Episode 4
Desmond’s POV
” Mom, I’m so sorry I shunned you earlier, I was just so angry ” Vickie apologized.
” it’s okay dear, I understand ” Mrs Silva said.
” I just…..i didn’t mean all that, I just thought if I say that maybe he will change is mind ” Vickie said.
” Why is so stubborn?……why can’t he just leave everything behind” Vickie said.
” That’s the kind of person he is, there’s nothing we do about it” Mrs Silva said.
” I’m sorry mom, I’m the reason he will never come here again” Vickie said.
” No….it’s not you……. That’s the kind of person he is” Mrs Silva said.
” he reminded me of your father, I see so much of him in Desmond……..if they set their mind to something, nothing can change it” Mrs Silva said.
” I’m scared for him mom” Vickie said.
” yeah I know, we all are”.

Desmond’s POV
(Two hours later)
I got to Hanford city and took a taxi to a Hotel for me to settle down before heading out.
I got to the hotel room and put down all my things, I pondered on what my sister said before I left.
Maybe she is right….. I enjoyed the killing and the bloodshed, someone has to stand up and make a change.
I sat on the bed and bring out agent ayoola’s details, then I trace him through his phone .
I got his location which is the same as the house address, I got up and went out of the room.
As I reach outside the hotel I board a taxi to the place and it took up to 30 minutes before we reach there.
I got down from the taxi and pay the driver and he drove off, I saw the house and realise that it’s a Flat building.
There are three other Flat building in the compound so I went to the gate and entered.
The only problem here is that I don’t know which one is his house, then an idea came to me.
I bring out my phone and dialled his number and it started ringing, it keep ringing and he didn’t pick up till the call disconnected.
I dialled his number again and it rang two times then he picked up.
“Hello, who is this?” He asked.
” Good evening, my name is Agent Bello from the FIIB facility” I said.
” I don’t know you…….what do you want?” He asked.
” I was sent from the facility to drop something for you” I said.
” Sent?……where are you?” He asked.
” At the gate of your house” I said.
” Really?…….What is it? ” He asked.
” I don’t know……. I’m not permitted to check it” I said.
” Alright Give me a minute” he said .
” okay sir” I replied then ended the call.
Immediately I ended the call I bring out one of my new found toys, it’s is used to jam signal then I switched it on which jammed all the signal in the house.
No one will be able to make call to anyone as long as I’m still in the house, even the CCTV camera won’t work.
I quickly hide behind the garden in the compound and look towards the three house for me to know his own.
I bring out gloves then put it one cause for me not to leave any trace behind.
Since it’s almost dark no one can actually see me unless they got closer, I inspect carefully then a door open from one of the buildings.
The person started walking towards the gate and I saw his face which confirm that his my target.
Immediately he left the door I tiptoed to his building and open the door carefully then entered.
I know he will be back very soon immediately he saw no one at the gate, so I went to the parlour to look for something heavy.
I search the kitchen then I found a pestle which can also do the trick, I stayed at the kitchen and wait for him to return.
After waiting for 5 minutes the door opened and he entered then locked the door from inside.
” Crazy people……are they trying to pull a prank on me” he muttered as he went to sit on the couch.
” I will make sure I find out who this agent Bello is…….then teach him a lesson not to mess with their seniors” he said.
I came out of the kitchen with the pestle in the hand and move closer to him, after getting close enough and smack him hard and he blackout.
With what I intended to do I’ll need a cover up if I don’t want to alert anyone in the compound.
So I clear the dinning table and laid the guy on it then look for a rope to tie him down before he woke up.
I went to the home theater and switch it on and play a music, I make sure the sound is loud enough to cover up what’s about to happen.
I’m famished so I went to the kitchen and look for something to eat while he sleeps, I opened the fridge and found bread and four can of sardines.
I bring out two sardines and one bread and a bottle of juice then went to the parlour and set it down on the stool.
I began to eat while I wait for the guy to wake up so we can get this started, I waited for an hour later before he woke up.
” What the?…… what’s this, what’s going on here?” He shouted and I ignored him.
” Heyy, who the hell are you?…… what’s the meaning of this?” He shouted and I increase the music volume.
” You don’t know who you’re messing with” he said trying free himself then I stood up and turn to him.
The look on his face is indescribable coupled with confusion and shock, I move closer to him with the bread in my hand.
” I’m not a Ghost if that’s what you’re thinking cause a ghost can’t do that” I said.
” It’s impossible, I shot you multiple time and badly wounded as well” he said.
” And here I am standing gallantly like nothing happened, isn’t that fascinating” I said smiling.
” You died” he said.
” No…..point of correction, you tried to kill me……if you had put a bullet in my head I would’ve been dead so I guess my time on Earth is not close” I said.
” But for you I’m afraid not” I added.
” HEEEELLLLP,. HEEELP” He shouted.
” Don’t bother shouting…..no one will hear you” I said increasing the volume of the music.
” Wha…..what do you want?” He asked.
” Just a tiny bit of information will suffice” I said.
” I’m not telling you anything” he said.
” I doubt to that…….cause by the time I’m through with you, you will spit it out” I said.
” We’ve been trained for torture, there’s nothing you can do to make say anything” he said and I smiled.
” well not by me, so I will just ask you the question” I said .
” So tell me……who sent you?” I asked and he said nothing just as expected.
” Hope you won’t be too scared for what’s about to happen” I said then started pulling off his clothes.
I pull off every clothing he have on him till he is Stark naked before me and I see a wondering look on his face.
” Don’t worry you will get the impression very soon” I said then went to the kitchen and pick a knife.
” What are doing?” He asked.
” Nothing…..I just want to perform an experiment on you for me to gain more knowledge” I said as I got closer to him then shove a cloth in his mouth.
” My sister is a doctor and I’ve been wanting to ask her to tell me more about scrotum and testis”
” I didn’t like biology in school but I do have a lot of curiosity about the human body” I said.
” I wondered what the testis look like……..you know testis right?” I said.
” Those two balls inside the pouch called scrotum, I haven’t seen how exactly the balls look like, so that’s the experiment I will be performing tonight” I said.
” Uuuhhh….ughh….ughh” he grunted through the cloth.
” I’m sorry i don’t understand what you meant but don’t worry I will try to be gentle” I said then placed the knife on his scrotum.
He grunted loudly as I Pierce little of his scotum and a little blood came out.
” Hmmn, little blood……does it mean that there’s no blood in there or what, well I think I will have to find out by opening it completely” I said.
” Unnnmmmmmm, uummmm….ummmm” he grunted more loudly with tear from his eyes.
” Sorry you say what?……I can’t hear you ” I said and he grunted again.
” Are you ready to talk?” I asked.
” Ughhghh…..ughhhhhh…. Ughhghh” he grunted.
” Fine, then don’t waste my time” I said then removed the cloth from his mouth.
” F**K you, you’re crazy” he shouted.
” I’ll be more crazier if you refuse to tell me who sent you” I said sternly.
” The DIGs…… it’s an assignment, a mission from all the DIGs, they sent all six unit after you and also to retrieve something from you” he said.
” I already know that, I just want to confirm that’s all…..just one more question” I said.
” When you said all the DIGs,…do you mean DIG Martins is also there?” I asked.
” Yes, he was there that day…….he gave us your address” he said.
” I see…..he stabbed me in the back” I said.
” Please you have to let me go……I had nothing to do with it…..I was only following orders” he said.
” There are some order that you can reject…..you cause the death of all those men that came after me cause you’re their leader”
” You lead them to their death, you as a leader you have the right to question them and know the reason they want anyone dead”
” They sent you to kill me and you came directly to my house without asking for reason why they want me dead”
” It’s not my fault” he said.
” Nah…… it’s either you know about it or you want something from them” I said.
” So tell me what did they promise you?” I asked and he became unwillingly to say anything.
” Nothing?…….I guess I will have to continue from where I stop” I said then pick up the knife again.
” They promise to give me a 100 million naira if I was able to complete the mission” he said quickly.
” Ohhhhh…….so tell me have they given you this 100 million?” I asked.
” They told me they are working on it” he said and I smiled to myself.
” All because of money you lead all those men to their death, remind me how many are they cause I don’t keep count of people I killed” I said.
” 60 men……you killed 60 Agents” he said.
” Wooww……I didn’t kill them, you killed them cause you lead them to me blindly” I Said.
” My work here is done,…… I’m going for my next target” I said.
” Please release me……please let me go” he begged.
” Fine, I will let you go” I said then pick up the knife and thrust it in his throat and he gasped to death.
” You can go to hell” I said.
I was about to leave the house then I thought of carrying a weapon since I don’t have one, I search the house and looked all over the place.
I went to his room and search there as well and I found two guns under the bed with some cartridge as well.
I took it all and went out of the house and make sure no one saw me before I left, as I got outside I took a cab and went to the hotel.
I got back at the hotel and went to my room, I planned on going over to DIG Martins house tonight.
He should be my next target since he stabbed me in the back, he conned me into all this and he will pay.
I went to my bag and bring out an E.M.P device, this one has a high range efficiency better than the last one.
I have everything with me and left the room, immediately I got outside I find it hard to see a taxi as it is very dark.
I went to a bus stop and wait for a bus which will take me to a place not too far from his house.

Author’s POV
(MIDNIGHT——-DIG Martins Residence)
DIG Martins and his family are in their rooms sleeping,then suddenly the light went off.
The officers guarding the house sprang up immediately the light went off and they were surprised cause it has never happened before.
Two of the officers went to the generator and they switched it on and the light came on and the officers left.
About two minutes later the light went off again and the officers went to check on the generator.
Mr Martins woke up the second time when the light went off, he stood up and put some clothes on.
” What’s going on?” Mrs Martins asked.
” I’m going to check on the light” he replied.
” Want me to go with you?” Mrs Martins asked.
” No, don’t worry I’ll be back soon” he said then went out of the room with a touchlight.
He climbed down the stairs which lead to the parlour and just when he got to the parlour he saw a shadow sitting on the couch.
He quickly pointed his touchlight at the person, he was scared to see a man in his house.
He couldn’t see the person’s face as the person wore a hood to cover his head.
” Who are you?…….How did you get in here?” He asked.
” I do come here frequently…do you think I just came to stargaze , I’ve calculated my way in and out without anyone seeing me” desmond said.
” What are you talking about?……I said who are you?” Mr Martins asked then he made to call on the officers outside.
” If you call anyone of them I promise you, you will be dead before they get in here” Desmond said.
” Wh…who are you? And what’s do you want?” He asked.
” Your life” Desmond said showing his face to him and he was shocked to the bone.
” MIA?…….ohmyGod, MIA you’re alive” he said excitedly.
” Don’t play games with me sir, no more games cause you must die today” Desmond said.
” Mike, please calm down” he pleaded.
” Calm down?……you stabbed me in the back, you betrayed me…….I was starting to think you’re one of the good ones and you do this to me?” Desmond said.
” Mike, I swear I never did any of those, I was threatened that’s why…….you have to believe me Mike” he said.
” I don’t believe a betrayer, you will see how I deal with betrayers” Desmond said pulling out the guns.
” Mike, please hear me out……please Mike you have to believe me” Mr Martins begged.
” Do you have any last word sir?…….if you have any it’s time for you to say it” Desmond said then he pointed his gun at him.
” Don’t worry……others will join you very soon” he said then pointed his gun at him.
” Safe journey”.
