Gavin opened his eyes as he stopped playing the piano. His classmates all clapped for him, including the tutor.
“Wow! You’re really talented.. Keep it up and I’m sure you’re gonna ace” The tutor said.
“Thanks” Gavin smiled and stood up.
“Who’s next?”
“Me! Me!” A girl named Ivy rushed to the front. Gavin walked back to his two friends.
“Wow! You were so cool.. I can literally feel the emotion gush off the sad song you just sang” Caleb smiled.
“Thanks” Gavin replied.
“And your voice was…gosh!, so melodious!” Bianca added.
Gavin simply smiled and hung his arms round their shoulders as the walked out of the room.
“Let’s go look for something to bind the body and the soul together… I’m starving!” Gavin said.
“Yeah me too!” Caleb said as they walked to the cafeteria.

BAXTER’S VILLA**
“Like this?” Peggy asked a maid.
“Yeah ma’am, don’t water the plant too much” She said
“Oh okay” Peggy smiled.
Well the day was bright and beautiful so she decided to go help one of the maids who was taking care of the flower. Well, she can’t deny that she missed this place a lot.
“So the swing is still intact” Peggy gushed when she saw the swing. That was Valentina’s favorite spot when she was still small.
“Yeah ma’am” The maid said.
Peggy smiled and continued with the gardening. The maid just couldn’t help buy steal some glances at her. It was really hard to believe that the Master’s wife is still alive.
“Ma’am, is it true that you’re the Master’s wife?” The maid blurted out.
Peggy looked at her and smiled then nodded.
“Well yeah… Had to fake my death for somw reasons. Now I’m back!” Peggy replied.
“Omg! That’s so nice..I’m so happy! At least, boss will stop brooding.” The girl said.
“Oh sorry ma’am..I talk to much”
“No its alright, I love carefree people like you. What’s your name?” Peggy asked.
“Mella ma’am” she replied with a smile.
They continued with the gardening, unknown to them that Gael was standing behind them by a pillar, watching them.
He was passing by when his eyes caught Peggy. Without knowing, he stayed and found himself staring at her.
Peggy laughed when Mella mistakenly slipped and fell. She unknowingly looked at Gael’s way.
She stopped laughing and began staring at him too. A slight smile spread on her lips.
Gael just turned and walked away… Peggy sighed.
“Don’t worry ma’am. Boss will eventually forgive you. He looks scary but deep down, I mean deep deep deep deep down…he has a heart of gold” Mella said.
Peggy smiled and slowly nodded…

“Presenting to everyone, our new leader!… Evelyn Harper!!!”
Evelyn slowly walked down the stairs, dressed in a black long gown with black shiny lip stick on her lips
She stood in front of the others and smirked.
“Welcome to a new era with me! We’ll take over the Baxter clan and then showed them that they’re nothing compared to us then we’ll show the whole world what we’re made of..” Evelyn said.
“Yeah!!!!!!!” They all cheered and screamed while Evelyn smirked devilishly..
Myles who was hiding while watching all these, slowly took a picture of them through the phone Ricardo handed him some they can communicate together. Once he was through, he also made a voicemail saying all what happened when Gael came here, he sent it to Ricardo and glared at Evelyn before leaving the area.

RICARDO’S MANSION**
Ricardo walked out of his room, dressed casually. Well he took a bath in order to refresh his brain.
Suddenly, his phone beeped. He brought it out to see it was a notification from Myles. He clicked on it then listened to his voice and also looked at the pictures he sent him.
A smile spread on his lips.
“Good job Myles” He thought and then smirked.
“Its been barely two days that Myles is there and your secret is slowly leaking off Evelyn.. Just wait and watch how your own son will bring you down” Ricardo said inwardly.
“Boss…miss Emilia is here” A maid announced.
“I’m coming” Ricardo said and walked to the living room.
He met Emilia staring and the various furnitures in the living room. Once she saw him coming, a smile spread on her lips.
“Good day boss” She smiled widely.
Ricardo forced a short smile on his lips before walking closer to her.
“You called for me boss” Emilia said, tugging her hair behind her ear.
“You look beautiful..” Ricardo said making her blush crazily.
“Th..thanks boss” She looked down.
“Please have a seat” Ricardo said and she did as per ordered.
“If I called you here is because I saw some disturbing things about you and I want you to clarify me about it.” Ricardo said, bringing out some photos from and envelope.
He looked at it before slowly handing it to Emilia. Emilia collected it and a gasp escaped her lips at what she saw
Pictures of her were taken where she could clearly be seen discussing with Evelyn.
“You never told me you were so acquainted with my ex wife” Ricardo said.
“Uhm boss I.. I..boss..”
“Shh!..” Ricardo placed his finger on her lips, making her shiver.
“Its cool, it’s not my problem if you two are friends..I just want you to help me in one thing” Ricardo said, coming closer to her.
He leaned closer to her so much that his lips brushed her ear.
“I need you to tell me each and every one of her doings” Ricardo whispered.
Emilia gulped down. His closeness was really affecting her and his warmth breath that ¢aressed her ear made her w et.
“Sure…sure boss!” She replied without knowing.
“Good, I always knew I can’t count on you Emilia” Ricardo smiled and gave her some space.
He poured some wine in two glasses and handed her one.
“Cheers!” He said and sipped on his drink.
“Cheers” Emilia replied shyly and drank from her glass.
“Thankfully you’re still in love with me. I’m gonna use you to know Evelyn more better and if I find out you’re involved in my wife’s de..ath…you’re doomed” Ricardo said inwardly with a smile on his face.

TWO WEEKS LATER**
“Yay! I won again!!!” Kimberly shouted.
“And I’m second!!” Riley smiled
“Argh!!” Iris and Charlotte groaned and fell on the couch.
Well they were at Iris and Charlotte house, playing PS5.
“Looks like loosing run in your family” Kimberly teased and laughed.
“Be careful young lady..just because you’re my future daughter in law doesn’t give you the right to mock at my babies” Gael said reading a magazine.
“Oh sorry future in law” Kimberly said sweetly.
Gael looked at them and smiled before looking back at the newspaper he was reading.
“Another round” Iris said.
“Game on!” Kimberly smirked.
She sat back down and they began playing. Only the noise of their fingers as they pressed on the gamepad were heard
“Who wants cookies. Straight from the oven!” Peggy said entering the living room with a tray in her hand.
“Me!!” The girls chorused, not tearing their gaze off the TV.
Well Iris being Gael’s daughter is no longer something new in the country..
“I also made tea too” Peggy said
Peggy walked and placed the tray on the table with a smile. Gael looked at her from the corner of his eyes.
Well she became more beautiful than the past days…and glowing too.
He quickly adverted his gaze off her..
She took the kettle and made to pour the tea in the various mug but the table shook and she mistaken poured it on her hand.
“Ahh!!!” Peggy winced.
The girls immediately stopped playing games and looked at her.
“It hurts…” Peggy winced as she blew air on her already red hand.
Gael didn’t even know when he rushed to her and took her hand.
“Are you okay?” Gael said, staring at her hand with great care. He began blowing air on her hand.
The girls exchanged glances and smiled knowingly. They quietly stood and left the room unnoticed.
“I’m…I’m fine” Peggy said and smiled
Gael looked up at her and slowly released her hand then looked away.
“Thanks…hubby” Peggy smiled and turned to leave but Gael grabbed her by the arm.
He turned her to him and then pulled her closer, hugging her tightly.
“I missed you so much my love” Gael whispered.
Peggy smiled and hugged him back too.
“I missed you too” She replied.
Gael broke the hug and looked at her then cupped her cheeks.
“Promise you’re never gonna leave me ever again” Gael said.
“I promise..till death do us part.” Peggy replied.
Gael chuckled.
“Fk de..ath… Even death won’t do us part for I’ll follow you wherever you go” Gael said and kssed her forehead.
Iris, Kimberly, Charlotte and Riley peeped in and smiled sheepishly..

“Is she waking up?” A man dressed in a black leather jacket with jeans said. He looked really hot!
“Yes boss…we honestly thought she’ll díe, looks like she’s really lucky” The doctor replied.
“She’s been in comma for three full weeks…
As they were talking, they felt someone move on the bed beside them. That made them turn to the bed to see someone sitting on the bed, looking dazzled.
Part of her face was burnt, looking wrinkled and kinda ugly..
She touched her face and looked at her hand with wide eyes. She then looked at the two men who now had their focus on her.
“Who…who I’m I? What I’m I doing here?” Valentina asked.
