Mukasa called up Cynthia and she picked up,
“Hi babe, we are already in the park going home to see you, she said.
“What the hell are you doing and are you thinking at all? Mukasa asked.
“Yes I am thinking, the police is looking for a man carrying a baby and not a lady carrying a baby, understood? She asked.
“No Cynthia, she is still too young! Shouted.
“And she is safe okay, I carefully dressed and covered her up alright, alright bye see ya later, I need to get on this bus, Cynthia said and dropped the call.
“Cynthia! Mukasa shouted and paced around angrily…………..

Patricia, Jendyose and Christiana arrived at the station around the Eastern region and laid their complain.
“Do you have any picture of the baby or the man? A cop asked.
“Honestly sir I have none, Christy replied.
“Okay, can you identify them? Another asked.
“Yes I know the man, but as for my daughter, I didn’t even see what she looks like. Please you have to help me, Christy said.
“Alright, we will do something about it, the cop said.
“Thank you, please reach us if you get to see anything, Patricia said.
“Sure we will, The cop said and they left the station.
“I was thinking, can we visit the hospital I delivered? Maybe Mukasa may call the doctor and he may have some information about where we can find him, Christiana said.
“Alright, I also want to see the useless doctor who did this, Patricia said and they took a cab down there.
They arrived there and found out the doctor just left to have his rest,
“Ermmm nurse I hope you still remember me right? Christy asked.
“Yea I do, and why? The nurse replied.
“Ermmm I was wondering if the man who brought me here has ever visited since then, she said.
“No I haven’t seen him, the nurse replied.
“Alright, please can you tell the doctor we came to check on him, Christy said.
“Alright I will, the nurse said and they left the hospital.
“What now? Christy sadly asked her mom..
“Let’s just hope on the cops, they gave their word and I’m sure they will find him.
I want to believe he is here and it will be difficult for him to get out, Patricia said touching her.
“Let’s go home, Dembe may be looking for us remember, Jendy said.
“Who is that? Patricia asked.
“The woman who helped me out, she promised to come today to help look for my baby, Christy replied.
“If so let’s go, Patricia said………

Ochen arrived at Christiana place but found the door locked,
“Are you sure its here? He asked the little boy who showed him.
“Yes, maybe they went out, he replied.
“Its alright thank you, Ochen said and gave him a note as appreciation and he ran back home.
He looked around and found somewhere to sit and wait for them, then he called up Bale.
“Arrived yet bro? He picked up.
“Yea I just did, but they are not home, Ochen replied.
“Why where did they go to? Dembe asked.
“Probably they couldn’t wait for you, I’ll just sit and wait for them to come back, He said.
“Alright, just inform me when they get back okay, thanks son, Dembe said.
“Its nothing mom, talk to you later, Ochen said and dropped the call…….

They got home and saw someone head covered sitting outside,
“Who’s that? Jendy asked and went close and touched him.
“Can I help you? She asked and he got up..
“Ochen? Ochen what are you doing here? Christiana asked when she saw his face.
“I came to see you, sorry about that ma, he replied.
“Mom, he’s Dembe son, Christy said.
“Oh sorry, is it long you came? Jendy asked.
“Ermmm about a hour or so, he replied.
“Sorry we left to the eastern region and we are just back, please come in, Jendy said opening the door for him and they all went in.
“How did it go ma? Any news about him? He asked after Christy offered him something to drink.
“Not yet, we only got to report to the station over there since the one here hasn’t given us anything tangible yet, Jendy replied.
“I don’t know, I wish there is anything I can do to help now. I’m sorry Christy, he said but she only nodded.
“Where’s aunt? Christy asked.
“Oh about her, she asked me to come, he replied.
“I hope she’s fine? Jendy asked.
“Yes she is, just that she had an accident yesterday and she’s in the hospital, he replied.
“Accident! What happened? Christiana asked getting up.
“Hey hey is not what you think okay, is a home accident and she’s fine now, he replied.
“Oops, please my regards to her when you get home, Jendy said.
“I will ma thanks, so about Christy case, is there anything I can do to Help now? He asked.
“We honestly don’t know what to do about this, but let’s hear from the cops over there tomorrow, Jendy replied.
“If this happens around the Eastern region, then he must be hiding somewhere, but then the baby is still too tender to be taken far, and also it is possible he can still take her far knowing the cops will be looking for him just to be out of sight, Ochen said and Christy eyes bulged out.
“Please don’t say that, is already difficult we finding him in the east, what will happen when he goes beyond? Christy asked.
“Right now we will just believe he is still hanging around, if the police are looking for him in Gulu and the East, I think he won’t escape them, Ochen said.
“I pray so, Christy said and her mom phone began to ring.
Its a strange number, she said and picked up.
“Yes, she said.
“Hello, calling from the Gulu station. A man is sighted here with a little baby, can you please hurry to identify him? A cop asked.
“Sure, we will be there soon, thank you, Jendy said and dropped the call.
“Let’s go mom, Christy who heard the conversation said and they all left the house to the station.
They arrived there and saw it was a different man who was detained,
“Sorry its not him, Jendy told the cops as Christy was so disappointed.
“Alright, release him, an officer said and Ochen touched Christiana hand.
“Take this as a sign that they will get him okay, he whispered to her while Jendy and Patricia were speaking with the cops.
“I don’t know what to feel anymore, will I ever see my daughter? She asked and he nodded.
“Just believe you will, you don’t have to lose hope now, he replied and Jendy and her friend approached them.
“Let’s go dear, Patricia said and they left the station.
“Thank you so much dear, I think you need to go home and look after your mom, your distance is far, Jendy said to Ochen.
“Alright ma, I’ll come back tomorrow, he said.
“Please be careful and send my regards to aunty, Christy said.
“And be strong okay, you will overcome this also, he said touching her hand and left and Jendyose noticed something between the two and smiled scratching her head as she watched Christiana looking at him.
“Okay Christiana, I think i have to go home from here too, don’t worry everything will be fine okay, Patricia said.
“Thank aunt, Christy said hugging her.
“Thanks friend, you’ve been most helpful, Jendyose hugged her.
“Nah its nothing, please care of yourself, Patricia said and left too, while they took a cab to head home ………….

Mukasa kept calling Cynthia line but she kept ignoring, he was so worried sick and he kept checking the time calculating when she should arrive.
His phone began to ring and it was her calling,
“Where the h’ll are you! He shouted on her.
“Outside the door, she replied.
“What! He said and quickly opened up and saw her outside with a bag carrying the baby.
“Surprise! I told you, it wasn’t that difficult was it? she asked giving him a peck but he quietly carried the bag in…………
