“Father I thank you for what you have revealed to me in your infinite mercy, and I ask that you help me get out of this bondage of the mistakes of my parents due to ignorance, in the name of Jesus.”
“You’ll be helped. However, there’s still alot you need to know.” He heard a voice from within say to him as he prayed in the midnight hour.
“Before you can be victorious in this battle of glory recovery, you have to put on the whole armour of Christ.” The voice went on as Kingsley observed a quiet moment before his creator.
“You mean the one in Eph. 6:11-17?”
“Yes.”
“How is it worn? I mean, I usually hear put on the whole armour of God, but I sincerely don’t know how that can be done.”
“That’s why I’m here; I’ll tell you.
You need your loins of truth because your enemy would always come up with decietful lies which you’d end up believing, if you’re not careful and watchful.
By keeping the truth which lies in the word of God according to John 17:17b, you’re wearing the loins.”
“Hmmm….”
” The second is the breastplate of righteousness.
As the breastplate is solely to protect the vital organs of the body in the physical, so it is in the spiritual.
The sole aim of the breastplate of righteousness is to protect the heart which is desperately wicked, with righteousness.
This can be done by feeding the heart daily with the word of God.
The third armour is your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
This tells you to be prepared to share the gospel, which brings peace upon hearing.
By evangelising in different ways and by all means possible, you’re putting on this armour.
The shield of faith is needed to be worn always to quench the fiery darts of the wicked. Your faith keeps you from fear the enemy tries to instill in your spirit.
As the helmet protects against arrows fired at the head in the physical, so it is in the spiritual.
Wearing your helmet spiritually, helps you to easily discard nasty thoughts and also voices of deciet by the enemy.
The sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, is self explanatory already.
By applying God’s word (which is already settled in heaven) to every negative circumstances in your life backed up with your faith, you make use of your sword.”
“Wow! I never knew it this way honestly. It has never been explained to me like this before! Okay, what about Prayer; that talked about it in verse 18. Is it part of your weapons?”
“Of course yes. It is both offensive and defensive, depending on how you used it. The work of God has admonished us both to pray in the spirit and watch with perseverance.”
“I can’t do anything if I do not see the face of the attacker.” Mazi Mbakwe roamed around in his shrine in the midnight hour as he thought on what to do.
“I do not even know where the attack is coming from, or where it is going! This is rendering me helpless!” He thought aloud out of frustration.
“I must not be brought down in this life, after experiencing lots of enjoyment and fame. No, it’s not possible.
Infact, let me call me doctor to help. Incase Papa fails, he’d be my backup.”

TWO WEEKS LATER
“Today I feel so tired that I don’t think I can pray.” Kingsley thought as he yawned, remembering how the day went.
As usual, he had gone to apply for jobs but this time, the negative responses he received didn’t move him, as he already knew the secrets behind his problems.
He just needed to keep listening to the Holy Spirit to teach him more about his life and how to prayerfully fight and emerge victorious.
“Don’t sleep yet, there’s still more to learn and besides, you haven’t prayed.” An inward voice said to him.
“Buh I’m too tired to…..” He tried arguing but slept off.
Mazi Mbakwe who hadn’t been at rest about the source of the constant attacks on his son, decided to find out again.
“Good. Luck fell on me today; the angels are not there, but the fire is still burning. I can see the face of the……wait, isn’t that….is that …… Nwankwo’s son?”
