CHAPTER FIFTY TWO

Jessica.
I rose up to my feet immediately I received a signal from Jacob. Just as we planned, i left everyone and headed to a room, it wasn’t locked so I got inside. I began pulling off my dress, jewelries and heels. I grabbed the black straight skirt with white shirt that was placed on the bed and put it on, I let down my hair and wore flat shoes.
I glimpsed at the mirror, yeah am good to go. I removed the white folded paper from my purse and dipped it into my pocket. Thank goodness those that are serving drinks also wore mask so I don’t have to remove mine.
I smirked d’vilishly, recalling what happened the day before yesterday.

I was at the living room, watching a movie when Jay received a visitor, it was one of his boys actually. Due to the guy’s appearance, I could tell he’s a bad type, well I wasn’t surprised cause Jay hangs out with lots of bad people.
“Boss, you called.” He said after settling down unto the couch with a ¢igarette in between his fingers, the whole living room already reeked of ¢igarette.
“Yeah, i have an assignment for you Samuel.” He told him, I averted my gaze from the television and faced them.
“What could that be boss?. You know I’d do anything!.” He said.
“Good.” Jay retorted with a smirk. “I want you to rent a mansion, a very fancy one. Then, throw a masquerade ball party.”
“Huh?.” I muttered confusedly.
“Why boss?.” He asked Jay, he also seemed confused. Well, thank goodness I wasn’t the only person who seemed disoriented.
“Do as I say Sam. I’ll tell you all what you’re gonna do later. Do you get me?.”
“Alright boss, consider it done.”
“What the h’ll Jay??. How is throwing a big party going to help us?!.” I half yelled after Samuel left.
He chuckled. “Relax Jessica, I have a plan.”
“Whatever it is, I also wanna be involved okay…!. I’m sick of you telling me to be patient.” I told him with seriousness.
“Of course you’ll be part of it, you’re Jessica Smith after all.”
“Yeah I am.” I smirked.

Now here we are, our plans worked out successfully….well almost. I headed to the door and stepped out as I went to join those that serve drinks to the guest.

He slowly broke the kiss, with his hands cupping my cheeks, we both stared at each other. His calm eyes pierced into mine making me almost hiccup.
“Don’t ever talk to other men….” He stated low.
“Please..” He added. I just looked at him, my mouth felt heavy to respond, my head’s blank…..I don’t know what to say or think.
He dropped his hands, stepped backward….turned and walked away. I blinked twice, jerked off from my frozen state.
What the heck just happened?!. He….we…kssed?. He kissed me!. I know it isn’t the first time we’ve kssed but….why…why did it feel so relaxing??.
I breathe out, hand fanned myself countless times. After I got myself, I headed back to the party. I saw him holding a glass of wine, his back was facing me, a small smile formed on my lips, I can’t believe we kssed.
I suddenly felt shy and nervous to approach him. Then, a lady in bright blue dress walked to him. I have no idea what they’re talking about but the lady kept giggling. I felt a sting in my chest, he turned around as his eyes met mine, as if he knew I was behind them.
I looked away, feeling…..upset while the b*tch walked away with his glass of wine. What the h’ll?.
“That punk!. How can he kss me and still fIirt with another lady??!.” I thought angrily.

I was served a drink by maybe a maid when I got back to the party. I held it, thinking about her….geez, I couldn’t control myself. Her lips were so tempting as fk but on the bright side, I feel good I kssed her, I have no regrets at all..
I was about to take a sip from my drink when a lady walked to me.
“Hey handsome.” She said in a British accent.
“Yeah?.” I responded coldly cause she stood very close to me.
“Sorry but you are good looking and damn, I couldn’t stop admiring you.” She giggled.
I scoffed, feeling disgusted. “Get out of my sight bch.” I told her.
She took a step closer to me and whispered. “Your wife is staring at us mr handsome.”
Huh?.
I turned to see her gaze on us, damn Riley…!. I don’t know why i felt bad immediately she looked away. I didn’t even realize when that whore took my drink from me cause I got lost in staring at Riley.
I walked to her. Why the hell do I feel nervous??.
“Riley…uh….”
“Can we go home Scott?.” She asked, looking elsewhere.
“Alright.” I responded coldly, trying my best not to sound nervous.

I succeeded in taking the poisoned drink from him, but seriously, Scott’s really cold. Damn!. I tried not to sound like myself, he’d recognize me so I spoke to him using British accent.
It isn’t over yet. I held the glass of wine and walked to one of the maids who are serving drinks to guests
“Hi, take this.” I gave it to her.
“Yes ma’am?.”
“Please kindly pass this to that gentleman over there.” I pointed at where he stood with the woman he brought along.
“Yes ma’am.” She bowed and walked to him, his ‘woman’ already left.
I watched as she got to him, i smirked when he took the wine from her, my mission is almost successful. I kept my gaze on him, hoping he takes it….
My heart raced when he walked towards him, “Fk.” I cussed under my breathe. Why the hell is he with him, I began to panic, what are they talking about…..I know whatever they’re talking isn’t the problem but what if Jacob passes the drink to him….
Fk that mustn’t happen!.

Jessica already changed into her dress, she winked at me signifying she succeeded in what I told her to do. Such a smart bch.
“Are you sure he took it?.” I asked.
“Of course, trust me.” She smirked.
“Good.”
“So what now?.”
I simpered and sucked my bottom lip as I drew her close to me, she m’aned silently when she felt my hard thing. “Now…?. Why don’t we find a quiet place and i’ll make you scream my name…”
She smiled, she was about to speak when her phone interrupted her. She stared at it and faced me with a side smirk. “It’s Derrick.” She said.
“What bout him?.”
“He texted the cocaine is ready.” She answered.
“Really huh.”
“Yeah.”
“You should give him a call then, inform him i want ’em complete. Am not in the mood to speak to him cause I might commit a mu.rder if I do so.”
“Alright…” She giggled. “I’ll meet him at where you guys usually meet.” She said turning to leave.
“Okay. Bye then.”
That dkhead, he always disappoint me. I won’t let him go if my cocaines ain’t complete, I’ll kill him!.
“Sir…” A voice said as I turned around, it’s one of those serving drinks. She held a tray laden with a glass, “Sure.” I said collecting it from her.
She bowed and turned to walk away. “Jay.” I heard my name, I faked a smile as he moved towards me.
“Ryan, what’s up?.” I asked.
“Have you seen Scott?.”
“Uh no….why…why did you ask?.” I said.
“Well, I can’t find him and his phone isn’t going through.” He stated worriedly, I laughed within me. That ba$tard must have taken the poi$on…..
“Oh, I haven’t seen him.”
“Alright, maybe he has gone home then.” He shrugged.
“Yeah maybe.”
My phone vibrated, a call from Jessy, she must have received the cocaines. I looked at the fool in front of me and forced a smile on my lips. “Sorry, I gat to take this.” I said.
“Oh no prob.” He smiled.
“Thanks.” I turned and headed outside.
I picked the call immediately i got out to a quiet place, “Yeah….?.”
“It’s complete Jay.” She chuckled.
“Good, tell him I’m gonna pay him later.”
“Alright. When are you coming? I’m so h’rny.”
“Soon.” I disconnected the call.
I sighed, sipped from the wine I held and smirked at the thought of that coward. Very soon, I’ll get rid of all of them….I won’t spare them!.
I gulped the whole content and breathe out, i attempted in going back inside when i felt a sharp pain in my chest. I placed my hand on it with confusion….what happened?.
I shrugged it off, maybe i drank too much. I couldn’t help but whimper when I felt it again, this time is intense. I slumped to the ground still holding my chest, I began couching out….bIood??. What the fk is wrong with me??.
I struggled to get up to my feet but couldn’t cause my body suddenly felt lame. Then, a lady in bright blue dress approached to where I stayed on the ground.
“Hey…miss, please….he…help.” I stammered in discomfort.
Hopefully, she got to me and knelt down beside me. I expected her to help me stand up but instead she removed my mask and stared at me.
“Get help please.” I begged, my body aches badly…
She placed her finger on my lips, shutting me up. Huh?. I became confused, isn’t she supposed to help me out?. She also removed her mask, I couldn’t see her clearly cause my vision suddenly became blur.
“See me now?..” The lady asked. What is she talking about?.
“Get ready for your end ba$tard.” She said, I sensed she already got up….
“Hey…help me…where are you going to??. Don’t leave me please.” I begged. I couldn’t even see the person anymore….
What’s wrong with me????.
