EPISODE 39 (Semi-finale)

“It’s not possible! It’s just not possible you placed my next level in the hands of that wicked soul, Lord.” Kingsley said in anger and hurt. Truth be told, he always looked back and whenever he sees his life would’ve been better than this if not for a wicked soul, his countenance fell. Whener he stumbled on the success and achievements of his classmates wgo were in no way better than him online, his mood changed. All these sprouted hatred in him unknowingly, but was beginning to manifest now.

“Kingsley what you are asked to do isn’t a hard one at all, so why are you complaining? You’re only to play the role Ananias played in Paul’s life and that’s all. Is it a difficult one?” He felt his conscience say as he sat and let tears flow from his eyes.

“Lord this is hard. Loving your enemy is hard. That man deserves a miserable life, afterwhich the most painful death possible.” Kingsley soliloquized in his room.

“He ruined my life Lord. My plans, my goals, ambitions, everything! He is responsible for this backwardness I’m facing. I can’t….I can’t……no! No, no, no, this doesn’t make any sense at all.” Kingsley said as he laid back to sleep.

David was up in the midnight hour, just to go through his Bible for that day. He was going to have a busy day, so He decided to study first thing in the morning instead of the usual last activity in the night.

While searching for where to study, he developed interest in a particular portion of the Bible and began reading carefully.

“And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.” He read aloud from Luke 17:5 as he pondered on the verse.
“Why would the apostles ask Jesus to increase their faith? Was there a particular breakthrough or task they needed to carry out that their faith was too little to lift?” He questioned himself as he read the verse over and over again.

Just then, he remembered his prayers for his family concerning a helper.

“You need to pray the prayers the apostles prayed to the Lord then. Your faith needs to be increased because what your request seems impossible to those around you, and those your answered prayers would benefit; so their unbelief doesn’t infect the health of your faith. Also, your faith needs to be increased to accelerate the favorable circumstances required for your breakthrough and also bring favorable persons your way.” A voice within explained.

“O Lord, increase my faith!” He prayed without hesitation.

Favour was so tired that she couldn’t pray this midnight.

“Remember you planned to be committed to intercession for Mr. Frank.” Her conscience

“Yeah but……. a night off won’t hurt right?” She groan as she drifted off to sleep.
Unknown to her, her prayers have been preventing the ruler from having full possession of his target’s soul and mind.

“Perfect timing. No resistance at all. I’ve waited for so long.” The ruler said in evil excitement.

“Jesus!” Kingsley screamed out of his sleep with pants. He was practically in his own sweats.
He just had two consecutive dreams that got the tiniest of his hair standing.
In his first dream, he saw the rapture occur; and it felt like a spirit left him. He knew within it was the Holy Spirit. He tried to join the rest that were going up but it felt like there was a heavy load on his legs.

“You’re unforgiveness and bitterness cost you this glory.” An angel above said as K could clearly see the saints rejoicing and thanking God for not fainting on the way.
On seeing this, K wept bitterly.

Next he found himself at a large gate clothed with clouds. In front of the gate stood a giant being.
“Welcome.” He said in his thick voice to the smiling Kingsley.

“Thank you very much.”

“Please step into the box for screening.” The angel said gently as K looked down to see a box just a step ahead of him. Immediately it stepped in, the box turned read coupled with an alarm that could deafen the human ear.

“What is the problem? You worked so hard to be here.” The angel said as he placed his hand on K’s heart, as if to listen to his heartbeat.

“Do you have any bIood on your neck?”

“Huh?”

“Your palm…let me see it.” The angel requested as K stretched out his hand to reveal his palm. To his utmost surprise, his palm was stained with many drops of bIood.

“But I ki.lled no one during my lifetime on earth.” K almost screamed in fear.

“Let’s see.” He said as a screen-like image appeared before the both of them.

“Is that….is that not Mazi Mbakwe.”

“You were asked to save his soul so he could be trained and given a second chance, but you refused.

Because of this singular act of yours, the destinies attached to his were affected.
Some were wasted, others weren’t able to reach their destination.

So the bloodstains on your hands represent these affected destinies, alongside his.”

“No, no, no. They’re so many.” K soliloquized as he looked up to plead, only to find a foul smelling creature behind the approaching them.

“You were warned, so there’s no excuse.” The angel said, and afterwards gave way for the irritating creature to have his way.

“Noo!!” He screamed, and the next thing he saw was himself in a very hot environment.

“No! No!! No!!! This cannot be!” He screamed. It was at this point he woke up, still feeling the heat.

“Never! Hell is not, and can never be my portion! Mazi Mbakwe, it’s not me you’ll implicate. I’m coming for you.” He said as he began planning on getting to his home town first thing that morning.

It was early in the morning and the whole of Favour’s family were out to have breakfast that morning before stepping out for the day’s work.

All through, Frank couldn’t help but be drawn towards her. He tried restraining himself from her but this time didn’t find the strength to do so.

As she went into the kitchen to get the dishes done after breakfast, he followed.

Favour noticed and stopped in her tracks to see what the problem was.

“Is something wrong, Sir?” Favour asked suspiciously.

“I love you.”

“Sir?”
