“Wait… What?!!”
“Marry you??! Are you kidding me right now? Why would you ask that? It’s your wedding day today and you want me to- Seriously?? Does that even makes sense??” Alecia asked all five questions at a time but Leroy didn’t reply any.
She looked at his face and she could tell he was dead serious, but TF!
It doesn’t makes sense at all. Why would someone want to marry someone else on their wedding day, not just anyone, a complete stranger! Really??
“Ten million dollars! Ten million dollars, to say the ‘I do’ with me.” He said and her eyes widened.
Really??
“Really?? Really?? What do you take me for?? Look here, you can offer whatever you want, I’m not getting married to you! Did you even listen to yourself?? Your bride is on the altar waiting for you and here you are-”
“15 million dollars!” He cut her off and her eyes dilated more.
15 million dollars?!! That’s way lot if money. She could use it to settle her mom’s hospital bill and other debt they owe but still it wasn’t right.
“Look here Mister. In as much as I want this money, I can’t do this. This is marriage we’re talking about here.
A lifetime decision. I can’t jeopardize my future for money, and I’ve always wished to marry someone I loved.” She said and he laughed.
“What’s funny??” She asked, staring at him as he laughed hysterically.
“Oh my gawd, very funny. Someone you love?? The earlier you get up from that dream of yours, the better for you.
Love is a fairytale.” He said, and she stared at him, she could have sworn she saw a flash of hurt in his eyes.
His face became serious again.
“30 million dollars.” He said and her eyes widened like saucers and her mouth opened wide.
30 million dollars?!!!
“This is not right.”
“We’ll divorce after 3 months.” He said and she looked him.
“Ahh!!” She screamed, ruffling her hair roughly, clearly confused and helpless.

“You may now kss the bride.” The priest announced and Alecia’s eyes widened.
Wait… What??!
Was he gonna kss her?? Really?
Her thoughts were answered as she felt the cold breeze h!t her face. He just took off her veil.
“No Leroy! Don’t do this to me! You can’t be getting married to someone else while I’m here!
Remember you love me! Leroy!! Mum, dad do something!” Glenys kept shouting like a mentally deranged woman, shaking vigorously as her mom held her tightly preventing her from running to the altar.
“No Leroy!” She yelled and then Leroy slammed his lips on hers and…
“Nooo!!!!!”
Alecia’s eyes widened when she felt his soft lips on hers.
He really did kss her? He just took her first kss from her! Hah!
She found her eyes closing slowly as she reciprocated the kss, her hands entwined around his neck.
“Leroy!!!” Glenys fell to the ground in tears.

GLAMOUR’S BOUTIQUE
Evie and Valerie arrived the luxurious boutique in their different cars and they went in together.
“Alright. Go ahead and shop, I’ll wait here for you.” Valerie said and Evie looked at her.
“Really?? Don’t tell me you followed me here, just to let me do the shopping alone? C’mon, shop with me.” She pouted.
“I don’t-”
“C’mon Lerie…”
“Lerie??” Valerie repeated.
“Yes. Lerie, Valerie. That’s what I’ll call you, no one dares call you that except me.” Evie said and Valerie smiled halfly.
“C’mon, help me pick new dresses.” Evie told her and Valerie nodded and joined her.
They began selecting numbers of dresses while Evie tried it on.
“Here.” Valerie showed her a blue gorgeous gown and Evie smiled.
“Classic.” Evie said.
“I know. Try it on.” She urged and Evie nodded and went into the changing room with the dress.
