“Are you trying to pick a fight with me?” Mack asked seriously.
“Who started this? You should have apologized to her. Anyways nevermind, I’ve covered up for what you did to her” Eli said coldly.
“Ruby I think you should teach this little guy here how to behave. I’m only holding back because I really don’t want to create a scene here but you should give him some tips” Mack said with a malicious smile and Ruby ran away.
Seems like they know each other. Ruby looked frightened on seeing him. Eli uttered in his head glaring at Mack.
“Your girlfriend just ran off, aren’t you going to go after her” Mack mocked.
“Stay away from Ruby. I don’t want to see you anywhere close to her, I’m pretty sure you don’t want to build a bad image for yourself on your first year in HUFS” Eli threatened before going after Ruby.
“Ruby! Ruby” Eli called out running after her.
Ruby sobbed silently as she ran. Eli grabbed her hand stopping her from running.
“Ruby what’s going on? How come that jerk knows your name? Do you know him from somewhere?” Eli threw in and Ruby wiped her tears off.
“Eli you should have listened to me when I said you should let it go. I really have no idea on what you’re talking about” Ruby lied trying to avoid eye contact.
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to but don’t lie to me either just so you wouldn’t tell me. Anyways I’m sorry I almost caused a scene there. If he’s a bad guy, don’t hide it from me. He might come looking for you again just let me know when that happens. Should I call over a taxi for you? Or you still have some classes left?” Eli asked and Ruby raised her head looking at him.
“Eli are you upset with me?” Ruby asked slowly and Eli exhaled before answering her.
“It looked like the both of you had a terrible history together and he looks like he’s a foreigner as well, he’s probably from the States. You said you have no idea what I was talking about, Ruby if he’s a bully the you need to tell me so I can be able to protect you. I really hate bullying and lies, two things I can’t stand” Eli said seriously.
“Eli can you please give me some time to make up my mind on when to tell you about it” Ruby said.
“You don’t have to be so polite about it. It’s your life after all, and just so you know, I don’t interfere in other people’s lives” Eli said coldly and had a glance at his wristwatch.
“I will be leaving for class now. Catch up with you later” Eli added.
“You’re leaving already. Eli we haven’t concluded on our discussion earlier about the tutoring” Ruby reminded.
“How about we continue our discussion when I’m done with class because you’re definitely going to sign a contract. Hand over your phone” Eli said stretching out his hand for her phone.
“Why?” Ruby asked a bit confused.
“What else, give me your phone already” Eli said and she placed the phone on his palm and Eli saved his number on her phone.
Eli dialed his number and her number appeared on his phone.
“I have your number now so I would give you a call when I’m done. Does that sound fair to you?” Eli asked and Ruby nodded smiling inwardly.
“One last question Eli” Ruby cut in out of the blue.
“Make sure it isn’t a lame one” Eli shrugged.
“You called me your girlfriend earlier. May I ask why you did?”
“It’s simple, I didn’t want him to intimidate me for butting in so I said you’re my girlfriend and that gives me more right to be aggressive to him. Does that answer your question” Eli said sarcastically and Ruby nodded.
“Thank you Eli” Ruby smiled and Eli waved his hands at her as he left for class.
Will she be okay alone? Should I skip class? She looked like she was still scared. Eli uttered in his mind worriedly.
“What’s wrong with you Eli? You’ve never skipped class, I can’t believe I even thought of that” Eli smirked.

GG DIAMONDS BUILDING**
Jemma went to the washroom. She was in the toilet when she heard some of the employees gossiping.
“Everyone has been watching what they say today because it seems like the CEO is in the mood to fire anyone today”
“She was actually wearing makeup today. I’ve never seen her put on such pretty makeup and lipstick. Getting divorced was the right thing, she could do. I can’t believe Mr Chen agreed to divorce such an amazing lady. She holds such a strong pillar in the society and so many men would kill just to be in Mr Chen’s position. Some men really have no idea what’s good for them”
“He might have felt little because she’s quite an outstanding lady. His loss though” The employees laughed and Jemma smirked on hearing them.
I guess the society isn’t that bad after all. I was hoping to hear the opposite, I guess I’ve passed as a CEO. Jemma uttered in her mind with a smile on her lips.
** FLASHBACK ~~
“Jemma you look more amazing without makeup on. You’re naturally beautiful and that’s why I fell in love with you” Caleb complimented with a smile as he hugged Jemma tight.
“You think so?” Jemma asked with a smile.
“Of course”
“Then I should put this away” Jemma said packing back all her makeup things.

“I’ve got my confidence back. I almost lost track of time. I’ve always loved doing makeup but ever since Caleb said I looked pretty without any, I appreciated his compliment and stopped using it. How obedient of me” Jemma scoffed.
She came out of the washroom then want back to the office.
“Listen everyone” Jemma said loudly and and the employees stopped working facing their concentration on her.
“If we get a hit on our latest project, each team will go on a three days vacation and expenses of your trip will be on the company’s pocket” Jemma announced and a bright smile appeared on everyone’s face.
“So everyone work hard and look forward to it” Jemma motivated with a smile before going into her office.
“The boss is sure very generous. We should try our best to make this project a hit so our team will be allowed to go on a vacation first” Some of the employees said as they all got serious with their work.
Jemma smiled as she looked at everyone from the window.
“I should do some good once in a while” She smiled and her phone started ringing.
“Hello Mr Hong” Jemma said over the phone.
“Mrs Chen I was notified that you want to meet up with me” Weston said over the phone and Jemma nodded.
“Yes Mr Hong and just so you know, I’m no longer Mrs Chen. You can just call me Jemma” Jemma corrected.
“Oh okay, my bad. I don’t think our meeting will be able to take place today. Fridays are always my busiest days, I’m sorry” Weston said slowly.
“It’s really important, I don’t think I can shift it to some other day. Just send me your location, I will go to you” Jemma said impatiently and Weston smiled.
“Are you sure, you can be able to come meet me?” Weston asked curiously.
“Of course, I should be able to do that. Since it’s important” Jemma said.
“Alright, I’ll send you the address” Weston said and he hung up before Jemma would say anything.
He sent her the address and Jemma’s eyes went wide open on seeing the location.
“Oh my goodness, why did he go all the way to Gangwan-do. That’s a two hours drive from here” Jemma complained tiredly and her secretary came knocked at the door.
“Come in”
“Boss, are you still meeting up with Mr Hong?” Dan asked as he came inside.
“Yes but I will be going alone since it’s a two hours drive to Gangwan-do. You stay back at the office and look after things, I will head out now” Jemma said and picked up her purse.
“Gangwan-do? Boss are you sure, we shouldn’t reschedule your meeting with him?” Dan asked worriedly.
“Not at all, I have to meet with him today” Jemma said and sauntered out of the office.
Jemma bought some snacks on the way because she loves driving and eating junkies. Two hours later she drove down to Gangwan-do.
With the help of the location tracker, Jemma got to the building Weston was. Weston was outside waiting for her patiently.
He was putting on some summer shorts and hoodie coupled with a sunshade.
Jemma gto down from her car.
“Mr Hong what can you possibly be doing in Gangwan-do at this time of the day? And I had no idea, you put on clothes like this as well” Jemma uttered trying to keep her cool.
“Come in” Weston said with a smile and Jemma rolled her eyes before going into the building with him.
“I always knew you hated driving for too long but you end up having a great time after doing that” Weston smiled and Jemma looked at him in surprise.
“How did you know that?” Jemma asked curiously as they got into the sitting room.
“I’ve always known. What would you like to have? Should I get you coffee or tea?” Weston asked politely and Jemma’s eyes went around the building as she didn’t put much thought into what Weston said.
She looked at the interior and a smile appeared on her lips.
“This kind of building have always been my dream home. Mr Weston is this building for sale?” Jemma asked curiously.
“Of course not. But I will give it to you if you like it”
“You don’t have to give it to me for free. I can pay you an affordable price for it” Jemma said.
“You can never let go of your business antics but I’m sorry it’s not for sale. Here’s your juice” Weston said placing the juice on the table in front of Jemma.
And Jemma noticed the mole on his thumb.
I’ve seen that mole somewhere before. Jemma uttered in her head trying so hard to recall.
Weston had a mole on that same spot. Wait a minute, Weston. Jemma uttered in her head in shock staring so deeply at Weston.
“Weston have we met before?” Jemma asked breathlessly.
“Of course we did. Back in our twenties” Weston said with a smile and Jemma’s purse fell from her hand.
