CHAPTER 46
Next morning at Seoul high school.
Josie and Randy met at the lobby close to her class and Randy smiled at her.
FLASHBACK… On last night.
“Josie I’m sorry, I scared you with my actions. I was scared you wouldn’t like me for who I am” Randy said in a low tone.
“Regardless of how insecure you are, stalking the person you claim to have feelings for isn’t right and it’s not love but obsession. If you love someone you should do it the right way.
You’ve always been a good senior to me so I don’t want to lose a good friend but I’m sorry I don’t feel same way for you” Josie said bluntly.
“I don’t think it’s right for you to transfer to another school either but you staying back depends on how you behave.
My mum was only looking out for me and that’s why she made that decision. Trust me, my family won’t let this slide easily just so you know” Josie added.
Randy exhaled sharply and bite his lower lips a bit disappointed with himself.
“I can’t promise to change over night so I will push through with your mum’s suggestion.
I don’t think I have the face to keep seeing you. I will proceed with my transfer tomorrow”..

“How was …” Josie asked awkwardly but Randy cut in.
“The transfer went well. I will be moving to some other school tomorrow.
Good luck with your studies and exam, bye Josie” Randy said with a half smile then walked away.
“Josie, Josie” Linda called out as she ran to where Josie was.
“I just heard a shocking news”
“What news?” Josie asked as she turned to head to the classroom.
“Senior Randy is transferring to another school. Why? Why so suddenly? He’s the best in his class, how can he just leave like that.
I heard as well that he had a misunderstanding situation with a student in our school and that’s why he’s leaving.
How can she be so cruel? I’m pretty sure, she is just trying to get famous in school or get his attention.
I wish I knew who she was, I will rip her hair off” Linda uttered bluntly and Josie turned to her.
“How about you try, pulling out my hair now” Josie sad sarcastically and Linda’s eyes widened in shock.
“Josie what do you mean? Why should I pull out your hair? Were you even listening to me” Linda said waving Josie’s earlier words.
“I’m the reason your favorite senior is transferring to another school” Josie announced and Linda covered her mouth with her hand in shock.
“What!” Linda gasped and Josie went into the classroom.
“Josie, what the h’ll happened?”

Eli was done with his classes and he head to the library but he saw Ruby and Mack together. Mack was pursuing her.
“Hey you, you’re Ruby’s boyfriend right?” Mack asked still holding Ruby’s hand as he stopped him.
Eli kept mute.
“Why are you quiet? Did you two break up?” Mack ridiculed.
“What do you want from me?” Eli asked coldly.
Ruby stared at Eli, hoping he glances at her.
“Why are you being so cold? I haven’t even started yet so don’t be so feisty.
What do you think Ruby?” Mack asked flirtatiously as he tried to touch Ruby’s face.
Eli, let’s ignore all of this. I’m trying to move on so I shouldn’t get involved with this. Eli said in his head.
Eli walked away. He walked few steps away from them then turned around. Rushed back to Mack and grabbed Ruby’s hand.
“Stay away from Ruby, else I will report to the security office and you know exactly what will happen to you” Eli threatened.
Mack scoffed.
“How would you even prove to the authorities that I’m bothering Ruby? You’re just full of bluff”
“Take a look!” Eli said pointing at the security cameras around the surrounding.
“They don’t lie at least” Eli scoffed then walked away with Ruby.
They walked far away from Mack and his friends and he let go of Ruby’s hand.
“What the h’ll were you thinking when you allowed that jerk come close to you. I can’t believe you can’t even fight for yourself.
How do you plan on protecting yourself if you don’t know how to. I can’t be always around to help you out in times like this” Eli nagged.
“I never asked you to butt in” Ruby said looking away.
“I’m sorry, I got involved. It won’t happen again. I will take my leave now” Eli said about to walk away but Ruby grabbed his hand.
“Eli I think we still have lots of things to talk about” Ruby cut in.
“We don’t have anything to talk about” Eli said bluntly.
“How can you be so cold all of a sudden? Eli have you forgotten the fact that we feel something for each other.
I’m hoping you still haven’t forgotten about our deal” Ruby said cheerfully and Eli shoved her hands off.
“Cut the crap Ruby. I told you already, nothing’s going to work out between us and I don’t appreciate the idea of you trying to push it” Eli said coldly.
“Why are you acting this? Is it because of our parents? Why should I let of my feelings when I’m completely innocent, don’t I deserve to be happy as well?” Ruby asked holding back her tears.
Eli stared at her as her words hit him hard.
“You think too much. Don’t try to put this on our parents, I told you it wouldn’t work out between us before we even found out the truth.
Quicker you let of your feelings, the better for you” Eli said coldly.
“Never! I’m never letting go of what I feel because I believe you feel same way for me Eli.
You would you cost you a fortune to prove me otherwise so don’t expect me to act like everything’s okay just because you say so” Ruby said seriously as tears escaped her eyes and she wiped it off quickly.
“You won’t hold up for too long” Eli said and walked away.
Eli walked away and Ruby boost into tears.
A call came into her phone. She brought out her phone from her purse and it was Weston calling and Ruby threw her phone away in anger.
“Leave me alone!” Ruby screamed in tears.

Jemma sat at the sitting room going through some documents from the office when a call came in.
Jemma had a glance at it and her eyes widened in shock. She took the call swiftly with an anxious smile on her lips.
“Jemma, you finally did the right thing. At least my grandson will be using this opportunity to come live with me” Jemma’s dad said over the phone.
“What do you mean Dad?” Jemma asked seriously.
“Eli called, he’s moving to the States” He said and Jemma frowned gazing at an empty space.
