This trip is the best option I can make so fast. I’m glad grandpa understands how I feel. Eli said in his head.
“Well, grandpa can’t wait to see me. He’s excited about my coming so he suggested I come earlier than usual”
“Not fair, you’re only listening to grandpa now. You should give us some time to spend with you before leaving” Josie pouted and Eli ruffled her hair playfully.
“We’ve got two days to do all that, don’t you think so mum?” Eli asked with a smile.
“I’ve got lots of things I still want to do with the both of you.
Josie how about you skip classes tomorrow same goes for you Eli. I wish to treat you guys out” Jemma said with a smile.
“Deal!” Eli and Josie said in unison and Jemma smiled.
Everyone retired to their bedroom after dinner.

HANGGU SPECIAL HOSPITAL….
Weston sat on a chair close to the window as loneliness swept his soul.
Is Ruby alright? Have she eaten? Have she fallen asleep yet?
What’s she doing right now? Is she sleeping or reading? How was her day today? I hope she’s not starving herself.
What about Jemma? Is she okay? Should I give her a call? Weston threw in so many questions in his head and just then Jemma’s call came in.
He smiled on seeing her call.
“Jemma, you’re not asleep yet?” Weston asked calmly.
“No, not yet. What about you? You don’t sound like you’ve been sleeping” Jemma said over the phone.
“I never said I was sleeping. I thought of calling you but I was cautious just so you’re asleep, I wouldn’t disturb you”
“When you thought of it, you should have called. Although I was busy, I would have still picked up. Have you eaten? I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to the hospital tonight. I had to spend some special dinner time with the kids” Jemma explained.
“Is there an occasion you’re not inviting me” Weston said jovially.
“Not really, Eli is leaving the country in few days time so we wanted to share the special dinner time with him”
“He’s traveling? That’s so sudden, is everything okay? Nothing happened to him right?” Weston asked worriedly and Jemma chuckled.
“How can we share the same reaction? That was how I acted as well when I found out. I guess, it’s best he chases his dreams now that he can’t.
I don’t want him to leave but I also don’t want to hinder his dreams anymore, I did that a lot in the past. I don’t want to repeat it” Jemma said slowly.
“Jemma are you sure you will be fine? If you don’t want him to leave, you should share it with him.
Don’t keep it all to yourself, pretending to be a hero. Say it out now so he knows exactly how his mum feels, Eli is am adult I’m pretty sure he has lots of things he wants to share with you” Weston advised.
“You sound like you’ve had an experience” Jemma uttered.
“Well, I still regret it. If you had told me exactly how you felt about my trip then, I guess it would have changed a lot of things so let’s not repeat what happened in the past.
He might have made up his mind but I’m pretty sure he’s still worried about how you feel.
Jemma, I will be right beside you on whatever conclusions Eli make” Weston assured and tears escaped Jemma’s eyes.
“How can you be so sensible, it’s making me tear up” Jemma sniffed and Weston laughed.
“Thank you Jemma for being a lovely woman” Weston cut in softly and Jemma smiled widely.
Weston dropped Ruby a message after speaking with Jemma.
~”Sweetie, I still want to give you a chance to give your feelings for Eli a shot.
Don’t miss out the opportunity to do so tomorrow so you don’t regret it” ~

Jemma went into Eli’s room after knocking.
“You’re not asleep yet?” Jemma asked and sat on his bed.
“I couldn’t fall asleep mum”
“Eli, I understand how you feel and what you want exactly. I just wish I could be more selfish, I really don’t want you to go.
The thought of it really breaks your mum’s heart” Jemma said holding back her tears and Eli hugged her gently.
“I don’t wish to leave either but mum please can’t you just turn a blind eye to my decision this time around.
I promise I won’t do anything to make us regret this decision.
Mum please let me go” Eli said sadly and Jemma boost into tears hugging him tightly.
