restored.
Lisa continued
“I also want to say thanks to my big sister Annabel for her love and care and for telling me not to give up on my dreams…Annabel walked to the stage and hugged her…Also thanks to my father,I know he’s watching me now. Thank you daddy…they cheered…Thanks to my fellow contestant and my bestie Marla for coming in second place on behalf of our school. And my final thanks goes to you all…she pointed to the audience and they shook with applause…Thank you all for your cheers and votes. I love you all” She blew them a kiss and stepped down from the stage
The hall shook with applause as everyone took turns to hug her
“Principal Phillips,do you have anything to say?” The M.C gave her the mic
“I’m speechless right now. All I can say is thank you to everyone that made this a reality” She said
“The New York City Annual Model Competition has come to a peaceful end. We hope to see you all next year”
When everything was finally over,the principal thanked Lisa for her performance and her school mates came to hug her. Sarah was too ashamed to even talk to her.
Gideon walked up and hugged her
“Congratulations Starlight”
“Thanks Gideon”
“Congratulations Lisa,Sorry I was too busy and couldn’t come early”Alexa said and hugged her
“No problem”She saw Annabel and ran to hug her
“Congratulations Lisa”Annabel said after pulling from the hug
Lisa smiled
Clara walked up to her
“Hey Clara”
“Don’t hey me. Do you think I came to congratulate you? Hell No. Mark my words Lisa,I’ll win next year”
“Next year? Aren’t you supposed to have graduated from the school?”
“Shut up. I hate you Lisa. I hate you”Clara said and walked away
Lisa shook her head and turned to see Dylan in front of her
She gasped
“Congratulations Queen of the Models” He said smiling
“Congratulations to you too King of the Models”
They laughed and he hugged her
Gideon felt anger building inside him at the sight of them hugging but he controlled it
They were called to take pictures later and they returned to their different places the next day.

TWO DAYS LATER…
??GRADUATION DAY??
It was Emerald University graduation day and the school was buzzing with excitement. The decor was WOW and the graduates moved to and fro.
Annabel and Alexa were excited. They were finally graduates
“Annie I’m so happy I could cry” Alexa said holding back her tears
“Don’t cry or you’ll ruin your makeup”
“Yeah. I need to look beautiful for Richard”
“Speaking of Richard,I haven’t seen him in a while”
“He traveled to China for a project”
“Alexa how did you know?”
“I found out that’s all”
“Cause you were stalking him”
“No”Alexa denied and Annabel shook her head
They walked to the place where the party was taking place.
Adams,Gideon and Lisa were present
Charlotte was there because she wanted to see Annabel’s face when she finds out that she failed. She was accompanied by Bella.
After the necessary things were done and the students danced.
The graduates were handed their certificate including Annabel and Charlotte frowned
It was time for the top five best students that would be going to work in Adams company
The M.C took over the microphone
“Now it’s time to call the top five best students that are gonna be employed in Adams building company…They all clapped…This time I would like to call the CEO of the company to give the graduates their certificate attached to their appointment letter. Mr. Henry Adams please step forward”
Adams stood up and walked over while the female students were drooling
He collected the Mic and began
“Good day graduates. I am elated to be here for this wondrous occasion. Here with me I have five certificates with appointment letters attached for the top five best students of Emerald University who did well both here in the university and outside and I’ll start from number five”
Everywhere became quiet and Alexa held on tight to Annabel’s hand.
“Please when I call you,step forward and get your certificate. No.5 Ezra Hailey…she walked forward and collected her certificate then he shakes her…No 4 Daniel Elvis…No 3,Stephanie Michael…No 2…Alexa Benson”
Alexa screamed with joy and collected her certificate
Adams looked at the last person and smiled
“And No.1,Annabel Williams”
Everyone knew she was gonna be the winner. They applauded and cheered for her
Annabel walked over to him and collected her certificate. She looked at him and he shakes her hand
Charlotte could not believe her eyes while Bella sat down with a look that says “I told you so”
Charlotte was fuming in anger. She dragged Bella and they left
After giving them their prizes,Adams told them to come to his company the next week for their orientation and also for them to answer some questions before leaving the school premises cause he has a board meeting.
Alexa was so happy she felt like exploding
Annabel just stood there staring at her appointment letter
It was all like a dream
She was going to be working with that bossy man soon.

CHARLOTTE’S HOUSE
Charlotte stormed into the house angrily and threw her handbag on the couch while Bella followed her and sat down
“How dare that ass hole use me?” She snapped
“I told you he was no good” Bella said
“How can I be so foolish? Why will he do such a thing to me? Isn’t he aware of who I am?”
“Calm down”
“Don’t tell me to calm down. This is bullsht and I hate it”
“We’ll find a way out”
Charlotte chuckled slowly
“I won’t stay here and let that man go scot free. I am Charlotte Vegas and I don’t tolerate unfaithful people”
“So what are you gonna do now?” Bella asked
She smirked
“I’m gonna take his life”
Bella gasped
“Yes. Mr.Kelvin get ready to say HI TO H£LL SOON”
