2HOURS LATER….
Sabrina laid on her stomach and on her bed as she did her homework. She adjusted the rims of her reading glasses as she scribbled through the notebook.
Thirty minutes later, she was done with the last homework and was on the last Chemistry solution when she heard knocks on her locked window.
She darted her eyes towards the window and quickly crawled out of bed…
“Who’s there?”she asked, as she got closer to the window. She heard no answer cause instead, the knock came again.
“Holy Mary be my guide!”she did a cross over her head and chest before deciding to unlock the window.
“Arrgh!!!!!!!”A scream emits from her and she flinched back with fright, holding her hammering chest as the person jumped over the window and into her room.

“Arrgh!!!!!!!”A scream emits from her and she flinched back with fright, holding her hammering chest as the person jumped over the window and into her room.
She immediately swirled around and made for the door to escape. But she was only opportuned to grab the doorknob when a hand wrapped around her waist, and the other covering her mouth and turning her shouts into muffles.
“Hush, Sabrina. It’s me.”he voice hushed, slowly letting go of her.
Sabrina turned around and shakes her head unbelievably at her brother.
Her hand was on her chest, her heart still thumping in its ribcage. God! she was so scared.
“You couldn’t use the front door, huh?”she snapped her index finger before him gingerly, arching her brow inquisitively.
Instead of answering, Austen turned to the window and went to lock it close.
“Mother!…”Sabrina started to shout but before it could get any louder, he had grabbed her shoulders and turned her around to face him, the look on his face so pleading it made Sabrina to clamp her mouth back shut.
“I didn’t want them to know I came late, I’ll just go to my room from here.”he said and as he spoke, Sabrina noticed he wasn’t looking into her eyes.
He let go of her shoulders after she’s nodded in agreement. And she again noticed the slight winch that escaped his mouth when he dropped his hands back beside him.
Immediately she knew something wasn’t right with him.
He gave her a smug smile and briskly walked towards the door. Sabrina ran forward and leaned against the door, successfully obstructing his way.
“Take that off.”she snapped at him the next minute, as she indicated towards his hoodie.
“It’s chilling in here, Sabrina. I need to get to my room.”he dismissed the talk, grabbing her hand.
And before he could even think of pushing her away from the door, she tiptoed and throwed the hoodie away from his head.
“Damn, Austen!”she slammed her palms against her mouth and gaped at the huge red bruise located a little below his eyes.
Her eyes bobbed in their sockets and knowing this wasn’t going to end well, he quickly pulled her away from the door, threw it open and shuffled out of her room, throwing the hoodie back on his head.
“I clearly got into a fight.”she mumbled to herself, peeking her head out of the door to see him entering his room and slamming the door shut, causing her to snuck back her head into her room.
