CHAPTER 60

Jemma and Weston walked to the altar with a wide smile on their faces.

“You’re looking extremely beautiful today” Weston whispered to Jemma and she smiled even more.

Their were done with their vows and exchanged their rings. Just then Mr Vicky walked into the venue looking straight at Jemma from the door.

Jemma’s flowers in her hand dropped as tears roll down her cheeks.

I guess this is the best punishment, I could receive in my life. You refused to see me for the past 25 years.

Jemma said in her head with joyful tears rolling down her cheeks.

Jemma ran to her Dad and gave him a tight hug.

“I’m so sorry dad” Jemma said in tears and Mr Vicky pat her back.

“I’m glad you made the right decision. I’ve always wished the best for you” Mr Vicky said holding back his tears and Jemma tightened the hug.

“Is it right for you to hug me like this? You’re not done with your vows yet” He cut in.

“Dad, you have no idea how long I’ve waited to hug you this way. Thank you so much for coming Dad” Jemma said sobbing.

RECEPTION VENUE…

Jemma couldn’t let go of Mr Vicky’s arm.

“Father, I think you should have arrived weeks later after my wedding.

Now I can’t even hold my wife’s hand. She’s glued to you” Weston pouted and Mr Vicky laughed.

“She’s 44 but still act like a baby. I guess she missed me so much” Mr Vicky smiled.

“Brother in-law, you shouldn’t be jealous. After today, you will be spending months together with sis so I think you should bear it for some minutes” Fanny said jovially.

LOST PASSION : CHAPTER 51-THE END

Zed arrived at the venue and Cindy walked in with him.

“Buddy!” Zed called out excitedly as he ran and gave Eli a tight hug then joined them at their table.

“You couldn’t even make it for my arrival but you flied back for mum’s wedding” Eli whined as he broke the hug.

“Zed, I’m glad you came just like you promised but why are you arriving late?

You missed the vows and bro’s speech at the altar” Josie said with a smile.

“The wedding vows were live on social media so I watched it on my way here. Eli, how’s your confession to Ruby? How was it?” Zed asked loudly and everyone stared at him in shock.

“What confession?” Josie asked curiously.

“What are you saying Zed?” Ruby asked sarcastically and Zed smiled.

“I see, so you failed. Well too bad, I was hoping you would be in a relationship before my wedding so you don’t feel left out but guess I was wrong.

Seems you’re destined to feel that way after all” Zed said and everyone looked at him a bit confused.

“What wedding? Are you getting married?” Everyone questioned in unison.

“Of course, Cindy and I are getting married in two months time” Zed said and brought out the invitation card from his pocket.

“What!” Eli and Ruby gasped with their eyes fixed on the card.

“Cindy, how come you never told me about it? Were you planning on keeping it away from me till the day you get married?

I thought we’re cousins so why didn’t you even share this with me” Ruby complained.

“I’m sorry Ruby, Zed and I planned on telling you guys as a surprise” Cindy said and Ruby stood up.

“It was really a surprise. My heart almost jumped out of my chest” Ruby said with a frown.
