Cynthia already hinted Pius that she left the hotel to the house already in the morning he called to check on her.
“But why? The house isn’t set yet for you to move in, he said.

“I had to because I saw Mukasa friend in the hotel and I didn’t want any complications because I was scared he must have seen me, I had to leave, she replied.

“Okay fine, just try to get the house set and if the money is not enough you let me know, he said.
“Wait a minute, aren’t you coming to see us today? You promised didn’t you? She asked and he heaved.

“I know I promised to……. “Look, Catherine was sick yesterday and that’s how Mukasa friend saw me because I left to get her drugs, she cut in.
“Catherine was sick? Why didn’t you tell me that? He asked.

“Is there a chance When she’s just a second choice, and i didn’t want to disturb your happy family, she replied and Pius shook his head.
“Cut it okay, I’ll be there, he said and dropped the call.

Cynthia smiled to herself after the call,
“Good news is awaiting you darling, she said happily touching her tummy…..

Pius sat down thinking hard and shook his head,
“I’m tired mhen, i cant continue with this, he said and hurried with the files on his table and left to see Cynthia……….

“Pius what are you doing in the capital? This will be very interesting, Achen said in her heart still following him behind.
Minutes later he diverted into a street and parked outside which she did same some distance away.

He walked into a red gate and Achen followed too but didn’t know the exact door he entered as she saw it was a rented place.
“Sorry please, I heard a lady recently parked in here, where is her door please? She asked a man who wanted going out.

“Oh I think that door, he replied pointing at a house with protectors.
“Thank you, she said and slowly walked up to it.

“Welcome darling, is so nice to see you, Cynthia said rounding her hands on his neck and attempted to kss him, but he slowly kept it down.
“Why are you acting this way? And where is Catherine? He asked.

“In school, what’s wrong with you? She asked.
“Nothing, I’m no longer comfortable with your attitude anymore, I mean you’re getting too serious with me and is no longer funny, he said and Cynthia looked at him and scoffed.

“Listen to yourself Pius, so I shouldn’t be serious with you huh? And why? She asked.
“Fine you are the mother of my daughter so? I know that and I am married don’t forget that, whatever is going on between us is nothing but fun. We both are married and you left your husband for some flimsy excuses, I hope you are not dragging me to do same with you because I won’t and I didn’t send you to leave him either, he said and Cynthia slapped him.

“How dare you talk to me that way! Don’t forget you dragged me into this when you kept bothering me even when I didn’t want to, Now you stand here telling me shit when you are the cause of this! How dare you disrespect me this way! She shouted.

“I’m I really the cause of this? You were carrying my baby when you went ahead and got married to Mukasa, was I married then? And what made you left me anyway? You caused all of this and you should be grateful I am helping you out despite what you did to me, you’re so ungrateful! He shouted back on her and she looked at him breathing hard and bite her lips hard Pacing around.

“Why did you bother me then? Why didn’t you leave me alone? I thought you said you love me? She asked and he smiled.
“You’re not a kid and you should understand this better.

Well I think I am dropping all of this now, it was just my emotions then getting the best of me but I’m sorry I love my family and I must stand up to be a Better husband and father to them, of course I can’t do that when I’m involved with you this way. I will only take responsibility of my child Cynthia, let this stop! He said and Cynthia smiled.

“Children Pius, children! She shouted and he looked at her.
“Children? What are you talking about? He asked.

“I’m pregnant okay, she replied and Pius smiled.
“For who? He asked and she looked at him surprised.

“Did you just ask that question? She asked back.
“And I need an answer, I’m not a kid Cynthia and what ever fling that has been happening I’m always on protection, so who is the father of the baby? I think only you can answer that question, You know what, I’m done with this discussion, he said bringing out money from his pocket and put it in her hand.

“Take Care of my baby, let’s say you’re now my baby mama that’s all you are to me now, he said and left immediately while Cynthia looked at him shocked as she saw tears tickling in her eyes.
“This can’t be, no this can’t be! She shouted throwing the money on the floor and ran after Pius.

Achen didn’t had the courage to go in after she was shown the door, she shook her head and went back to her car and called up Mukasa.
“Hey any news? He asked.
“I just saw my husband meeting with her now, she rented a house, she replied.

“Is that so? Did you see them together? He asked.
“Well I haven’t seen her yet, but I’m going to wait outside and watch if she will go out with my husband to be sure, I don’t want to barge in on them and find out I was wrong, I want to lay cool, she replied.

“You know what, I’m at work now but please update me okay, he said.
“Okay bye, she said and dropped the call and nervously waited in the car for them.

“Oh please may I be wrong about this for I swear, I will kill somebody! She sternly said and the gate opened.
She saw Pius walked out alone and she sighed in relief when no lady followed him behind,
“I’m I wrong about this? She asked herself when she saw him trying to open his car but Cynthia ran out and met him outside and Achen gasped in shock.

“So its true? She said silently as she saw Cynthia held Pius from behind crying on him.
“I’m sorry okay, please don’t do this, Cynthia said.

“Can you stop this now? I’m tired okay and I don’t want this anymore. Please go back to your husband, he said and she shook her head.
“But I can’t, not now I’m carrying your baby, she said and he shook his head and removed her hands from his body.

“Don’t get me upset Cynthia, that baby isn’t mine and if I hear this from you again I promise you will never see me again, he said and Cynthia sniffed still pleading and he heaved and held her on her shoulder.

“This is what you’ll do for me, go back to Mukasa for the sake of his baby, don’t worry I’ll still take responsibility of Catherine, I have to go now, he said pecking her and got into his car.
“Pius please don’t do this to me, she cried but he drove off and Cynthia slowly got inside cleaning her eyes.
