CHAPTER 92
“This big mouth” Valentina said inwardly.
Ricardo just stared down at Pearl with a cold look on his face. He closed his eyes and looked back at Michael.
“You’re welcome and make sure you protect my daughter very well” Ricardo said.
“You don’t need to worry Sir” Michael smiled.
“I’m sorry for bringing them here but I became so attached to them that I couldn’t help but take them along.. Hope you won’t mind” Michael said.
Ricardo looked at Valentina and Pearl, reflecting on whether to let them stay.
“Just let us stay.. You can hire me as one of your maid” Valentina pleaded.
Ricardo sighed and looked away with his hands in his pocket.
“Okay, you’ll be my daughter’s nanny” Ricardo said.
“Thanks so much Sir” Valentina said happily.
“We’re gonna stay in this huge house? So cool!!” Pearl screamed.
“Pearl,,, shh!!” Valentina hushed.
Pearl quickly closed her mouth shut and looked down, playing with her feet.
“I hope this kid won’t be a nuisance to my mansion” Ricardo said and began leaving.
“The maids will show you to your rooms” Ricardo said and left.
Pearl turned to Valentina with a cute smile on her face. Valentina just shook her head..
“Please follow me” A maid addressed to Valentina.
Valentina nodded and waved at Michael before leaving with Pearl. She couldn’t help but admire the various furniture in the house, the sculptures, lights, walls everything..
Valentina also noticed a particular picture of a lady and she’s been seeing in almost all the walls
“She’s pretty…” Valentina muttered.
“Oh its the boss wife… She died three years ago” The maid said.
“That’s sad..” Valentina sighed.
They continued their walk till they got to the room assigned to Valentina and her daughter.
“Thanks a lot” Valentina smiled and entered the room
The room was clean and cozy…just the way she likes it.
“C’mon Pearl,, hell mummy arrange our clothes in the wardrobe” Valentina said.
“Okay mommy” Pearl smiled.

“So this is my father’s picture and everything you can find related to him. Unfortunately he died too soon. Asthma” Kaden sighed.
Those who came for excursion including Charlotte were busy jotting down some of what he said.
While some were jotting down what he is saying, some where busy taking pictures of him, wishing they could just get married to him.. He’s too cute, just too cute!!
“A question please?” Charlotte lifted her hand up.
“Yes”
“Can we know the biography of the queen? I mean your mother” Charlotte asked.
“Okay” Kaden said and began telling them every details
Every now and then, he would look at Charlotte but quickly looks away when their gazes meet.
“Why is he looking at me? Do I know him?” Charlotte wondered, looking at him.
His face really looks familiar but she couldn’t recall where she’s seen him.
They continued the excursion till it was over. Time to leave….Charlotte plugged in her ear pieces and began playing music while walking out of the palace.
“Hey!” Someone caught Charlotte’s arm making her stop.
She removed her earpiece and turned to see it was Kaden.
“Em Charlotte…”
“I keep having this feeling that i know you” Charlotte interrupted him.
“Yeah, back then in New York. I helped you when a thief snatched your phone” Kaden replied, scratching the nap of his neck.
“Yeah! Now I remember… Kaden!!” Charlotte exclaimed and quickly closed her mouth.
“Sorry,, king Kaden” Charlotte said.
“No, I prefer you call me Kaden. Uhm,, I was thinking if we could get more acquainted and…Uhm, how about a dinner” Kaden said, stammering
“Why I’m I so nervous..gosh!!” Kaden cvrsed himself inwardly.
“You mean a date? Well, I have no lectures today so okay.. 7PM, here’s my address” Charlotte gave him a paper and smiled before leaving.
Kaden stared at the paper with a smile on his face. His eyes widened when he realized something.
“Wait, can I get…”
“Your number” He trailed down when he saw she was already gone.
“Stvpid me,, how can a king be so nervous to court a girl…dmn!!” Kaden cursed himself as he walked back in.
Unknown to him that uncountable eyes stared at him in pure shock.

“Uncle Cardo!!!” Jordan exclaimed when Ricardo entered Logan’s office. Jordan ran and hugged Ricardo.
“How’s my boy doing?” Ricardo smiled.
“I want to go to school” Jordan pouted.
“Jordan….” Logan trailed.
Ricardo just chuckled and placed him back down before going to sit opposite Logan.
“So how’s my bro doing?” Logan asked
“Well I’m just the way you see me… Lonely, and you?” Ricardo asked.
“With Jordan who keeps giving me headaches how do you expect my day to be great” Logan sighed.
“No I don’t…” Jordan chirped in.
“That’s it!” Logan stood up from his seat but Jordan rushed out his office while laughing.
Ricardo couldn’t help but laugh too.
“I’m planning on taking back Myles, latest tomorrow” Ricardo suddenly said.
“Huh? How?” Logan asked.
“Well you know I have been gathering proofs of Evelyn being involved in Valentina’s death right? Well I have enough which can send her to jail but jail is an easy end for someone like her… I’ll just use one of my evidences to get back Myles” Ricardo said.
“Wow!, that’s good my boy” Logan teased.
“Fk you…who’s your boy?” Ricardo rolled eyes making Logan to laugh.
They discussed for a whole before Ricardo stood up.
“Need to go bro,, have to pick up my kids for we’re going out today” Ricardo said.
“No probs,, bye bro” Logan said. Ricardo nodded and left his office.

“What of this one Sir” A lady said
Gavin looked at the contenant of a little box and shook his head. All what they kept showing him just isn’t what he is looking for.
“Show me the most expensive one you’ve got” Gavin asked.
The lady nodded and walked in. Few minutes later, she walked out and then showed Gavin what she went to take.
Gavin smiled instantly…
“That’s what I’m talking about, here’s my ATM card…just settle down the bills” Gavin said.
The lady nodded and left. She came back with the good inside a packet. Gavin smiled and took it before leaving.
He took a deep breath and smiled, these are his last days of living like an ordinary person. In few days time, He’s going to be star!
He simply smiled and left the area..

RICARDO’S MANSION**
“The outing was so cool, thanks dad!. “Minnie smiled
“You’re welcome baby” Ricardo replied.
Minnie pecked his lips before leaving for her room. Once she got in, she went and took a quick shower before changing into one of her casual wears.
As she busy brushing her hair, she suddenly heard the sound of something break outside.
Minnie furrowed her brows and kept her brush before walking out of her room. To her surprise, she met a little girl and beside it was one of Ricardo’s vase,,, broken.
“Oops!!” Pearl muttered and took in her lower lips.
“I’m sorry,, I just wanted to chase off the spider on it then I ended up falling on it…I’m so sorry” Pearl pouted.
“Please don’t tell the handsome tall man,, he’ll be mad and drive me and my mommy” Pearl pouted, fighting back her tears.
Minnie just stared at her in surprise. Since when does this house have a little girl living in it?
“Uhh… Okay, but you have to be careful. I hate seeing tears so don’t cry” Minnie finally spoke.
Pearl nodded and wiped the tears that threatened to fall.
“I have never seen you before.. Are you new here?” Minnie asked and Pearl nodded.
“Me, my mommy and uncle Mimi we arrived earlier today.” Pearl smiled.
“Oh…okay” Minnie said and spotted a maid passing by.
“Uhm excuse me. Can you clean this mess?” Minnie said.
The maid nodded and went to clean it. Minnie held Pearl’s hand and they began walking to the living room.
“I’m Pearl and you” Pearl asked.
“Minnie,, how old are you?” Minnie raised her brows.
“3” She smiled.
“Wow..you talk much for a kid of your age” Minnie said.
“That’s why everybody loves me..but I’m scared of that tall handsome man, he’s too cold” Pearl pouted.
“Think you’re talking about my dad” Minnie chuckled.
“Really? Well you don’t look like him” Pearl exclaimed.
Minnie just smiled. Maybe having some company around won’t hurt..

“Are the gvns ready?” Evelyn asked.
“Yeah” One of her men replied.
She smirked d’vilishly and licked her lips..
“Prepare for tonight,, we’re gonna have some fun tonight” She said and took her gvn then placed a kss on it.
