“Ruby I’m sorry” Cindy said softly as she held Ruby’s cloth lightly.
“Come with me” Ruby ordered and they left the table.
“Do you think leaving Cindy with Ruby that way is safe?” Linda cut in out of the blue and Josie sighed tiredly.
“I feel her pain. Ruby feels so betrayed right now, how can her cousin give such an important news from her” Josie said slowly.
“Zed isn’t my cousin but I feel so betrayed as well” Josie added glaring at Zed.
“Come on Josie, don’t give me that look. I didn’t hide anything from you guys and we concluded on the wedding date when I was away.
Dad felt I was going to leave so lavishly and that’s how I made up my mind on the wedding” Zed explained.
“Buddy, are you sure you’re ready for marriage? Aren’t you a bit too hasty?” Eli asked.
“What’s hasty?” Josie and Zed fired.
“Come think of it, Zed isn’t the type to get married so fast or easily.
He’s a bad boy remember” Eli said but everyone looked at him stupidly.
“What’s the look for?” Eli asked.
“Zed, stopped being a bad boy years ago. You sure didn’t have an idea because you were away” Josie said sarcastically.
“That’s why you need to get yourself a girlfriend as well. Even aunt got herself a husband, why is it so hard for you to get a girlfriend” Linda cut in.
“Is this a firing squad or what? Why are you guys turning against me?
Who told you I haven’t been trying to work things out” Eli uttered frustratedly.
“I think you should try harder” Zed said.
“Bro, I think you’re not confident enough. You lack confidence bro, how can you let a woman toy with your feelings when so many ladies out there are dying to go on a date with you.
Come on bro, I think you should man up and speak up” Josie encouraged and Eli nodded.
“Wait a minute, are you advising me or insulting me?” Eli asked with a frown.
“I think she did both of them” Zed said.

Ruby dragged Cindy to a corner and clapped hands with her excitedly.
“How was my acting?” Ruby asked with a smile.
“Perfect! You got everyone flustered”
“I’m glad you finally had your way with Zed. I thought he was the hard headed type but he actually agreed to push through with the wedding.
This means he loves you a lot sis” Ruby said with a smile.
“Of course, I threatened him about going on blind dates set by my Dad and he felt insecure” Cindy laughed.
“Does this mean we will be having a wedding again soon?” Ruby smiled.
“Of course”
“Josie, I think you should drop the act now because I think you will be on the losing team soon” Cindy added.
“What do you mean Cindy?” Ruby asked curiously.
“I heard the white lady rumored to be Eli’s girlfriend is coming to Seoul me next week.
Why don’t you listen to Eli’s explanation, I don’t think there’s anything going on with the two of them.
First of all, give me your phone” Cindy ordered and Ruby gave her.
Cindy unblocked Eli’s number and got a notification on his phone and all his pending messages for Ruby went through.
“I guess this is the answer you’ve been waiting for” Cindy said and gave Ruby back her phone.
~ “Abigail and I aren’t in any relationship. The both of us, went to same college and we became best buddies, there’s nothing more to that.
And besides, Abigail and I can’t be together because she likes women” ~
“She likes women” Ruby gasped covering her mouth and Cindy smiled.
“See, you were upset for no reason” Cindy said and another message came in from Eli.
~ “Meet me at the parking lot” ~ Eli texted.
