ZHANG’S MANSION
Immediately she heard the voice, her eyes widened. She needed no one to tell her who it was.
Theo!
She cleared her throat before standing up, then she turned to meet his gaze.
“You??” He said, immediately recognizing her and Valerie almost rolled her eyes.
“I heard him cry in his sleep while passing by, so I decided to check on him.” She simply said.
“Oh.” That was all he said.
He looked at Leo then back at Valerie and Valerie who was looking at him, quickly averted her gaze from him.
“Excuse me.” She said and began walking out of the room, but immediately she got to the door.
“Wait.” She heard him say and she stopped walking immediately, but she didn’t turn to face him.
Jeffrey opened his mouth to utter a word but he couldn’t say anything… He just shook his head and said.
“Sorry, you can leave.” He said and Valerie scoffed before walking away.
“It’s strange how she looks so familiar, but ion know her.” He said and sighed, then he turned to Alex and smiled widely.
He sat beside him and caressed his head. “Good night Alex.” He mumbled and placed a kss on his head.

“When did you leave? I was looking for you.” Evie said to Valerie who was just climbing down the staircase.
“You were busy with someone, so I had to walk around to keep myself busy.” Valerie said and Evie chuckled.
Valerie got down the stairs and just then Jeffrey showed up, also climbing down the stairs.
Evie furrowed her brows.
“You’re here as well??” She asked but Jeffrey didn’t reply till he got down and walked past her, living the mansion.
Valerie stared at Evie, noticing something off. Were they quarrelling?? She thought, curiosity suddenly growing in her.
Evie faked a chuckle and wrapped her hand around Valerie’s arm.
“C’mon, let’s go.” She said and the two began walking out.
“That reminds me, you didn’t reply my question.” She said and Valerie creased her brows, faking ignorance.
“I asked you to be my best friend.” Evie said and Valerie mouthed an ‘O’.
“Oh? Is that all you have to say?” She asked.
“Uhmm… I meant sure.” Valerie said and Evie smiled.
They got to the poolside, where the others were and had their seat, it was a round table.
“You two are finally here.” Alyssa, one of the girls said.
“As you can see.” Evie said.
“So what should we do?” Reyna asked.
“Let’s play a game.” Olivia suggested.
“T or D.” Michelle grinned.

“Sounds like fun.” Evie said, shaking her head.
“Valerie you’re in?” Olivia asked and Valerie shook her head.
“No, I don’t really like the game.” She said.
“C’mon Lerie, it’s gonna be fun trust me.” Evie said.
“Hey look, it’s Jeffrey, Daryl and Riche. How about we ask them to join the game? It’s gonna be lot of fun.” Reyna said and they nodded.
“Yes! Richie my crush.” Michelle gushed.
“Darell my sweetheart.” Reyna said.
“Evie, mind if we invite your hubby to play with us?” She asked and Evie smiled.
“Sure.” She shrugged and Michelle and Reyna rushed to the boys who were seated far from them, drinking.
“Hey Jeff!, Hi Richie, Hello Daryl.” They said immediately they got to them.
“What’s up girls?” Richie replied, licking his lips seductively.
